Ah. Finally :D I have been looking for a cleanser that feels fresh clean, leaves my skin silky feeling, and removes my makeup. I would compare this to Bobby brown gentle cleansing face wash. I love this cleanser because it's gentle and leaves my skin feeling literally silky smooth! Took off most of my face makeup but like others have said, not good with waterproof mascara at all haha but I can deal! I got this on sale at Ulta for about 3 or 4 bucks whereas my Bobby brown cleanser is about 30!! Ah. I love this. And all this and it's only the first use!!! Will update in a week or two. Ps I got it in the light blue bottle? I don't think the formula's different. Lol well I hope they don't discontinue will be buying more for sure! Better than my Bobby brown and aveeno! My skin is dry in winter and combo/normal in summer.

EDIT
I initially bought this product and was very pleased with it. However, after finishing a bottle there was very little to no change in my complexion. Having very sensitive skin makes it difficult for me to find a facewash that works and doesn't irritate my skin. This cream didn't irritate me, but it didn't work either.
It cleans okay, but it doesn't do enough to clear up my acne.

this is my second bottle of the olay sensitive skin foaming facial wash. it’s one of the better facial cleansers i’ve ever used, and i’ve used quite a bit. i wash my face 2x with this cleanser each time i wash my face and it gets my face clean, the only downside of this cleanser is that it may leave your skin a lil bit dry so you might have to moisturize after washing your face. my skin is really acne prone and it does not irritate my skin at all. love it. <3

This is a great no-frills facial cleanser. I have oily acne-prone skin. I love using this with my Clarisonic Mia. The Mia in itself is a very powerful cleansing tool, so I needed a super-gentle cleanser to use with it.

This cleanser comes in a standing pump (very convenient). It is a white color with a slight pearlescent sheen to it. It contains no perfumes or dyes. It builds to a nice, rich foamy lather. It doesn't sting, burn or tingle, and after rinsing, my skin feels really soft and clean. It doesn't feel tight and dry afterwards.

If you're looking for a cleanser to get rid of acne, this isn't it, as it does not contain any medicines to fight breakouts like BP or salicylic acid. However, after using this for over a month, I find that it works well with my acne-prone skin and doesn't cause clogs or breakouts. And on top of that, it doesn't cost an arm and a leg. Highly recommended for people with sensitive acne-prone skin who want a basic unmedicated facial cleanser.

I really like this face wash. It isn't great at taking off waterproof mascara, but it does a good job at removing most cosmetics. It's a very gentle formula, with no unnecessary irritants. It doesn't cause breakouts or acne. It also has a fair amount of glycerol in it, which is a great addition.

Glycerol is a humectant that tends to attract water. This creates a product that has a detergent action without stripping your skin of moisture. (It also works great for creating a vitreous solid when freezing plasmids or other small bits of DNA, FYI.) This face wash will get your skin clean without the 'squeeky clean'.

After years of using Neutrogena Fresh Foaming cleanser I wanted to try a new cleanser that was less likely to dry out my skin. (My skin is combo in summer, dry in winter) FFC was really drying my skin out more and more.
I started my research and checked what my MUA Lovely's had to say. (I heard a make up artist on QVC use that term, " Lovely's," and decided to steal it from her, spelling may be wrong, but I digress). I put on my running shoes and hit the nearest store to try the soap free, oil free, dye free, fragrance free Olay Foaming Face Wash -Sensitive Skin.
It comes in a pump and I use about a half dollar size, FFWSS took off all my make-up including long wearing eyeliner (pencils and gel) with ease. No residue and most important my skin was not itchy and dry afterwards. My skin wasn't moisturized either but I would probably have to try a cream cleanser for that. I just want to be able to wash off all my make-up easily and some creams just don't do the trick. This cleanser performs well and I've been using it for more than a year now.
The picture on the far right is what the packaging looks like right now. The cost is around Five bucks and I highly recommend it!

Wow, I absolutely ADORE this stuff. I have tried so many face washes out there including high end stuff, philosophy purity, and other drugstore names. This is by far THE BESTTT!! For reference, I had horrible acne/acne prone skin and oral medications a year ago, so I'm left with clogged pores and lots of scarring :( After trying this, I saw a different in just a few days. It's very good at taking makeup off, but like others have mentioned, not eye makeup. But I always take it off before I wash my face anyways. To those of you who have a Clarisonic - THIS IS THE BEST WASH TO USE WITH IT! Fantastic! Will be repurchasing as long as they continue to make this! Thanks MUA for helping me find this gem :) And plus, the price cannot be beat for about $12 CAN and you get a NICE amount!

i have used so many products & this is THE best! i prefer the pump instead of the squeeze tube for sanitation and sanity (so much less frustration). I use this along with a few drops of tea tree oil to make sure I am acne free & not irritated. Every time i try another product I always come back to this because it does not make my face red & with my pale Irish skin that is a plus. very gentle, does the job & doesn't dry me out, less than $5, widely available - i pray they do not discontinue this!!!

UPDATE 7/4/12: notices this seems to leave a slight film on my face but overall if you need a good, mild, cheap cleanser this is great. I am looking forward to trying & reviewing Neutrogena ultra gentle cleanser that just came out.

Many see to like this product, but personally, I didn't at all. I hated it and won't buy ever again.

My face is sensitive and acne prone, and was recomented foaming action/ or sensitive skin cleansers. When I rinsed the cleanser, it felt as if I hadn't washed it all. My face felt clogged and oily for some reason as if it were all covered in something and I can't rinse it off. Man I didn't feel clean at all, I prefer to wash my face with whatever cheap body soap I see rather than using any Olay cleansers. (Used the Ageless one when I stayed over at my sisters and had the same experience).

For those who this is working, Great! :/ But I haven't had any luck with it at all.

My skin-type: Dry/Sensitive and if it's not balanced properly: acne-prone/combo...

First Impression: At first I really didn't care much for this product, when I used it as instructed on the package (something like: wet face & hands add water and wash face, rinse), I felt like it left a film.

However when I use it my way I LOVE IT!!!! So here is how I wash my face with this cleanser:

Pump cleanser into dry hands, dab onto forehead, cheeks, chin, and start to rub in circular motions with middle and ring fingers. If there is any tugging at all wet fingers with warm/hot water and go back to making circles, continue this for about 30 seconds, doing eye area last and re-wetting fingers as needed (focusing slightly longer on problem areas). Then take a washcloth and wet with warm/hot water and ring out so washcloth is still damp, gently use washcloth to remove cleanser, starting with eye area first. Using each section of the washcloth, and rinsing out and re-ringing out washcloth as needed. Once the cleanser is pretty much gone I do one last rinsing and ringing out of the washcloth, and cover face and glide washcloth over. I barely have to pat my face dry.

I have to say this cleansing method alone has really made a huge difference in my skin. It seems time consuming (in actually takes only a couple of minutes), but my skin has improved so much I don't feel I have to wear a full face of makeup anymore. And that alone saves a ton of time.

I love this cleanser! Definite HG for me, and I have tried a ton! I will continue to repurchase this!

I do wish the bottle was more travel friendly, but that is just a minor, minor thing. This is very affordable as well. I picked it up for under $5 at Walmart.

Update: I just found this also comes in a 7oz tube so that makes it a lot easier to travel with (although you'll still have to put it in something smaller if you're flying). LOVE THIS!

Though I have been using this for quite some time, I can't say it's an HG cleanser (that title belongs to Paula's Choice Skin Recovery). This, however, is readily available and far more affordable. I do appreciate that this is fragrance-free as well. That said, I don't like the gooey texture, nor the excessive lather that this produces. I also find that it fails to effectively remove my eye makeup. There is always a great deal of mascara and eyeliner left behind. I recently noticed that the packaging has changed, as well as the price (upped by one dollar). I felt the price increase unjustified and it prompted me to try out another cleanser instead. If things don't work out, I may be returning to this mediocre cleanser-but I'm certainly not beholden to it.

This is my favorite cleanser. I've purchased this more times than I can count and I finish every bottle. My oily, typically resilient skin was becoming sensitive due to Rx treatments and this was one of the few cleansers that didn't sting. It simply cleans, which is what my skin needs. It's effective enough that I've repurchased this after the initial sensitivity subsided.

Pros: Soap-free, oil-free, fragrance-free, inexpensive, foams easily, doesn't leave skin too dry or oily, doesn't aggravate or cause breakouts, available in pump or tube packaging

Cons: Can dry skin in cold weather, not the best at makeup removal

I swear by this stuff. I have struggled with acne for years, and this cleanser is perfect for me. It has never broken me out, and goes on super gentile.

If you are on the regimine (from acne.org), I highly recommend this...it's cheap, and works well. I also feel like it is slightly moisturizing, so I don't have to worry about it drying out my face.

I use this with the Olay Moisturizing Lotion for Sensitive Skin, and it helps keep my face acne free and smooth.

One Olay product that I especially hope is never discontinued (or reformulated) by Olay. I always try to keep a bottle of this on hand, regardless of whatever my skin regimen is. This is non-stripping, thorough and gentle. Foams just enough. Rinses well. Does not make my acne nor rosacea flare, and thoroughly cleans off all and any make-up. I like the pump packaging, too. Fairly utilitarian and no-frills, but it does the task. I recently renewed my supply for a modest US$4.95 @ CVS. Each pump lasts me for three months, with nightly use, so it's an effective product at a fair and reasonable price (even at full retail).

This cleanser removes all of my makeup except my waterproof mascara and rinses cleanly without being overly drying. When I wear wp mascara and/or heavy duty sunscreen I will use a cleansing oil first then this to remove everything.

It's great. Fragrance and dye-free. Gentle yet effective cleanser. Dirt cheap. Worth every penny. Will buy again and again and STOP looking at other cleansers.

I have been searching and searching for a cleanser like this! I've tried almost everything on my sensitive but acne prone skin and really nothing works like this does- I had the impression that using anything but a mild scrub every morning and night would stave off peeling, but once I switched to this, I realized I was completely wrong. My skin does not flake any more than with the scrub. This is by far the best cleanser I could ever recommend to anyone with sensitive skin. It does not irritate your skin at all, but thoroughly gets off all the oil and dirt. I would say, with wet hands, you only need about half a pump to clean your face. If you just cannot find a cleanser you can rely on not to break you out, make the change! And don't forget to follow it up with a good moisturizer.

I have to say I think I have found my HG cleanser! I love, love, love this stuff! I am just finishing my first bottle and have just ordered two more :) It gets off all of my makeup, and doesn't make my skin feel dry or irritated whatsoever. My skin is oily (yet dry and flakey at the same time, partially due to RAM I think) and very acne prone and sensitive. This makes my face feel amazing after I cleanse. My only gripe is that I can't purchase it in Canada, I have to order it online (we can get the normal here but not sensitive for some reason).
