This was okay. I have used 3 of these as samples from Sephora. The price is outrageous, as with all of the Anastasia products. They are really no different than any other line with brows. It is all in the shaping and that is up to the expert you have shaping them.

I received this as a sample from Sephora at a time when my Bare Escentuals brow gel was starting to look/smell nasty. It keeps my brows in shape, doesn't give me any unwanted shine and is easy to apply. I just wish they sold them in the sample size because the big size would go bad before I'd finish it.

Received this as a sample from Sephora. Am not entirely impressed with the product overall. Was hard to apply, made my eyebrows feel crunchy (think STRAW) and it also made them look glossy. I'll stick to Smashbox's brow tech wax.

This maybe a personal preference, but why I disliked this clear eyebrow gel is because it made my eyebrows shiny! I do not want glossy brows! I have very dark brown, very pronounced eyebrows (similar to Brooke Shields, or so I am told, lol) and all I want is for them to stay together and not go haywire, lol...this did not get white goo, or anything negative, I just cannot stand the sheen.

I got a sample of this from Sephora. I am crazy about brow gels because my eyebrows are extremely rebellious when it comes to holding in place. This brow gel was OK at best. I'm not going to give it less than 3 lippies because my brows are unruly and only certain ones work on it, so this might be ok for people who have thin eyebrows. I didn't like the little brush it came with, even though it was only a sample, but I suspect it's the same shape as the full size brush. It's thicker in the center of the brush than it is on the ends, making it harder to get the whole area all in one swipe. And the gel itself didn't have much staying power. One thing I do like about it though, is that it does not leave gel "clumps" of white product after it dries out. I will not buy this product based on the sample I got though.

This product is worth it:
I used to use Smashbox's wax brow-holder, but that was too oily for my eyebrows and I started noticing blackheads and pimples popping up. So, I switched to "the expert" Anastasia of Beverly Hills.
The tube cost me $21 and I'm loving it. However, nothing is perfect, right? So there is a downside: sometimes the wand will have too much gel on it and as a result, your brows could feel crispy to the touch. The only other problem I have with it is that the gel leaves your brows looking darker than they really are. This is fine if you have brown-dark eye brows, but I have light, red brows and....well, it's hard to explain.
Anywho, it's lasting a long time for me, and I like it :D

Got a sample in clear w/a Sephora purchase and was really psyched to try b/c I have the most incredibly curly brows which few trained brow mistresses have gotten right. Clipping the curls leaves me bald in some places, but anyway, this gel hasn't flaked, leaves a smoothed finish and I don't mind the stiffness others complain about however this doesn't work for me at all. I think it's simply to groom and polish the average brow because I apply, then press into shape (b/c simple application does nothing) and then two or three hairs spring loose......ah well I'll try something cheaper like Black Radiance which got some good reviews.

Let me start by saying that this product is pricey BUT it works! I bought Sephora brow gel first b/c it was about $10 cheaper and it was horrible...it didn't do a thing! Anastasia brow gel lives up to its promise. My eyebrows stay in place...they don't look like there is anything in them and that's exactly what I was looking for. I will continue to use this product and I'm very pleased.

I was lucky enough to get 2 samples of this in swaps and instantly fell in love how it holds my eyebrows in place all day. Im hispanic and have really thick eyebrows that tend to go all over the place when growing in and nothing can hold them in place like this amazing product does. I recently ran out of the samples and tried to buy a cheaper alternative. I went and got CoverGirl clear mascara as alot of ladies on the boards said it did the same thing. I tried it on and it held my brows in place for about 10 minutes and then it was like nothing was on.. I should've known better. This cant be replaced... It makes the brows hard until you wash your face at night.. Amazing product that i will repurchase for life!

This gel is growing on me. At first I was liking my Dior gel better but am starting to lean toward Anastasia after using it a while longer. First thing I like better, you get more product. Its the size of a mascara tube and uses the same wand as mascara. Only difference is the tube is filled with brow gel. The gel itself does a fantastic job of holding my brows in place. It makes them pretty stiff without causing my brows to look unnatural. The only complaint I have with this is it takes off some of my brow powder and I have to touch it up after I use the gel. Not a huge deal but a bit inconvenient nonetheless.

I got this in my Allure beauty box. I think it's too stiff and you have to apply it just right or else it gets flaky. I prefer a soft brow wax.

I received this free in the allure beauty box. It does a great job of holding brows in place. However, I think it's a bit too stiff compared to other brow gels and too expensive for what it is. Plus if you ever rub your brows during the day (I sometimes do this unconsciously) it can leave a white residue. I wouldn't repurchase because of the price and other options out there, but if you are still struggling to control unruly brows, maybe you will like this.

I got the sample in clear and thought it did a great job of holding my brows in place. I was filling them in and then applying the gel so I tried this in Brunette to hopefully skip a step.
I am so pleased! I take the wand and fill my brows and when it dries they are set in place and hold all day.
My issue is why is there shimmer in this? Why would anyone want sparkling eyebrow hair? I take a q-tip and try to minimize that ingredient.

A great brow gel that will hold for the entire day. I haven't really used other clear brow gels, but this one is great.

I was skeptical about this product, however with my wedding coming up and a sparse spot that never seems to grow I had to try something. My cat scratched one spot on my brow and the hair just never grew back. I used this twice a day in the AM & PM and have been doing so for 2 months. I can happily say that that sparse has filled in. Not completely but its definitely easier now to blend powder in the sparse areas without looking to fake. The gel is unscented and easy to apply with the slim lip-brush like applicator. This worked for me, my brows are much fuller after two months. My left brow was always my much thinner and sparse one of the two, but its almost caught up to being just as full as the other.

I received this as a deluxe sample from Sephora for being a beautyinsider. I have to say I have never tried a brow gel was excited about it because I have dark thick eyebrows. This gel did keep them in place but they were a little crunchy shall we say? I wouldn't buy this because it is so expensive but I will buy another brand.

I like this gel for what it does, really holds brows in place, can't see product in brows, etc. The only reason I took off a lippie and said "no" to repurchase is b/c it makes my brows itchy! So odd. It took me a while to figure out it was the gel (I kept thinking I had flyaway hairs tickling my brows) but it's definitely the brow gel so I stopped using it. Too bad too b/c it was expensive.

I am a regular user of brow gels and similar products, I love the finishing touch they give to the shape of my arched brows, it's really lovely. I look very professional and groomed. Upon one usage, I have to say I HATE this product, and I'm happy it didn't cost me a penny. It left my brows stiff and it leaves behind a waxy looking sheen on the brows, even when completely dry. Yes, it did a fantastic job shaping and holding, but I've used other products that have done this just as well minus the sheen and the super crunchy feeling.
Maybelline's Clear Mascara is infinitely superior to this brow gel.

I got a little sample of this and am very pleased with it. It's clear, doesn't flake or go white on my black brows, has excellent, all-day hold (though brows will feel a bit stiff/crunchy) and you need very little per use (though I have thin brows). The only drawback is that it's staggeringly expensive. I think I will try out a cheaper alternative like Tweezerman's Brow Mousse before purchasing a full-sized version of this stuff.
Edit: The Tweezerman Brow Mousse is an excellent alternative. It provides a nice 'hard' hold, which I prefer since my brow hairs are unruly, and it lasts until I wash my face at night. It's not shiny, doesn't flake, and doesn't do anything else weird. It's also way more affordable than the Anastasia Brow Gel. Save your money and get the Tweezerman gel.

I'm on the fence about this product. I received two samples from Sephora and I use it now and again when I wake up with unruly brows -- a few right angles and a rogue hair or two that appears to have grown a quarter-inch overnight! This product (in clear) does a good job of taming everything, though the product has a tendency to get a little crunchy feeling if it's applied too thickly. Applied in just the right amount, it does leave the brows groomed and soft. I also use Rimmel's Style & Shine clear mascara on my brows: it doesn't tame them as well as this product, but it's also about one-quarter of the price. Anastasia's brow gel isn't a standout product for me, though it does its job: I'm just not certain that the price justifies the product's performance.
