Theres a trick to this... it should be easier but I can't find a eye m/u remover that removes my stubborn waterproof mascara. Anyways, when I wash my face at night I just pour a couple drops of this on my hands and work it into my eyelashes, and then washe it off. It stays super oily, so I then wash my eyes with Johnson and Johnson baby shampoo (which is the mu remover i use for my regular mascara) and it takes everything off. Could be too many steps, but it works for me =)

it did remove the makeup, but not 100%,and it's super oily.my vision is super blurry for at least an hour after using this one.i mean super super super blurry....not worth buying AT ALL!!!!!!!

My mom used this as far back as I can remember. I really like how it cleans off the most stubborn eyeliner! I've ventured off to explore and try out other removers but always come back to this one. The only bad thing is that it leaves behind a greasy residue. But you can just pat lightly with a tissue. No big deal. Price is good, easy to find and purchase, does it's job well. No complaints here!

Got this as a freebie with some mascara...I threw it away, it made my eyes burn so bad!
Age: 25-29 Skin: Dry Hair: Black, Straight, Coarse Eyes: Brown
I'm satisfied with the results delivered by this eye makeup remover. I don't mind that its oily because it moisturizes my eye area.

Hate. Took so long to remove my w/p mascara. On top of that, made my eyelids dry and really irritated my eyes. Throwing out.

Greasy to the extreme, ineffective, and generally exasperating. Couldn't wait to throw it out.

Bought this on a special that was 2 for 1. Not impressed, very greasy and just average at removing eye makeup, have to work at it to remove all of it. I much prefer Lancome Bi-Facial Eye Makeup Remover (pricey, but so effective).

As pointed out below this is mineral oil packaged by Maybelline as "Moisturizing Mascara Remover", that is why I rated it as a 5-very expensive. This stuff makes my vision so burry after use and the greasy feeling afterwards is just exasperating. Don't waste your money or eyes/skin around your eyes on this product.

Does an ok job at removing waterproof makeup but way too greasy. The greasiness will keep me from repurchasing again.
Age: 19-24 Skin: Combination Hair: Black Eyes: Brown
Excellent at removing all my eye make up (esp my stubbon Max Factor waterproof mascara). Since its oil based I find it moisturising even after I cleansed my whole face. Its cheap and it works. My only gripe is that the bottle is not spill-proof as I have accidently kocked it over a few times and spilling my precious remover.

Just started wearing waterproof mascara for the first time in my life, and I happened to pick up this eye makeup remover b/c it was the same brand as the mascara...hmm, seems like a BIG mistake now. I have to use like 4 pieces of tissue paper and many, many swipes with it to get most of the mascara off...and I don't get all of it off b/c I noticed that I was losing eyelashes when I rubbed too hard. Oh well...live and learn.

Sneaky sneaky Maybelline...let's see: $3CDN for a 20oz/600ml bottle of mineral oil or $5CDN for 2.5oz/60ml of this. It is the same thing. Ok, so this is a little thicker but really, a dab of mineral oil (even baby oil if you don't have skin that's sensitive to fragrance) will do the trick for MUCH cheaper.

This product removes make up pretty good. But there are a lot of cons to it.
1)It super greesy.(Once I spilled a little on the floor,I wiped it up, I was about to leave the bathroom and all of sudden I slipped and fell on the spot even after i wiped it up!)Yuck! Kinda funny though :)
2)If you get any in your eye it blurs your vision a bit and gets really annoying.
3)You basicly have to wash around your eyes with soap after because the oil sticks to you.
4)After using it your eyes burn a bit. Depending on how sensitive your eyes are I guess. Because that doesn't really bother me but my friends eyes start to water after it burns so bad.
Next time I need new eye makeup remover, I'm definately getting something with more quality than this. But If your good at keeping things out of your eyes, i suggest this.

This stuff is elle-garbago. I wanted a cheap eye makeup remover and that's what i got. I love the reviews for this product because everyone has hit the nail on the head with this product.

Oh my virgin eyes....This bottle of super super super greasy oil (vegetable oil could probably do better) did nothing to remove eye makeup, and instead burned and stung my eyes.
My thought process while using this product:
Tip the oil out of the bottle onto a tissue....hmm, the tissue seems dry...let's add some more...oh, there we go...now the tissue is damp...ok, press against eyes and wait 5 seconds like it says on the package....OWWWWWWWWWWW.....it burns it burns!
*Runs to bathroom and tries to wash it off*
After running my eyes under cool water, I looked in the mirror and they were irritated and red, and appeared to have some sort of flim left over by this product. In addition, my eyes and the skin around them burned badly for hours afterward.
My advice is to steer clear of this product if you care for the well being of your eyes.

This is pretty cheap at $5-8CDN, but this time I got what I paid for. The product is SUPER greasy and makes me feel like I'm using vaseline (which would have done the same job, most likely). It removes regular makeup fairly well but does a BAD job on its own product, Maybelline waterproof eyeliner! Also, as someone else mentioned, it blurred my eyes a bit when I accidently got it in there, unlike Lancome's. There is a bit of oil seeping through the cap, so I'm giving the packaging only a 3 because that could cause a LOT of trouble in a purse. Will not buy this again. I think I'll spend a little more money for something so near to the eye!

I've gone through about 4 bottles of this so far. It's a good remover for the price... gets rid of any waterproof mascara easily and without tugging (you do need to put a little bit on your lashes and let it do its job before you wipe though).
The oiliness isn't exactly pleasant but it's not that big a deal because I always wash my face after I remove the make-up.

I bought this even after I read the negative reviews - as far as I know, this is the only one that is supposed to "completely remove" waterproof makeup (out of all Maybelline ones), and I've read other reviews saying that unless the remover is the brand of the eye makeup you're using, it probably will not remove any of it.
So, I bought it anyway. The price was not bad, only around $5 CDN after taxes.
As the other reviews said, it was quite greasy, but it did remove my Full 'N Soft waterproof mascara and my Great Wear eyeliner. I had to put some on with a cotton swab, and wipe it off with a tissue.
It took me 2-3 put on and wipe offs until everything was removed (I use the darkest eyeliner and mascara, so it's pretty reasonable)
I find that the oily residue wasn't much of a problem, because I use a facial cleanser every night and if I use it and warm water to wash my face, there is no more oily stuff on my lids.
If I don't, however, my eyes start to itch and I can get blurry vision. This was quite cheap, and was quite effective, so 3/5 is reasonable.

I thought I'd try this because I ran out of my reg. eye makeup remover and it was cheap. It's supposed to be made for waterproof eye makeup; but I find myself tugging trying to take off non w/p eye makeup. And I have to fill 4 jumbo cotton balls back and front to get all of my eye m/u off. No reason to buy this again.
