Nudes are particularly hard for me to pull off. I'm NW5ish, so I'm already pale as a corpse, so I can't easily wear any color that is too light. I'm also extremely cool toned with warm, rosy pigmented lips, so lip colors tend to pull orange on me. L'Oreal Fairest Nude is the answer to these problems. It's a fairly creamy, but fairly matte, pigmented light, cool pinky nude. It's not pale enough to wash me out, and it has enough pink in it to flatter my cool complexion. I've seen it look almost lilac on some warmer skintones, but for me those lavendar tones are totally gone and it's more of a straightforward muted pink-nude. It would look great with many looks. Because it's so thick and pigmented, the color lasts a pretty good amount of time on my lips, especially for a nude. The only thing is that it has that terrible L'Oreal lipstick scent. I hate that, but I'm going to wear the crap out of this.

I'm pleasantly surprised by this lipstick! I have 2 other colour riche lipsticks, but they have shimmer and are not very creamy. This one is creamy and is such a nice nude color/MLBB color! I definitely would reccomend this as a good drugstore nude.

This is a gorgeous nude/beige/pink that looks great by itself for an understated look with smoky eyes and it also looks fabulous with a gloss on top. Chanel's Jaipur looks stunning over it. The only qualm that I have is that the top keeps falling off in my purse. I would buy this again because of the color though.
UPDATE: Someone told me that this shade is an exact dupe for MAC's Blankety! I own a lot of MAC lipsticks, but don't have Blankety, so I can't say for sure, but I really do love this color and wear it a lot!

LOVE THIS! I usually use MAC lipsticks, but someone recommended this on youtube! And she was right, this is the perfect nude lipstick for me! I am NC42 for reference. The staying power is good, about 3-4 hours. and the color is just beautiful. I like how it also moisturizes the lips and has no drying effect like some of the mac lipsticks.

The problem for me was the taste of the lipstick. I didn't like it at all! But I think it just takes getting use to. One thing I didn't like was the packaging. I know its not a big problem, but I hate how I cant just cover the l/s but I have to make sure that it clicks.

I like the Colour Riche formula, but this color does not come close to flattering me. The reviewer that said this looked like a gray mauve from '97 was spot on. Washes me out big time. If it had more pink or were deeper it would have worked, but as is it literally makes me look sick.

I purchased this online, due to the rave reviews (sight unseen, as I live in Canada and this shade is not available here). I kept my fingers crossed that this would not be similar to shade 862 Nude, and thankfully it isn't. 862 Nude has more of a tawny hue to it.

This is a really nice shade of nude-pink with lilac undertones (at least on my lips). I like to pair this with Revlon's Lilac Pastelle to give a creamy nude-pink glossy lip (like a fully opaque cremesheen). I don't care for the packaging; lid is a bit stiff to open/close. The scent is surprisingly muted, compared to other L'oreal lippies I've tried in the past.

I can't say this is a dupe to MAC's The Faerie Glen, as another reviewer had suggested. The Faerie Glen leans more beige-pink compared to this, but this is still a great color.

I was so hesitant to buy this after seeing a swatch online. I loved the color, but knew L'Oreal lipsticks had an intense scent that I didn't care for. But...I broke down and bought it anyway and i'm SOOOOO glad I did. This is 100%, absolutely, positively my favorite nude lipstick at the moment. It matches my natural lip color to the tee and is moisturizing at the same time. But this stuff is amazing and surprisingly, the scent doesn't bother me as much as I thought it did. Will definately keep repurchasing this color and other L'Oreal l/s!!!

I do really like the color of this. It is a more natural pink-beige nude than the Myth/Creme D'nude family which really doesn't suit me at all. However, anyone thinking about buying this or any other L'oreal lipstick REALLY needs to smell them first. They have an extremely strong scent that you can smell when you wear it. I tried to de-scent mine by leaving the cap off, but the scent was so strong it literally took days to tone it down. I'm not sure it is worth the effort. I am more apt to look for a dupe than to repurchase this.

So many things bothered me about this lippie. First, I am NW20 (fair - medium w/pink undertones) black/brown hair, brown eyes. This is not a 2011 nude color (or even MLBB). I put this color on and all I could see was 1997. It was way too gray mauve. It is a 90's nude color (you know those brown/gray/muddy colors-when all the make up seemed so dark compared to today's). Yes there is pink in there, but on my naturally rosey brown lips, this just looked too icy, cold and gray. Not horrid, but not the bright healthy (but subdued) lip look I get with Innocence Beware or even with Revlon Soft Nude. This one (for me) is on the border of between a "pinky nude" and just MLBB. It is definitely not a full on nude like Revlon Soft Nude. As for the price, I don't know how or when the reviews got this for $5, but it was over $9 at Walgreens. If I am going to spend that much on a lipstick, I might as well just go to MAC where I can try it on first. There is no seal on this lipstick either. Anyone could walk up use it and put it back. None of the L'Oreal lipsticks had seals. Good for swatching, bad for health. Yes, it a does smell like grandma lipstick and it does leave your otherwise healthy looking lips look dried and cracked, Not good stuff at all. Needless to say this is going back ASAP.

Love the color with my pale skin; nude with a little pink.

Sometimes it feels a little dry so sometimes I mix it with clear gloss. HG lip color.

Ok, so I've read it's on the list of "the best beauty" of Allure magazine so I had to try andddddd yep, it wins its title proudly.
The color is great, just goes with anything you wear, good for the days u wanna wear lipstick but not sure which color. The texture is great!! Feels really really nice on the lips, moisturize exactly how it supposed to , no too creamy, not too dry, just exactly what u need (and I suffer from dry lips.) another benefit is that u can mix it with any color u like. I carry this lipstick with me anywhere. And the best: receive all this in such a good price, it's 100% worth buying

I like this color. It's almost exactly the color of my lips but a bit more pink. I love the smell of colour riche and the formula works well for me and is not too drying on my lips. This is a pretty color, though a bit darker and more pink than I was expecting (then again I have very pale skin). A great nude color!

I really like this shade. I love the look of nude lips but with my pale olive complexion it gets hard to pull off! To wear a nude lip(ex. blankety) I always have to top it with a gloss or else I look like a corpse. Not so with this one...it wears very well for me. I'd repurchase if I didn't already have 5 million lipsticks!

i recently got into nude lipsticks and this was my very first purchase. Im glad everyone else thinks the color is great too! I am a south asian girl with light skin and pigmented lips and i looove the look it gives me :) not to mention i got this on sale!
I'd repurchase if i find it on sale again. The lasting power is not great; I have to re-apply many times throughout the day, even if im not eating. However, Ive made this work for me. I apply GOSH Darling as a base layer, then apply this Lipstick on top and use L'oreal Passion Fruit Squeeze gloss on top. Looks great!

I tend to like brown and nude lipsticks for everyday looks, as I have pigmented lips - so adding more reddish color can easily look over-the-top. Neutrals that are a bit darker than this suit me better, but I appreciate Fairest Nude. It's a subtle and classy color, and my only pinkish nude.

I'd venture to say this and Revlon Soft Nude are the best drugstore pale nude lipsticks. I like them both, but Fairest Nude is more cool pink-based as opposed to Revlon's version, which is more peach-based. Also, it's slightly darker than Soft Nude.

I might be one of the few people in the world who like the smell of Color Riche lipsticks - so in my opinion it's a plus to this product, but I understand it's a downside to many.

This is an awesome nude color for lips. The color is not chalky and it doesn’t make you appear dead.It is a soft peachy nude with a hint of pink. This is often mentioned in magazines and goes very well with the summer tanned look or smoky eye look. It is a great buy and the color lasts especially with a nude pencil lip liner. It is not drying but a really rich color. L’oreal hit the spot with this formula and color.
Highly comparable to department store ones. There is no nasty smell and all around perfect nude color for lips.

i absolutely fell in love with this lipstick! The color is beautiful on my nc35 skin!! i have yellow undertones (light skinned asian) with pigmented lips and i love wearing a smokey eye with this. I heard this was a dupe for MAC Blankety. I've never tried it before but i'd rather pay $5 and stick with this lipstick. I love how it feels on your lips it glides on smoothy but lasting power isn't as great you might have to keep reapplying but its good for my dry lips in this winter weather! pakaging kind of sucks it would be so cute if they made it more colorful instead of a boring gold tube. But i think the word l'oreal graved on the lipstick is kinda cute =] If your nc35 looking for a nice nude/pinkish this is a GREAT lipstick! =] i would definately REPURCHASE. i feel so pretty when i have it on it just gives me a nice finished look if i dont have it on i dont loook as goood lol!

If I could, I'd give this a 3.5. This lipstick is the prettiest, pinky-nude color and very flattering on my NC30 skin/medium pigmented lips. I wish it was a tiny bit more moisturizing, but I just use lip balm before or a gloss after so it's okay. The packaging looks very nice and the cap clicks on securely. My problem with this is the smell. I'm not sure how to describe it other than it's a really strong, awful lipstick smell. I'm new to L'oreal lipsticks, but I've been told they all smell like that. As much as I like the color, I can't deal with the scent so I won't be repurchasing.

So, I was introduced to this lipstick by Leina from youtube, (Makeupbyleinabaaaby) because I am always looking for that perfect nude lipstick, I thought I should try it. It was only 5 bucks at Wal-mart so I scooped it up. Looking at the color, a pinky, light mauvey nude, beautiful color... I would not have thought this would be a nude I was looking for since I already have VERY pigmented lips and I mean mauvey, purpleish color. (Not cute BTW) So anyway, I put it on and what do you know the color was more on the plummy side, did not like this. So I grabbed one of those nude lipsticks that make you look "dead", layered this on top and the color turned into this light pinky, perfect nude for my skintone (NC 25-30). This color gives a little life to an everyday look and is definately perfect toned down lip color for a dramatic look. I am so glad I have this lipstick, I'm almost out!

This is such a great nude lipstick. Its sort of a creamy pink/mauvy/ nude instead of those beige corpse-like nudes. Its a bit light for my skin tone so I just use a nude or natural lip liner and fill in my lips half way then apply. Then I add a gloss on top. The lipstick has a lot of staying power as well. When you go out with friends to eat and have a drink, there's always point when you say, "Hey, I should go check my lipstick!". Some lipsticks fade alot even when worn with a lip pencil and a gloss. Not this one. The gloss would need retouching, not the lipstick. And this lipstick doesn't dry out your lips either.

This is so perfect for dramatic eyelooks. It really nudes your lips in a pretty but not an attention grabbing way. I really love this lipstck.
