This scent smells a lot like something I've tried before, but I can't quite put my finger on it. It smells sweet and smoky and a bit like tobacco on me, and reminds me of chimney smoke and Christmas shopping, so I think it would be nice in the winter. I have a sample of it (which leaked all over me, hence the low packaging review), and I'm not sure I'd buy it, though it is quite nice. I like less fruity scents; my signature scent is Vanderbilt, which my mom always wore.

I bought this years ago when the packaging was a little different. Anyway, I love this perfume. I recently discovered it when I was going through all my perfumes (upon cleaning my room) and fell in love with it. It's a great office wear because it is fresh, warm, spicy, and fruity in all. I find that it changes it's tones now and then and it smells different every hour. Not overpoewring at all. When i first bought it years ago, I did not like it too much as it was too overpowering and didn't like the smell. Now, however, I love it! The lasting power is AWESOME! Lasts all day! EDIT: After continuous wear this has started to smell like cigarettes on me (even my husband commented on this). No repurchase for me.

The first note that shoots straight out of the bottle is the raspberry. That's what I smelled as soon as I sprayed it and as soon as it dried down. Unfortunately, this particular raspberry note has something medicinal about it, like cold medicine, but I can get over that because it smells nice anyway! It's sweet, youthful, but not like candy and it screams "female". It's playful, and I must mention the cheerleaders in my high school wore this, if that says anything about what kind of crowd this interests. But I absolutely love it (coming from the total opposite of a cheerleader). This stuff is a little too chemical to be a 5 lipstick rating. It's lovely, though. Feathery, whimsical, and delicious. I would consider it a nice daytime winter scent. It also would seem nice on a dry summer day, but not a humid day - it would be too overpowering.

Notes as mentioned on Sephora:
Raspberry Dew, Jasmine, Bergamot, White Musk.

I get mainly raspberry and bergamot from this. If I were going to compare this to another perfume, it would be Armani Diamonds, but Hot Couture is stronger and sharper (and seems as though it inspired Diamonds, because the raspberry note is so similar! It was made before Armani Diamonds)

I just got a sample of this perfume from my mom. I applied only the tiniest amount, and at first I thought it was too mature smelling for me, and far too dense/strong. But now that it's wearing off I've forgotten I'm wearing it. I'm reminded when I catch a whiff of a subtle sweet and almost spicy scent and wonder what it is. That's how the perfect perfume should be to me, so I'll be keeping this around.

When I first bought this, I was really impressed with the light, airy smell. It didn't seem too strong, so I figured this would be a good "work" perfume Yeah.... no. This stuff is so overpowering on me, it practically permeates my cubicle. At first I figured I used too much, so the next time I just did a tiny little spritz on my wrist and rubbed them together. Didn't help. It was still so strong. The sweetness of the perfume starts to get almost nauseating after a few hours. I usually really enjoy the scent of jasmine, but that and the sweet berry (I believe raspberry) don't mix well on me. My poor cubbie neighbors were all sympathetic at least! haha. I'm going to be returning my bottle this week since I don't see this ever working with my body chemistry.

My sister wears this perfume. It is the only one she will wear, actually. And I can understand why. It smells sexy and sweet, fresh and mature all at the same time. So then I tried it. It smells similar but there is a chemical, plastic-y smell in the dry down. This doesn't work for me but I still think it's a beautiful fragrance. One of the more perfect ones I've come across.

The two adjectives I'd use to describe this fragrance are "rich" and "full-bodied" although Hot Couture isn't a foody scent at all. The raspberry note is balanced really well by the pepper so that it's neither too sweet and sharp nor too spicy. I also smell the slightest hint of some white flower underneath (probably the jasmine, though to me the scent smells more like gardenia). While this perfume isn't me, I do enjoy it and I think it's pretty unique. I'd rate this a 3 1/2.

Really enjoy this fragrance....it starts off with raspberries and dries down into a very warm sexy spicy scent. Quite womanly and sensual, in my opinion.

It's a very pleasant fragrance but without much uniqueness. I liked it more the first time I wore it. I tried it again today and I think I would only buy it if there weren't any others available and I needed one desperately. : ) Having said this I'm very picky about perfume so if I'd wear it occasionally then it's one of a very very few scents I like.

I love this perfume but I don't wear it all the time. I like to wear it when I go out but thats about the only time. I probably won't repurchase because I have enough to last me for a long time. But it smells fantastic!

The pros; I really love this fragrance. Admittedly, I have not worn it public yet, as I just got a small bottle of ebay in the mail today,, but it is an intoxicating fragrance. Not too sweet, not too spicy, and that tiny dash of pepper is always lingering obsurely in the background. On me, it is not too powerful, so I think it can be worn day or evening. My best guess so far is its ideal for casual evening or date. I just love the suble berry over a warm bed os soft floral and earthy spice. And that pepper gives it that unique and edgy flavor. It is for a woman with an offbeat or rebellious side to her.
The cons; No staying power, at least so far. I hope this changes, as I want this to be a real winner.
Update: Ok, love affair is over. While I enjoy the initial aroma, there is absolutely no staying power. In one hour, it is gone. And I am just not sure of the one's character. I will use up the 0.5 oz bottle and that will be it for this one.

I love this fragrance its one of my favourite scents of all time, its fruity (rasberry) and musky at the same time but its not a heavy scent, i love the way it develops into a warm sexy fragrance.

This is definitely a fragrance for the warmer months. I love the rasberry note. On my skin it is slightly sweet & dries down to a scent similar to cotton candy. But there is a hint of pepper in it that keeps it from becoming too foody. Thai is one of my faves for summer!

I loved this scent, not really a summer scent, only reason I wouldn't buy again is because I have so many different perfumes as is, and I am a perfume junkie, always looking what new scents are coming out. Givenchy really has so many beautiful scents, that i find it impossible to choose my favorite, but if i had to, i would pick organza, which i always do keep a bottle of. But if you havn't tried this one, give it a chance.

This fragrance is not offensive, but that's basically all I can say. It is a warm scent with a raspberry note, which you would think would make the scent unique. It really does nothing for me.
