Received a sample spray in a swap. This, to me, smells exactly like VS So In Love but much better blended with less sharpness in the opening notes. Fresh soft floral, but just rubs me the wrong way. Doesn't have much lasting power either.

Elegant, pretty, subtle, clean. Lasts long in a quiet way.

If it was a garment it would be a pale colored silk dress, maybe a beige/pink, with details that are not apparent at first glance such as embroidery, gorgeous buttons, unusual stitching, and impeccable craftsmanship. The kind of garment that a person who likes to wear orange, fuschia and lime green (together) would dismiss right away without looking at or appreciating the beauty of the details. I just love it.

I think perfumes are very individual and its hard to rate perfumes. But since I do have this perfume..I'll offer my opinion. I smelled this at Sephora while searching for a new fragrance.. I loved it...asked for it for xmas last year..and got it! I got a HUGE bottle. I only use it in the evenings...but honestly..although its OK...I kinda regret asking for it. It's a little too strong. I think i'd prefer something more FRESH smelling. It was very expensive too. I'll continue using it in the evenings since I have it.

To me it smells alot like VS Heavenly with a twist. I am hoping dh likes this one a bit better. I remember when this first came out, just getting spray samples was a miracle. But this is a great classic scent IMO

So far I've got this in the powder and the lotion (thank you ebay!) and am waiting to find a deal on the perfume! This smells so good on me, and hubby loves it to boot. He usually doesn't say anything unless he doesn't like it, or starts sneezing uncontrollably, but he said something about this one! I've gotten used to buying things cheaper on ebay and hate to pay full price anymore, but he said if I don't have some by Christmas, Santa would bring me a big bottle - lol. Fortunately I love it too! The florals are wonderful, and the powdery scent it drys down to is divine.

I got a sniff of this in a magazine and I fell in love with it rightaway. Then I tried it on at a departmental store and continued to like it. It reminds me of sunny days, bright bouquets and of white weddings. It is a very luxorious fragrance and I only wear it in the evenings. Needs very little, lasts well. I have the 50ml bottle and it will last me for ages. Plus I love trying on new frgarances and its very unlikely that I will buy this again. Still a keeper for me though. Oh and I really like the bottle too, simple, yet very elegant.

I really like this perfume--I bought a bottle just before my wedding in 2002, and I'm still working through it. The scent is still great...hasn't "turned" at all. It smells florally sweet and a little powdery, and a little bit works well as a day perfume.

very floral and feminine. makes me think of a spring garden. but too strong for me to wear on a daily basis. glass bottle is very durable nearly impossible to break (i accidently dropped it once).

I love this fragrance, I actually wore it for my wedding day. It does smell like a fresh bouqet of flowers. It makes me feel super feminine and I get tons of compliments when I wear it. It can be worn for any occasion, not too heavy for daytime but at the same time not too light for the evening.

Not bad but also not that great imo. Doesn't live up to its hype as the "ultimate romantic, must-have wedding day fragrance." I find that it's just a nice, everyday perfume that ends up smelling slightly powdery.

i love the florals in this fragrance, it makes me feel really sophisticated. there is a powdery undertone to it, that can be the downfall of the scent, but overall it's a good everyday perfume.

i took off two lippies since it really has no staying power, about two hours later you forgot you even put on perfume - i also took off a lippie because a few months after i bought this one, sheer veil came out which i think i like more - i really like feminine scents

I really like the modern floral of Vera Wang's signature fragrance. It does lack in staying power, so a lippie comes off for that. Completely different from what I normally wear (Orientals are my favorite) but still makes a statement. Vera Wang smells sophisticated and classy to me, not at all cloying and sweet like many other florals. I'm not able to detect any specific notes, it is a nice meld of flowers and it smells very appealing on the dry-down with a gentle powder scent. Had I discovered it sooner, I would have worn it on my wedding day. It is a perfect "romantic bouquet" for such an occasion. It is too pricey for me to purchase myself, but I would definitely request another bottle of it as a gift when it is finished.

Oh no no no no no no..... This is not "old lady". Neither is it comparable in any way to Avon's Little Black Dress other than that they are both perfumes in bottles. I have both of these in bottles. Little Black Dress is warm and spicy with a floral center that's not very distinct and an obvious (nauseating) vanilla, ambery base. Vera Wang is a light fruity floral that's not too sweet and never ambery. There is no spice. There is no warmth. VW stays sweetly floral, really, just like a lovely bouquet. I adore Vera Wang. I loathe Little Black Dress. ...and the dear husband who generally backs away from florals simply swoons over this one. He will buy more of it for me just to smell it on me. He says it reminds him of my pure ivory skin ( I am very pale). What a darling!

The bottle looks nice but the perfume does not smell very nice.
I bought this on an impulse when I was in a hurry and I knew it was a mistake after wearing it a couple of times.
It's expensive too so it is not worth it. Smells like a cheap, old lady perfume, very dissapointing!

A sweet (initially a bit headachy) and delicate, creamy floral scent. I prefer the smell that remains afterward in the bathroom and on my clothes than the initial scent. Would repurchase if a) bottle were smaller and I wouldn't tire of it and b) it were a bit milder.

Although I like this scent, its not something I'd purchase again. It isn't especially great in any way. Be careful not to spray too much as just a tiny bit goes a LONG way. If you overspray the normally pleasant scent become overpowering and annoying for you and others. ... as for the packaging, I don't like the plastic top matched with the glass bottle. Also, my bottle leaks a bit.

My favorite fragrance ever! I always get compliments when I wear this, and I wear it almost daily! I found it to be pricey, $65 a bottle, but it seems all fragrances are about that. The glass bottle always worries me, especially when I travel, so I wrap it in a bubble envelope, and feel much better. I strongly suggest trying it if you want a feminine fragrance that is sure to have people noticing you :)

I love how this perfume smells; however, it is nothing out of the ordinary, nor does it really turn heads.

I am surprised to see how many people praise its staying power. Out of all of my perfumes, this one has the least staying power on me. I think even if I bathed in it, the scent would be gone within thirty minutes. And, yes, I layer it with the lotion--the scent just doesn't last on me at all.

This smells very feminine and is the perfect scent for a special night out to the theatre. I love how it softly lingers on my skin without being too strong. I can't put my finger on exactly what notes are in it, but I know I absolutely love it!
