Excellent stuff. Magnetism is one of those scents that draws you in closer. Whenever I wear this, I keep sniffing around because something smells so wonderful, only to remember it's ME! It's sexy and playful, yet refined and classy at the same time. According to Sephora, the notes are as follows: "Leafy Greens, Basil, Freesia, Black Currant, Plumberry, Jasmine, Immortelle, Muguet, Blond Woods, Iris, Almond Blossom, Amber, Musk, Cashmere Vanilla, Sandalwood". It starts of on a slightly sweet/green note, but then quickly warms up to this beautiful sweet scent that just gets better with time. It has great sillage and lasting power, too! The bottle is interesting, but it suits the scent very well. It's on the pricey side, but I just got the gift set (1.7 oz. EDP, lotion, and shower gel) for $60 at Macy's. I would recommend this as a 'going out' scent.

My daughter wears this and she smells so warm and sweet and cuddly in it...and yet a little womanly too at the age of 16. It reminds her of her other favorite ~out of 50 favorites~ called Pink Sugar. This is more substantial than Pink Sugar though. This has a better range of notes with that green note in the start or middle. It's not my thing, but it's a 3 for bringing joy to her nose.

Sorry, but this smells nothing like Aquolina's Pink Sugar. I bought this based on the reviews here, and because Pink Sugar is my signature scent. Imagine my disappointment when I sprayed it and started smelling Lolita Lempicka. It's not an offensive fragrance, hence my decent rating, but to my olfactory senses, I detect no gourmand quality to this at all.

Smells like cotton candy and this scent lasts for a long time. Smells like Britney Spears Fantasy but even better!

Escada Magnetism is just that! This was recommended to me and I love it! A sweet light vanilla, almond blossom scent without being overpowering or cloying. Very sensual, very feminine. The first time I wore this a male co-worker I was sitting next to at a staff meeting commented that I smelled wonderful and asked if I was I wearing perfume. Always try on your skin before you buy but if it works with your chemistry I think your mate will love it! Pretty bottle but make sure you set it down securely because it has a tendency to fall over.

My boyfriend loves this scent. Magnetism is an extremely sweet (almost too sweet), fruity and feminine fragrance - I fell in love with it at first scent and although it's not my signature scent, I use it when i'm feeling extra girly.

I am going to preface this review by saying that fragrance is personal and has a lot to do with chemistry, but for me, this fragrance definitely works. There is berry, vanilla and something that smells just a little floral to me. I get compliments every time that I wear it (I wait tables and I have had men, women, couples and children comment on how much they like this perfume!). Definitely something that I will repurchase over and over again.

Magnetism is sexy but subtle; modern, complex, a great fall scent. It's a little like Pink Sugar, but much sexier and more mature. There's a bit of a peppery aroma that accompanies the topnotes, then it dries down to cotton candy vanilla sex appeal. And for anyone who is interested, men love this. INGREDIENTS: Leafy greens, basil, freesia, black currant, plumberry, jasmine, immortelle, lily of the valley, blond woods, iris, almond blossom, amber, musk, cashmere vanilla, sandalwood

Mmmmmm Just another perfume to add to my list of favorites. I definatly agree with the other reviewers that say it smells like a more "mature" version of Aquolina's Pink Sugar. I definatly like this alot, the other day I sprayed this on a sample card and stuck it in my purse and the next day I opened my purse and I kept getting this really nice smell and I noticed it was the Magnetism!

I sprayed this on when I went to Sephora last week, and my first thought was "yuck!". It smelled overwhelmingly like evergreen trees. The next day, I was driving to work and my nose kept picking up this scent. Apparently I got gotten some of the spray on my jacket and I just kept smelling it over and over. I went back to the store, sprayed it again, and walked around for a bit. WOW. When this stuff dries on me, it is simply amazing. The first few minutes it does not smell very good, but after about 5 minutes it is truly sensuous. It is very exotic, slightly amber, with light hints of vanilla. My husband loved it. After work he kissed me and sniffed my neck and said "OMG you smell amazing what IS that?". LOL....SOLD!

I am not exactly sure how to describe this. It's unique. Sweet yet not overwhelming or..rather..it's..more mature than fragrances like Fantasy. Sexy. I am in love with this scent. It's definitely my new signature fragrance.

I got the Escada Body Lotion, as I like to wear the lotions to work so as not to bother people, if they don't like them. Well, I put this on after my shower, and oh my gosh! It smells like bug spray ... at least on me! I couldn't stand it! I didn't want to reshower, so I "diluted" it with Vaseline Body Lotion, slathering that right over it. I can still smell it but not as much. This is nasty, at least on me. abby

Ugh. I smelled this in Sephora. I was so exicted to try this, with promise of sweet smells. Where are the sweet smells, I ask?? All I got out of this was leafy greens. I was very turned off by this scent. I looked at my SO when I tried this, and he said, "You smell like cloves." Yeah, definitely not the reaction I was looking for. Needless to say, this got placed back on the shelf, and SO bought a CSP for me for Christmas. I am sure this works on many people, but with my chemistry, this was such a fowl fragrance. BTW: I gave this two lippies b/c I didn't want to bring down the rating too much, as I am in the minority for disliking it.

Well, Magnetism is a testimony to the fact that not all fragrances are big... Better still, that not all fragrances need to be big to please that little devil inside that wants to take pleasure in what I put on. The first time I sniffed this, I sniffed too closely. The impression it left was that of an overwhelming dry sweetness with a green twist. These days when I wear Magnetism, I keep my nose in the air where it belongs. On me, this smells like sugar on fresh blueberry leaves. Yes. That fruit salad with blackberries and sugar topping that you really couldn’t eat sitting at the table outside in the flower garden, because bees would hunt you down – and yet you did. Back then, when you didn’t care about foolish fragrance bottles tipping over...or the drydown being awkward sometimes... I like to wear this in spring and fall.

I remember going around the perfume shop, looking for something fruity. The wonderful French man working the counter said he did not like this one, it was too fruity. But I bought it anyways, and it grew on me. This is now my signature fragrance.
On initial spray the green leaf smell is pretty strong, but it folds into a slightly woodsy, slightly citrusy scent. Then sweet fruit tinges over warm vanilla with a patcholi base. At times, it almost seems to smell slightly praline with caramel, but this is only when you really concentrate and really inhale.
It takes a while for the green scent to fade, but once it is over it is a lightly heavy fragrance of intrigue, confidence, and utter sensuality.
The bottle is kind of obnoxious with its narrow base, so I like to keep it propped up against something. It is super pretty fuschia with elegant angles, so I do not mind keeping it on my shelf.
Bravo Escada, for such a wonderful perfume.

I don't really smell cotton candy, but whatever it is in this perfume, I love it. It is very sophisticated smelling, and I think that it's a super product!

This one is very very similar to Emporio Night by Armani, I took one lippie away because of this fact. The scent is nice, sweet, but very unoriginal, something like Light Blue by D&G.

Escada! Why do your products hate me so? This product, like every other Escada perfume I've ever tried, has one of two reactions on my skin: it smells close to the actual fragrance in the bottle; it smells like some god-awful musky, dank, dusty, sugared coconut-sitting-in-the-gutter odor and makes me sneeze and cough relentlessly, which is followed by moderate nasal congestion for a day. Fortunately, when this one does work, it has a lot more staying power than Island Kiss or Rockin' Rio. I also like the fruity, warm, spicy vanilla scent this one transforms into on my skin. I wish the vanilla part was more pronounced, though, or maybe it's just the way it responds on my skin. I have to make sure not to spray too much of this, though, as it tends to bother my allergies and start smelling weird if I do. I haven't tried using this one in my hair, but I assume it'll have a more consistent smell this way than on my skin. I absolutely love this bottle--it's sleek and sophisticated without being inaccessible, just like the perfume when it doesn't make my nose shut down. Like other Escada scents, I refuse to pay full price for it, as I just can't guarantee how it'll smell on me and how it'll make me feel. I give it four stars, though, because it's one of the few vanilla scents I've found that doesn't smell overly sweet, fake and chemically to me.

I'll tell you exactly what escada magnetism smells like:
cotton candy, baby powder & musk.

I like it okay. It doesn't gross me out & I'd wear it, but I wouldn't buy it.
