It's been a long time since I've found a foundation that i actually like. This one is my recent favorite from all that I've tried, and I've tried many. My skin is oily but a few areas on my cheeks are dry. This foundation controls oiliness and doesn't accentuate the dry areas if I put moisturizer underneath those parts. The finish is amazingly natural for the amount of coverage it can provide and I found the most gorgeous colour match ever in nude, two of my main considerations. I love the pump bottle because unlike most others, it does not squirt out a whole bunch of product out that will go to waste. The foundation itself is nice and creamy which I prefer as I don't like liquidy foundations that drip all over. This foundation truly stays on all day, which leads me to its only negative. It doesn't come off easily when I wash my face. Nonetheless, I would keep buying this product until I find a better one for my difficult skin.

I've always pretty much been anti-liquid foundation, but this one does work for my oily/acne-prone skin. I usually wear powder foundation b/c liquids feel too heavy/mask-like or they turn my face into an oil slick after a couple of hours of wearing. I use this foundation pretty much as a concealer, but it does go on incredibly smooth and it blends in with my skin like I'm not wearing anything at all! I never feel like I'm wearing a lot of makeup on my face when I wear this, and it doesn't make my skin overly oily:) I use this under my powder foundation when I want more coverage or just by itself as a concealer on my more natural days. I work 12hr shifts, and it stays put most of the day with a few touch-ups of powder on top of it. I have natural beige, and it suits my NC30 skintone well. I could probably wear the next lightest shade, too, in the wintertime. I love the pump on the bottle,too..makes application less messy and more sanitary.

I have been using ColorStay Stay Natural in Buff Chamois for a few years now, and it is my HG foundation. I like it better than the higher-end foundations I've tried, including Lancome Adaptive. This foundation covers both my hyperpigmentation/melasma and red spots from acne, provides sun protection with SPF 15, and stays put for many hours. I have, however, noticed that as I've gotten older and less oily, this foundation seems to be a bit heavy and mask-like on me. I plan to check out some of the mineral makeup lines but will continue to use this foundation until finding a suitable alternative.

This is really a wonderful low-end foundation. It looks very natural and leaves your skin matte. Although it doesn’t do much for oil control (not many foundations do), I can live with that. People always tell me that I have great skin and when I tell them that it’s the foundation that I wear, most didn’t even realize that I was wearing foundation! And that, obviously, is a VERY good thing.

I'm the cosmetic junkie who can go from high end (hello, Cle de Peau) to drugstore (where's that Bonne Bell lipsmacker in Dr. Pepper?) in 0 seconds flat. I'm still incredibly particular about my foundation choices, and after alternating between Lauder (Double Wear in Fresco) and Chanel (Double Perfection Creme Poudre in Shell) for some time, I still wasn't entirely happy about the color match (I'm between NC25 and NC30). I'd used the original Colorstay years ago, and although I hated the texture (too thick and goopy and cakey), I was very satisfied with the color - Buff. So after reading some reviews, I thought I had nothing to lose by trying this out (although I didn't realize drugstore products had gotten as expensive as they did, $17 CDN still is a hell of a lot cheaper than that $50 Chanel), and I bought it in Buff Chamois. Goodness gracious. Not only does it stay all day (and all evening), I'm not oily or greasy, the light texture makes it feel like a second skin, as mentioned below, and the color match? Perfect, both inside and in natural light. I'm so, so, SO happy with this. And the pump dispenser is a plus, although I think it still dispenses a little too much product at once for my liking.

UPDATE: i have scrapped my entire past review to say that i am a convert!!! this foundation is my HG now and i am already on my second bottle. what's not to love? good coverage, natural finish (some friends think i have sublime skin and only have some powder on - yay!)spot-on color (medium beige for my nc30-35 skin), lasts the whole day if i need it to and a sight cheaper compared to my former MAC studio tech and laura mercier powder routine! about the gripes about difficulty taking it off, all you need is a cream-based cleanser before your usual foaming one and it goes off easily (it does leave an awful beige ring on my sink though - it's like adhesive!). the ONLY con is that it looks ghastly when photo-taking with the flash on (you end up looking like a ghoul due to the shimmer particles). but i still love you revlon!

This is one of my HG foundations! I've repurchased this so many times. Every once in a while I'm tempted to try something new but always come back to this. I have a collection of foundations sitting in a drawer that I also like, but I prefer colorstay natural. I love the texture and the near flawless coverage that this foundation gives me. It's not chalky, has never broken me out, matches my complexion well (medium beige), and definitely looks fresh on my face all day. I would pay more for this if I had to, but am glad it's so affordable. And I like the fact that it is a pump bottle. I will continue to repurchase this.

I can't believe the poor ratings that this baby has received.

This is my HG. I used a blended mixture of Colorstay Stay Natural foundation & Skinlights Illuminator and amazingly my face was still decently oil-free after 6 hours! I'm so happy. I had it for a full 10 hours earlier, and only had to touch up once! It gave my face a nice, dewy look with sheer coverage. It looks very natural, just the way I like it. I liked the shimmers tt the Skinlights gave. It's very important to remember to have well-moistured face, and apply loose powder to give it a matt look.

I bought the lightest shade for both Colorstay Stay Natural LF & Skinlights. But the former was still a little too dark for me, but thank goodness Skinlights Natural Light was a pretty light shade, and the blended mixture was a perfect match for my pale Asian skin tone.

By the way, I've very sensitive skin which's dry,red and patchy at the cheeks while my nose and forehead is a slick oil zone. And this is probably the only thing tt suits my face's condition.

It came off pretty easily with Fancl Mild Cleansing Oil.

My shade reference: medium-yellow tone, NC 35
COLOR: i chose sand beige and it was a little pinkish on my tone. I thought buff was too light for my skin tone, so i chose the next yellow shade down. it also had silver sparkles in the bottle too. I like colorstay shades better
HOW IT FEELS: i found that it goes on smooth but feels a bit greasy after a while (in less than an hour on me). does not feel too thick, but i feel that it is not good with hot, humid climates because it made me more oily. i also noticed that it made me turn darker and the color turned pink/orange (like i got sunburned) after a while.
VERDICT: after using it for two straight weeks, i felt it did not live up to the "colorstay" phenomenon. it also did not feel very natural due to the greasy feel and i had to blot throughout the day. I used this foundation on clear skin and it made me break out more. the only thing good about it was it had SPF 15 with zinc and titanium dioxide.

I am very happy with this foundation. I have tried dozens over the years, and nearly every one I've tried has broken out my very acne-prone skin. The only one I had previously found that did not break me out was Jane Stay Calm, which while dirt cheap and an unbelievably good product for the price, I still found to be a bit heavy and hard to blend. (Mixing it with moisturizer helped a lot.)

With Revlon's ColorStay Stay Natural Makeup, I think I've finally found my Holy Grail foundation! I've been using it for 3 weeks now, and it hasn't broken me out at all. In fact, my skin has cleared up measurably since I started using this.

I find it to be quite blendable, but moisturizing immediately prior to application is imperative for a nice, even blending. (It also mixes nicely with a light moisturizer to provide lighter coverage.) It gives medium coverage, and my skin looks better than it has in a long time. Even my acne scars are nicely muted. And it does deliver what it promises - It stays looking nice all day long. I do find that I need to blot my T-zone a number of times, but I have a very oily T-zone, so that's to be expected.

Another thing I've noticed is that it looks nice even without powder, and I'm a die-hard loose powder user. It doesn't make my skin feel irritated or itchy like a number of other foundations do, either. It feels natural on my skin.

I have a light, yellow-undertoned complexion, and it seems every foundation I try is too dark for me - even often the lightest shade. However, I have been using the 2nd lightest of Stay Natural - Buff - which has a bit of yellow tone, and it's perfect for me for summer. In winter, I may have to go to the lightest shade, which appears more pinky, or I might try mixing #1 and #2.

I have no trouble removing it at night with mild cleanser. The price was reasonable - right around $10 - and it doesn't take a lot of product to do the job, so it's fairly economical. The packaging is convenient and attractive, but I only gave it a 4 for package quality, because the pump tip tends to get a little messy, as the foundation "bubbles" a bit when you dispense it. It has never clogged, however.

After all the great reviews, I was hoping this would be a nice summer replacement for my Aquasmooth, which is a bit heavy in the heat. The main problem I have with this foundation is that althought it is oil free, it FEELS like grease. The coverage was average, my face was a bit mask-like. What really bothered me and I found a bit scary was how hard it was to get off. I still felt like it was on me after cleanser and toner. Water beaded up on my face long after I washed it which made me wonder about what my skin was absorbing. If that is silica, I want no part of it. Obviously will not repurchase.

This is the first foundation with a shade that matches my light Asian skin tone--buff. I have combo skin with an oily T-zone, and I only apply this product on my T-zone and under my eyes--it is very blendable. It has average oil-control properties; I have to blot a couple times a day. It provides light to medium coverage for me, especially for visible capillaries around my nose and acne scars, and it looks natural and un-made-up. And the price is reasonable too!

I love this foundation for daily use and the price also suits me.It may be average, but I think it's enough for my very oily skin and the colour blends very well with my skin tone. Plus! It won't break out for straight 16 hours.
If you have average budget, maybe this is the right choice for you.

I found this after using the last of my backstock of Revlon's Shine Control Mattifying foundation. It's heavy, but it lasts all day and doesn't break out my super oily skin. I like to blend sand beige and medium beige or wear them separately depending on my pale/tan factor. So far, the best oily skin formula with best coverage I've found. Also mixes well with St. Ive's oil free moisturizer for a lighter coverage.

This foundation is a must have for those with oily skin! It's very natural looking and the coverage can be built up from sheer (if mixed with moistuizer) to medium-full. The shade medium beige (w/yellow undertones) is a perfect match for my summer tanned skin. It feels light and breathable on my skin, even in humid weather, not heavy and suffocating. Lasted all day, kept oilies at a minimum with no blotting, and looks and feels like second skin. My HG foundation for summer!!!

I tried a sample for it and I already love it. I don't have acne anymore, just a few red marks. I have heard that it's really thick, but I didn't think it was too bad. It looked natural on my skin and didn't break me out. I usually only use almay foundation, but colorstay makeup in sand/beige is the perfect color for my skin right now. My skin didn't look oily after a few hours and it still looked good hours later. I'd definitely recommend it if you're looking for a good drugstore product. [tip: other good drugstore product-almay wake up call foundation].
