LOVE LOVE LOVE this. The reviewers saying it is "cheap smelling" is just a testament to how much a fragrance can change depending on your body chemistry. This fragrance is floral with fruity notes, it's nice and crisp yet mature at the same time. I reach for this bottle every day and am absolutely in love. If you're the kind of person who finds many perfumes too musky and floral, this is the scent for you. Doesn't contain that overwhelming musk smell that so many perfumes are plagued with. However, I am willing to acknowledge that the other reviewers may be onto something, and perhaps the scent may not work with your body chemistry. Head on over to your department store or local Sephora to give yourself a spritz, just to be sure it's for you!

A glorious drag queen of a bottle, let down by the generic juice within. Lola is a slightly more grown-up version of those bland and tiresome Escada fruity fragrances of a few years ago. She smells like musky cordial or drugstore shampoo. Not my thing, but two points for the incredible bottle design.

I'm actually annoyed on the bottle's behalf, as it deserves to hold a juice more befitting of its fabulousness.

I experienced Lola when it was first introduced in early last fall and liked it. Then I received a catalog where was a tester of it and I wanted to have it as an addition to my collection. So, my husband got it for me for Christmas. When I sprayed it on myself, it was completely different story. It smelled cheap, syntethic and artificial. At first, it is strong and can give easily a headache. When is settles down, you don't really smell nothing but musk, not in a good or sexy way. It doesn't' really have a personalilty or something special to it. It smells different on a paper tester and on your body. And price is way too high for this type of perfume. What is attention grabbing? It is a bottle design only. So I returned it.

I got this as a x-mas present. My friend bought a big bottle because she liked the bottle. At first I was like oh no, I'm never going to use the whole bottle, and scent was too sweet and overpowering. Now I have been using only Lola for almost two months, and that is long for me. First it comes floral with spice, pepper, and later on it is warm musky vanilla. I love this fragrance, especially how it changes during the day. Maybe too sweet and strong for summer, but for winter, I keep going back to Lola every morning, even that I'm trying to use my old bottles first. I like the way how it is 'older', as I try to avoid too 'young' vanillas.

I tried this today at Sephora because I heard so much about it. I walked around the store and kept sniffing my wrist. I finally had to buy a bottle. I bought the 1 oz. 7 hours later the floral scent still lingers and has warmed up a bit. So glad I bought it!

If you like floral ... then you would love this perfume. If your like me and hate the smell of very strong eye watering florals then stay away!!!! The bottle is beautiful .. If you collect perfume bottles this one is a must.

Love the bottle, hate the fragrance. Perfume is so personal and smells different on everyone but this one is a weird mix of grassy musky floral on me. Nothing special or distinctive.

Too heavy and sweet and musky. After ten minutes I had a headache. Love the gorgeous bottle though.

I was given this perfume as a birthday present. Firstly I have to say I love the bottle design, it really grabs your attention and looks great on your dressing table. I like the scent too, it's strong and feminine and lasts all day. It gave my friend a headache actually but I just got pleasant wafts throughout the day. It's great for a night out, too strong for work

I'm not a big perfume fan, because I am very sensitive to smell, but recently I found a need for it due to work. I didn't know where to start, so I went to Shoppers and got 10 samplers, one of which is Lola by Marc Jacobs.

I personally prefer light, fresh scents. Lola is the opposite. It has a strong scent that I could only describe as very feminine and mature. It is very long lasting; it has been on my wrists for more than half the day now. On the initial wear, I liked it (not love, just like) but as the day wore on I found the smell somewhat nauseating.

This scent reminds of fragranced feminine hygiene products, a combination of sweet plastic and baby powder.

I have a sample of this perfume and tried it yesterday. It's kinda nice but there is this overpowering plastic scent to it, I would never try it again. Plus I hate musk and the drydown, which is only 20 minutes later is just pure musk. Not a winner but the bottle is absolutely gorgeous.

My new favourite fragrance! Starts off fruity, then dries down to a warm, spicey scent. Staying power is AMAZING! It really lasts all day. While the bottle is a bit over the top (you won't be able to stick it in your purse), the scent is so unique I definitely give it 5 lippies! If I'm not sick of it after using the 100ml bottle I bought, I will repurchase!

I have a sample of this perfume, and can I just tell you...I kind of like it. I don't know if it'll measure up to what my RL Romance is to me, but once the sample is done with, I'll decide then.

The bottle is absolutely adorable!!!! As for the sent its definately VERY floral, so if thats your thing you'll love it. It smells nice but its not a personal fave for me. Its also subtle and seems to fade away fairly quickly. I like it but doubt I'd repurchase..

TBH I did only test this in-store, as I usually do before I buy a fragrance - to see how it mellows out/lasting power. But my inital findings of this fragrance weren't too good, to me anyway: it starts with quite a orchard fruits - pear scent but a bit 'clinical' smelling also as to inhance what pear is usually quite a soft scent, then as the fragrance wears on the bottom notes (to me) are quite a harsh pot-purri accord of dried flowers. But that's just my two cents. The bottle is something you'd find Peaches Geldof designing, pretending she was art-deco and hip. Sadly I didn't like this, I think Daisy's ok. But release some cheap basic non generic fragrance, jeez.

The bottle with the ginormous and theatrical flower top reminds me of something that the fabulous Carrie Bradshaw might wear! The fragrance itself smells flowery and a little sweet. A pleasant smell, but I wasn't convinced to buy it.

This stuff smells amazing. Sexy, with an amazing staying power (for me). The bottle is nice to look at and I love the big tacky flower on the cap. I am not always 100% in love with my fragrances and some that I have make me want to shower before bed because I am sick of smelling them.. but not this one. I would recommend this for cooler temperatures though, as in the heat and humidity it can be a little overwhelming. -1 lipstick for that. Otherwise, give it a try.

I absolutely LOVE THIS. It is sweet and floral like with a hint of musk. The layers of vanilla hide until after the initial scent which I adore. It IS strong so go lightly with it unless you want people to smell it 12 feet away from you. The staying power is pretty good. I've had it on for about 5 to 6 hours and its still there. But it's not the same. It changes. And of COURSE I am in love with the design of the bottle. It's sophisticated yet fresh with the plastic flower. It completely matches the fragrance. Ok, I admit I am a sucker for packaging which is probably a bad thing because I'm flat broke. The one thing I don't like is after a while there's this spicy scent that burns my nose. But I do get tons of compliments so I easily ignore it. Overall its a must have for your collection.

I bought this on a shopping spree but luckily, I am so glad I made that impulse purchase. Lola is a more mature fragrance, sexy but still playful. I feel it is more of a Fall/Winter scent but since I love it so much I may use it through the Spring as well. The only thing keeping it from 5 stars is the lasting power, I feel like reapplying it only an hour or two later. Layering with the matching lotion does help though.
