if you're looking for a thick, heavy foundation, stay away. however, if you want nice, sheer coverage, this is perfect! it goes on well, stays put throughout the day, and treats my skin well. totally worth it.

I usually have bad luck with drugstore foundations, but I've found that Almay suits my combination skin perfectly. It doesn't go on too heavily, yet it manages to even my skintone. I apply it with a foundation brush and set it with the Nearly Naked powder. Since I've been using it, people have been telling me that my skin has a nice glow...that was an added bonus! Definitely recommend it if you need minimal coverage with an SPF.

This make up is amazing. I set it with the nearly naked loose powder. People have been complimenting my skin for the first time in forever.

I used Neutrogena Skin-Clearing foundation throughout the fall, but by the end of the fall I noticed that the makeup was looking a little orangish on me. And it's not because it was too dark necessarily--the foundation just had very slight orange cast that I could get away with when I still had some residual tan but couldn't with my winter pallor. I decided to search for a cool-toned foundation for use during the winter, and Nearly Naked in Ivory is IT. This has no hint of yellow or orange. It melds beautifully with my skin right now, and the coverage is breathable yet substantial enough that I don't feel overexposed. Of course foundation is so individual and I can't guarantee this will work for everyone, but if you're searching for a pale, cool-toned drugstore foundation, I highly recommend this product in Ivory! May try a different shade in the line during the summer.

I've been using this for about 2 years now and I still love it. It is very very sheer, so if you're looking for heavier coverage steer clear of this one. This is very moisturizing and I like to use it on my dry skin to help moisturize and lightly even out my skin tone. It does have a sheen which softens nicely with a gentle dusting of a finely milled powder. I like to use the Vincent Longo pressed Powder.

Well I already have almay clear complexion makeup in nude and other than the fact that it's just TOO yellow/orange for me- it's not bad so I went to the drugstore today looking for SOMETHING almay/// I noticed that between the 3 different choices (nearly naked, clear complexion, and the line smoothing makeup) the colors have the same names but actually vary greatly between the 3 color-wise. For example the clear complexion color naked was kind of yellowish as were all of the clear complexion makeups and the naerly naked makeup in naked was a very nice color nothing yellowish- so i decided to go with buff which is one color below naked---
I can see how this would make someone with great skin- look flawless but I do have some redness and some redmarks from old breakouts and it doesn't cover at all- I'm kind of upset because it makes the clear sections of my face look fabulous but my blotchy areas look the same- maybe if i used a concealer first it would look good... it blends really nicely which I like- others have said it feels oily- but it isn't really IMO-
I'd buy this again- but not until my skin cleared up or I had the time to use the concealers.

Well, I seriously regret wasting $14 on this awful foundation! I recently ran out of my Clinique Superbalanced Foundation and since the nearest Clinique counter is nearly two hours away from where I live, I decided to buy a temporary cheaper foundation until I was able to go to Macy's. I have combination, beige skin with yellow undertones. I normally use the Clinique Superbalanced Foundation in Light (#28-N) which I LOVE...it matches my skin perfectly, leaving it feeling natural and soft while looking beautiful and blemish-free. I decided to try using the Almay Nearly Naked Flawless & Weightless Foundation in Beige because the color was almost identical to my Clinique foundation, just a little bit lighter. At first I didn't notice anything too abnormal about this foundation...until I looked a bit closer and noticed how blotchy and red it looked on my skin!!! Probably the worst foundation I have ever tried, I honestly couldn't stand using it anymore, I would've rather gone without any foundation than use this crap! Luckily, I just bought my trustworthy Clinique today! The best beauty advice that I could give (besides taking care of your skin) is to invest in a good, quality foundation and get color-matched by a professional. I am by no means wealthy or made of money but the extra money spent on quality face products is worth it! Trust me, as an aspiring makeup artist...DO NOT USE THIS PRODUCT!

This liquid foundation is wonderful. It goes on with ease and within minutes dries leaving no greasy residue especially when set with a lightweight or transluscent loose powder. It may be too oily for those with acne but for those with combination or dry skin it is perfect. You can build the coverage from a sheer layer that just evens out skin all the way up to heavy coverage by stippling with a foundation sponge. That is a continuous patting of areas needing heavier coverage. The product contains sunscreen but I still wear a very sheer sunscreen underneath for extra protection. This foundation is a fantastic value for the price. I pay $12 or so dollars at my local drugstore and often they offer either buy one and get one free or a discount sale price. The color selections are good for this product ranging from shades for farer skins to darker. They could probably use an extra shade on the lightest end and on the darkest end but otherwise excellent color choices. I use the lightest Ivory 120 shade and I apply a few dots on each side of my face and gently blend out with my ring finger for light coverage.

I was looking for a good oil-free foundation that would not break out my skin. I used this foundation only once and felt that the coverage was too sheer; and I like to look natural! It also felt really oily, even though it's oil free. My face felt slick by the end of the day. I have combo/cystic acne-prone skin. It was expensive too, $15 for a small bottle. I need something a little thicker and will cover better. My search goes on...

yes, the coverage is very sheer. Yes, it does go on oily but with a great translucent powder over it, it sets perfectly. It looks very natural and the color (Naked) blended seamleslly into my skin - no tell-tale color lines or orange mask here. This is a foundation only for someone with near perfect skin . It does tend to wear toward the end of the day, so touchup is a must. Its not perfect. Price is expensive for what you get and bottle should preferably be a pump, but its not.

Just had to weigh in as someone who hardly ever wears makeup and is trying to start again; I love it! It is light, evens out my skin tone, and has a great finish. Remember that this stuff comes in three different formulations: one for each skin type. Maybe that's what's resulting in the wildly different ratings? Anyways, I bought it in the dry skin formulation. Thanks for listening!

Horrible!!!!!! I should had read the reviews before buying this makeup...I bought it in sand. Why have it in different colors, I ask? Almay, why bother? When I put this on is like having a face cream on and thats it. No color showed up on my face and it didn't cover up anything at all. I know it says on the bottle nearly naked but it should had said Naked, Naked, Naked...and Oily, Oily, Oily....It is expensive too, and I will never buy this again.....

So far I've been very pleased with this foundation! My HG foundation was L'oreal Translucide liquid in Nude Beige. I bought the Almay in Buff and its a great match. I tried the touch pad & it was uber oily on me & did not provide good coverage. This provides wonderful coverage, but still sheer enough to let my skin show through. I've used this 3 days in a row at the beach, the SPF is great & it provides a wonderful dewy look, but is a lot less shiny/oily on me than even translucide. It's a perfect balance between glowy & good coverage. I'm very pleased so far & i've been trying many higher end brands that just did not work for me (Becca LSC, Estee Lauder , Chanel, Clarins, & more!)

Horrible. Almay made a HUGE mistake when they discontinued their Amazing Lasting line and replaced with this line. This line SUCKS. Amazing Lasting was AWESOME. Nearly Naked is thin and cheap looking. Hardly any coverage. It was like putting a film of nothing on my face. Felt awful too. Why did they replace such a great product with such an inferior one????

This was AWFUL!!!!! I bought the lightest color, as that was what I took in 'old' Almay, but it was waaaaaaay too fair......Until it turned orange. It took me around 20 minutes to get any foundation out of the bottle, and it was turning orange by the time I got out to my car, about 10 minutes after I had applied it. I also had difficulty getting it off. It formed a water resistant paste with my clenser and eventually had to be scrubbed off.

I also have sampled the new Clear Complexion in the second color, and it also turned orange.
