FINALLY! NOW I KNOW WHY THIS IS ON THE EXPENSIVE SIDE! IT'S THE BEST UNDER-EYE CONCEALER I HAVE USED.
-it never gets crackly, flaky, or dry.
-the formula is sooo smooth and moisturizing
-it's waterproof, and u need to use only soo little!
-it didn't crease or fade all day!
-a bonus, it has enough pigment to even cover blemishes!
what's not to love? thumbs up lancome! (:

FINALLY an end to my life-long quest of finding an under-eye concealer that REALLY WORKS!! I will never again use another under-eye concealer as long as I can get this product!! I'm 38 and have had TERRIBLE hereditary, sun damaged & severe allergy dark eye circles since I was about 22. I've also been trying to hide them since then...with a fury. I also have excessive eye wrinkling for my age due to sun-damage and heredity. Never have I said I found a product that worked well in covering my circles & wrinkles although I feel I've "tried 'em all". ...UNTIL NOW! MY HG Under-eye concealer at last!! Never settles into lines or wrinkles, lasts all day and never cakes (unless using too much product, mixing with another product other than primer/moisturizer/SPF, or improper application). AMAZING & never before seen coverage and beautiful finish (looks more natural than any full-coverage makeup I've ever seen)!! I find that it is best to get your exact skin color in this, rather than lighter because it is so opaque that lighter will be noticeable.
MAKE SURE YOU GET THE RIGHT COLOR AND WORK ON APPLICATION TECHNIQUES UNTIL IT WORKS PERFECTLY FOR YOU. Those who say it doesn't work, I believe are not applying it correctly or have the wrong color. That's just because it works SO PERFECTLY FOR ME though :) !! First of all, too little product will result in poor coverage and to much product will create application problems. I found it tricky to apply for the first month or so of use, but figured out that moisturizing is a must because this product is quick-drying so moisturizer gives you extra time before it dries making it easier to apply. When it starts to dry STOP touching it. Wait until it dries and put another layer on, in areas that need more coverage or touching up. I find my finger is the only way to apply this concealer to my under-eyes successfully. I try to put it on in one smooth swipe across and quickly blend out until it starts drying. Then I wait until its dry and put another coat on. You can even put a 3rd and 4th coat on if you keep the coats relatively thin and don't touch it while its drying. I also find it doesn't mix well with other concealers or foundations. I only use a super-light HD powder on top of it to set it. By the end of a very long work day I still have perfect coverage but may have the SLIGHTEST (less than any other concealer I've ever tried) creases under my eyes which are easily smoothed over to the former perfect finish...first smooth it over with JUST a finger and then with a touch of HD powder applied with a finger. I never touch it up during the day and only need to do "the smoothing" if I'm going out after work.

This concealer is really the best I've tried. It goes on so creamy under the eye!! I couldn't believe what I was seeing when I first tried it at Sephora. Usually a concealer looks very dry under my eyes but this one is dewy and creamy. It is waterproof and has great staying power. Try it....you will definitely not be dissapointed.

I bought this 2 weeks ago. I have been using Benefit Erase Paste, and based on some MUA reviews, decided to try this to compliment my new purchase of Mac F&B. I LOVE it!! It comes in a tube, so the control you have over the amount is PERFECT. You do not require a ton of product, so although it is pricey, I can see this will last me for a long time so I don't mind. Digging Erase Paste of of the little pot always stressed me out (I lost the tiny spatula that came with it) as it gets under my nail...(ewwww...gross). This is a great smooth formula, that does not cake or gather in my fine lines under my eyes (41 will do that to you ladies). Also, I like to use a tiny bit on my lids...in addition to my TFSI it lightens and brightens my lids for better shadow colour. The coverage lasts all day, even when my foundation seems to have reached it's limit at the end of a long work day, the skin under my eyes still looks nice with no darkness or wear out. It is worth a try ladies!

Not worth it for the price, I don's see much under eye coverage. Very liquid. Mac corrector is much better.

This is hands down the best concealer I ve ever came across and god knows I came across soooo many Lol.
I have dark circles and puffiness, thanks to my genetics, my dark circles could be covered just with a foundation but puffiness was a HUGE problem for me, no matter how many hours I slept and how much makeup I put as soon as walked in my work I would hear things like Oh you look tired!!! I hated those comments especially when I had a full night sleep and felt rested, so I started looking for a concealer that not only will hide my dark circles but brightens to help lessen the bags appearance.
This concealer does exactly what I was looking for as soon as you put you notive a big difference it really brightens th eye really well, the coverge is medium to full, the best thing about it it doesnt cake, I woulnt know about fine lines cause I dont have any yet, its waterproof and stays put all day even when Im sweating buckets.
Also its not drying although it tends to be less brightening at the end of the day but it definitly does not dry out.
I have a nice fair olive skin that i unfortunetly could not let breath without foundation because of the dark circles and bag with this concealer I can finally put just a moisturizing creme and walk without make up with my head high :) love it love it. HG for me I even bought a second tube ''in case'' ...

I've been using this for years, then tucking it away to try the next best thing. Then ultimately coming back to it begging for forgiveness! I was hooked on Bobbi Brown for so long, then recently while on vacation, I had to use my magnifying mirror x20 to put on my makeup and nearly vapor-locked. ICK! That's all I can say. It was so bunched up and made little bumps under my skin because it's way to thick. Nothing I could do now since I had with me what I was going to use until I returned home. I'll have a cocktail and forget about it. UNTIL.... I was strolling through Ceasar's Palace in Las Vegas and the Premier skin care SA approached me and asked if he could apply some collegan around my eyes. UGH! Did he have to go there? Anyway, I'm back Lancome - for good. You stay on through thick and thin. You act as a shadow primer. You never bunch. You never crease above or below. You smooth everything out. I love you!

I've been using this product for years and I love it. It's the only concealer that I can use that doesn't make the tiny lines around my eyes more visible. Plus it's truly waterproof. The past few years though I have been noticed that it just hasn't been working the way it used to. I wondered if they changed the formula - but no; it's ME changing. I'm getting not only the discoloration under the eye but the puffiness that comes with being in my mid-fifties. I recently heard the cover-up remedy for this is to get a cover pencil that is made for this problem and literally draw it over the line of the "bag". I haven't found the pencil yet, but when I do I will re-post.

This product is meant for small blemishes there and there. I do apply this with my ring finger under my eyes and blend it up on my eyelids, it doesn't give a full coverage but I do put some foundation powder on my face including my eyes and it looks flawless. It's a great product, but for a high end department, not so much. I like it because it's liquid, instead of cream. Cream concealers tend to crease and settle in lines making it noticeable you are wearing makeup.

I have been using this concealer for many years in the shade 02 - Beige Sable. It is perfect for brightening the whole eye area, especially concealing dark circles. The consistency is perfect, not too liquid like many other I have tried, and it lasts the whole day. I also use it to cover up spots as it makes them vanish completely! Even though it is pricey, the tube lasts a very long time.
A perfect multi-purpose concealer in my opinion!

This is a good concealer.... Not a miracle product though, but still worth the price and it last pretty long!
Pro:
- Waterproof definitely help the concealer stay on my skin LONGER then those none-waterproof one.
- Very good shade selection, Clair II work nice on my undereye area.
- Good Texture, creamy, rich yet easy to blend.
- Price is acceptible for a department store brand! Not cheap but not expensive! (It was $29CND, but Lancome is nortoriously known to be raising price each year, its $32CND atm!)
- The product is market as "Undereye concealer" but you can definitely use it on your acne or blemish area.
Con:
- This still settle into fine-lines... but then again, many other high-end concealers has the same issue.
Overall I'll rate it a 4.5 if I have the option. But in comparsion for many other eye-concealers, this is so far the best! I'm on my 4th tube now! Will definitely repurchase.

I don't think this concealer is worth the cost at all. It does settle into fine lines around your eyes very quickly, and by the end of the day seems to have basically disappeared. I will say that the tube packaging and the amount you use mean it will last you a long time, but it is no miracle worker. I bought it as I struggle finding shades light enough for my skintone, but if that is not an issue for you I would encourage you to look elsewhere.

I only use this to conceal under my eyes, and I LOVE it!
It doesn't look cakey, which is my problem with any other conceal I've tried, and it lasts as long as I need it to.
I have it in Porcelain, which is a few shades too light for me, but if I put it on before my foundation it brightens and conceals perfectly, I'm so glad I found this!

This is my concealer. I found it on my own, before I discovered MUA! I actually really like it. I have awful awful creases under my giant eyes so I don't use this alone. I apply a good amount of this over my dark circles and top it off with a thin layer of powder using my fingers. I also use it all over my face! It definitely isn't completely opaque on the rest of my face, but it does the trick in evening out skin tone and hiding zits and filling in minor wrinkles. I keep buying it so it's definitely good. I'd be willing to try other concealers but this one is too good to send me searching.

Like many others on the MakeupAlley site, I bought this product based on the positive reviews I read. Unfortunately it did not live up to its expectations. I guess if you're young and don't have bad genetics then it's fine but for anyone over 40 with genetically dark circles (or who gets very little sleep), this product isn't a magic worker.
It is expensive but most department store products are. The sales woman tried to talk me out of the waterproof version but after she applied the waterproof and the non-waterproof, it was obvious the porcelaine/ivory of the waterproof was a much better match and the non-waterproof version showed a ton of wrinkles I didn't even know I had.
At first I was impressed because it brightened the area under my eyes, but like others have said that didn't last long. And the true test is what your eyes look like in photos. Sadly, this concealer didn't make my eyes look any better than drugstore concealer.
I'll most likely be returning this product because for the price, it just doesn't live up to its expectations.

This was a pricey purchase for the quantity I received in return, but I absolutely LOVE this concealer, granted, it's only the second one I've tried. I liked my very first concealer, but I found that when I applied it to my under eye circles it creased terribly. So after a year, I decided to blow some money on the Lancome concealer, and I've got to say, I don't regret it! It works so well for me, and the formula isn't as drying as my old Lise Watier concealer, so it doesn't crease on me at all :). I'd definitely buy this again, but i'll still be on the lookout for other concealers.

I was really excited when I purchase this product as my undereye concealer, but I don't know if I got a shade too light that it doesn't do anything to conceal my dark circle, well maybe a little, but not as good as an underye concealer could be in my experience. I have dry skin, and without extensive eye cream underneath, it's kinda blotchy and "enhance" my pores than normal, which is my personal disappointment.
On the waterproof note, it is definitely waterproof. I attempted to wash my face with a non-make-up-removal cleanser, and it's still there.
As a concealer for blemishes, around the nose, and dark areas, it works great. A tiny amount goes a long way, and I don't see how I can finish a whole tube if I can't use this as an undereye thing. :|

This stuff is awesome. I have tried so so many concealers over the years and this one is just top notch. It just does not crease. I love it! You hardly need to use any at all. So even though it's a bit on the expensive side, it lasts forever.
I got it in shade Clair II and it's perfect for me. I'm darker than NW15 but less pink than NW20. I use it on my spots too and it works great for that as well.

I have been using this for about 5-6 months now. I have to say it lasts a really long time. I paid about $30 which I cringed at, but i've been using it everyday and it's still halfway full. I get dark abnoxious undereye circles and since I've started college they've gotten so visible from lack of sleep, stress, not eating healthy and everything else that causes under eye circles have contributed to the darkness under my eyes. This product worked well when my circles were at their normal darkness, but now I'm not as satisfied as I once was. I like how it goes on and turns matte-powdery-like but it just doesn't do the job to my satisfaction. My darkness definitely improves when I have it on rather than when I don't have it on. I give it about a 3.5 and on my good days a 4. I will be looking for something that can conceal them 100%.
I am using Lancome Effacernes Waterproof in Medium Bisque.
