I have baby fine, thin hair and this is about the only product that gives me texture without being too heavy, stiff, or sticky. I love that you can spray it right where you want it on your hair instead of trying to spread a big poofy ball of mousse evenly on your hair. I've tried a gazillion of volumizing products, but come right back to my good 'ole Guts every time. I've been using this on top of Bedhead Superstar lately and it works great! I spray for 2-3 seconds all over the crown, rub it in a little to distribute (a must), then comb it through. My only gripe is that if I use too much and it gets on my ends it makes my hair look fried.

I absolutely love Guts! It's great for my fine hair, wet or dry. Nothing gives me volume like this product. I would only like it to be a little less expensive, but overall it really is worth the price.

I love, love, love this product! This is just what my hair needed...guts. I bought it after reading reviews on MUA. Thanks tons! I have fine, short hair and this really plumps it up and makes it DO. The spray mousse thing takes a while to get used to. I was spraying it in my palm and then putting it in my hair, just like regular mousse but it looses something when I do it that way. So finally I gave in, spraying it directly on my hair and it works just like it is supposed to. Plus, my hands stay un-sticky.
UPDATE: Nope, over time it was too hard to apply the proper amount with the silly hairspray-like nozzle. I like Sebastian Fizz XL mousse much better, it has a regular push button mousse dispenser. Demoted Guts.

Excellent stuff for volume, although not too keen on the whole spraying everywhere effect. Seems like I'm stuck in a blizzard. Makes my hair flip when its supposed to and stays that way with minimal hairspray necessary. All in all, good product!

When my old stylist used this the first time and recommended it I was a little unsure cause it seemed like something I wouldn't have time to fuss with, but oh she was right. It gives my thick hair lift and the smell is pleasant. I only wish it came in a smaller size, but I'll keep buying it as it is. Totally worth the money.

I have fine FINE hair. So fine that hairdresses exclaim, "Wow I've never seen such fine hair" This product is the best volumizing product I have ever used so far. I love how it sprays out and you dont have to put it in your hands. It's never sticky or crunchy and gives me the root boost I craved. No more flat, limp hair for me. No siree bob!

A stylist recommended this for my hair. Wow, what a difference it makes. Great product. I've had it for quite a while but I'll repurchase when I run out.
Updated: the honeymoon didn't last long. I'd rather use other products that are just as good but don't smell funny.

I just use like 3-4 sprays of this at my roots while hair is wet. I spray it in "bands" like straight lines across my scalp. It gives my hair the lift I want at the crown and lasts all day - I ADORE this stuff!

This is my FAVE styling product- sprays right into the roots, no need to get sticky hands. Excellent lift with medium hold.

My hair has a good amount of body, but I recieved Redken Guts as a gift and decided to try it out. It didn't really seem to make a huge diffence in my hair, and I actually think it weighed it down! MY best friend with very fine hair (who I gave this too) swears by it though!

This is a great volumizing product. You spray directly at the roots. My hair oomps big time with this! Great product overall, and a staple in my styling line up.

I really wanted this to work for me since I need volume at the roots for my long thick hair. But it didn't do a darn thing. In fact, it made my hair hard and crusty. *sigh*

Aptly named, this is a phenom product for adding volume! It does not get sticky or thick and leaves your hair touchable.
