Omppa Lommpa Dopa Dee Do I looked orange it was very true! I used this bronzer for about 3 years while in highschool, looking back I am like WTF? I looked ORANGE. This def. was not the color for me. I need more of a cool toned broner because my skintone is so yellow. I wish somebody would have told me I looked like a freak. I can barely look at old picutres of myself without gagging. Why did I think I looked good? This would be a good bronzer for somebody with darker skin, but on my NC30 skintone this is horrible!

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this bronzer. I have tried quite a few as I am a fairly pale, blond haired girl who needs a good bronzer daily to give a warmth and a glow. Overall, this is and the Golden are the best bronzers I have used. A little goes a long way and just a few strokes over my whole face with a fat loose brush and perfect- a sunkissed look! The real proof was in photos I still looked like I had bronzer on the face! :)

i have been debating about using a bronzer. did it really show or matter? and so i did it, i had a MA show me and bought it. i didnt pay attention to how much she used so i went back and asked. theyre always so nice at the counter in the store. anyways, i think i really like it. i havent compared myself in pictures, but i feel like it looks better. i look better. just another thing to add to my routine, but i like it and its fun! i blends well and is easy to use, since im a beginner! im glad i finally did it!

after i bought this i actually came very close to not buying again ANY powder-blush-bronzer-foundation from my local MAC store and this is all about the lighting in there!! colours get sooo twisted i end up with almost a different product when i get home!!!
Anyway...never buying this one too. it's an ok bronzer overall, good quality aand pigmentation but it's more suitable for tanned skin. on me it shows up too orangey! and it looked sooo great in the store...

i've had this product since last november and i ca't believe i haven't posted a review on this yet! first glance, refined golden looks very dark and muddy. when i got my make up done in the pro store in vegas, i was surprised the ma used this on me! i looked in the mirror and my face looked glowing! (nc40 for reference) i knew i had to purchase is right then and there! though it does look dark, it goes on very sheer and is buildable.
i'm such a bronzer junkie (my HGs are bronzey and peachy colors) and i've tried many products from brands such as nars, cargo, and too faced.
from the other bronzers i own, this definietely falls into the more brown category, rather than orange or peach.
a couple of other favorite bronzers of mine are too faced california in a compact (looks brown but turns into a light brown/peachy glow on me) and mac dark msf natural powder (which looks kinda orange if you apply heavily but looks fantastic using a light hand).
though i do use refined golden almost every day just to give my complexion more warm, i don't consider it my HG, but it is somewhere up there. i'm still searching for my HG bronzer that is not too orange or brown, blends well, and gives a glow from within!

This is my staple travel bronzer. It does have shimmer in it. I like how it can be natural with a light hand, and you can layer it on for a more tanned look. I use this as a contour as well for my face and body as well. It has decent lasting power and does not look too orange or fake on my skin. I am NC25-30 with olive toned skin. I would probably buy again but next time I may try something more finely milled w/ less shimmer.

This is one of my favorite products! I am a NC35-40 and it goes very well on me! You have to know how to put it in on or it can tend to look a little bit muddy. During the winter when everyone tends to get a little bit paler this makes me look perfect!
UPDATE:
I don't care for this anymore really and I noticed when I looked in the mirror in the sun sometimes it looks orange, but it was only once. I still think it looks nice.

I also recieved this with my graphblack eyeliner. It gives the same warm glow to your cheeks, never had a problem looking orange(= One other thing, I was using the NARS bronzer and the packaging was HORRIBLE! A complete nightmare. There was bronzer streaks all over the packaging. I barely touched the outside. But anyway, this bronzer is amazing, and its worth giving a shot!

This is a very dramatic, high impact bronzer. You definitely have to use a light hand, or else you can end up with muddy cheeks. I think it has the most shimmer out of any of the other MAC bronzers, but when you put it on the shimmer is not at all overwhelming. It is quite dark though. Packaging is cute. Good value for the price. This just works best for me in the summer to accentuate my natural tan, but in the winter its a bit too much. will repurchase though, if i don't find anything better in my endless search for the perfect bronzer

absolutely love this bronzer. i am NC20~25 skin tone. this bronzer doesnt leave my skin looked burned or orange. i use it as a cheek contour. it does contain golden sparkles. i have used
NARS laguana(powder is pressed too firm), MAC matt blush(streaks) nothing beats this product. glides on smoothly.

Just OK. Nothing special about this bronzer (to me, anyway). I also find it sort of orange-y on me.

Hands down the most beautiful bronze color I've tried yet, even more so than my beloved NARS bronzer (gasp)! Gives a beautiful healthy glow with a slight shimmer, I'm in love...

I went to the Mac counter about a few months ago and told her I was looking for a new bronzer, and she directed me to refined golden. I however, have many other friend of different skin tones, and found that they all have the same bronzer! I thought this was kinda ridiculous, because I dont think the shade is that versitle. I have fair to tan skin, but this bronzer just look muddy on me, I dont really if maybe Im applying too much, but i dont I take a brush and tap some color on and it just look bad, and especially enchances a breakout or too. I would probably use this during summer but I prefer my Physicias Forumula bronzer over this anyday!

Pretty pretty pretty.
Highlights my face and keeps me from looking dead without my tan in the winter, yet still matches when I acquire a nice glowing sheen of natural bronze in a warmer climate. I think it's the barely-there sparkles that work its magic.
I found it super easy to apply with a light hand. I used to use a bronzy MAC blush as bronzer, which was easy to go overboard with, but this one is perfect when I lightly tap the bronzer with my brush, wave it in the air, then tap it across my cheekbones above my blush, on my forehead, and down the contours of my nose.
I haven't noticed that it's too sparkly at all. It's a subtle, underhanded highlight, really. I liked it better than the dull NARS colour that I tried before this one at the makeup counter.

I have a few of these. Because I LOVED IT, so I bought back-ups. OMG in the sun my face looks soooo sparkly. In my bedroom I couldn't tell. It's pretty bad when youre in the sun. Otherwise I like the color.

I really like this bronzer. I find it to be a flattering colour that suit a lot of skintones. It is easy to layer to amp up your look or you can just add a light layer for an everyday look. The sparkles in it are very fine, just a hint of sparkle on your face...doesn't make you look crazy like a lot of other bronzers can.

I'm an NC25-30 and just love the colour of this bronzer. It's perfect for my skin tone, highly pigmented and has just the right amount of shimmer (for me). The powder feels really soft and blends well into my skin. It's definately not the cheapest bronzer on the market but it's a good size and you don't need to use much. I will definitely buy this again.

MAC Bronzers are actually really good, but this one wasn't for me. I have no idea why someone would recommend this for fair skin. As far as product quality, it's just fine. I have to say that it's probably meant for someone who's a few shades deeper than I am, because if you're fair, I wouldn't say it's for you. That being said, if you're a bit more medium-toned, I'd say it'd be just fine.
I'm not a fan of how obvious the sheen of it is, though.
The color is okay, the price is reasonable, and it does exactly what it's supposed to. I just don't think it's for me.
