the color is okay but I hate the formula. It doesn't apply as easily as other gel/creme eyeliners and doesn't wear well. I ended up tossing it.

Wow, I do not get the hype. The color is lovely and the price is good, but this eyeliner fades in four hours and flakes off in six. With or without UDPP underneath, by the time I hit midday I've got little flakes of purple shit in my eyes, mucking up my contact lenses. No thanks.

Based on the reviews here, I ran out and got this marvelous product in the black. Omgosh, I absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE this eye liner. I dip the tip of my Smashbox angled eyeliner brush in the pot to apply to the upper lash line and also tightlined with it. A tiny bit goes a long way, glides on beautifully. It does not budge, smudge or flake...stays put until you take it off. I still use a pencil on my bottom lash line, because it is easier for me to get it right.I wish this came in a dark brown, but maybe in the future it will. Today, I got the eggplant, will see how that works later, but the black is definitely something I highly recommend, and I would definitely repurchase.

Love it in black, but not as much in eggplant. First, the color is too dark and a bit dull. It's hard to tell that it's purple. Also, although you can see small shimmers in the gel pot, it doesn't have any shimmer once on the eyes. Since the gel is so creamy, it's hard to get an even line (although I had the same problem with the coastal scents gel eyeliner in deep plum) and I have to go over the line several times. This can create a problem because too many layers causes flaking. However, it is really waterproof and doesn't smudge throughout the day. Overall, it's just okay, and I'll probably use it occasionally. I might repurchase just because it is so waterproof.

In the pot there are distinct sparkles, but blended on skin, they dissapear. The color looks quite deep, but applies sheer, which makes it very versatile to go day to evening. Makes a very nice smokey eye, and yes you can build up intesity by layering. I like that control. The wear is very long and budge-proof. No serious build-up in fine lines of the 43 yr old eyes here. Exceptional value and quality, even the brush, while not perfect, doesn't scratch delicate skin, and is good for blending out the liner to a shadow effect.

My new found love.
I'm almost half way through the pot with this creme liner.

the brush isn't half bad. and it's amazing.

my latest lemming, creme eyeliner! =)
i tried the HIP pot liner in Teal and became hooked, i had to have more! i cant affored HIP or any of the other liners that are higher priced unfortunatly. but today i went into WalGreens to get my meds and low n behold i ran into the display for this stuff for only $3.99! i snatched up the eggplant (which was the very last one) and ran to the counter.
glad i did, this stuff is just as great as the HIP liner! but im reading this stuff is LE?! nnooo!!! ill have to go back on payday and scrooge up a few more i guess.
the coloring is a nice dark purple, i didnt see any shimmer though which isnt an issue w/ me. the brush is better then the HIP brush too! the packaging is cute but flimsy plastic.
will deff buy more reguardless!
Edit: still diggin this after several months. took a shower w/ it on & washed my faced, when i got out it smudged onto my lower eye area but the initial line on upper lid was still perfect! talk about trippy. great stuff & now i bought the black!

Too bad these didn't come in even more colours, because I'm impressed! I prefer this one over my HiP Eggplant one because it's creamier and deeper in colour. Glides on like a dream (I like to use Quo's concealer brush which is quite fine and flat like a tiny cat's tongue). I typically apply a bit of a co-ordinating pencil first and go over it with the gel. This gives the look a softer edge and I keep the gel close to the lashline where the intensity is needed.
Again, WnW discovers a fabulous product and releases it LE? Dang!

this formula is very smooth and creamy, applies very well. it lasted all day--through sweating outside, washing an unruly horse (who got shampoo and water on my eyes), and a shower. it didn't budge or flake! it's a very dark purple, not quite black, but not bright either. i see this working on everyone. the pot sucks--it's plastic and the lid is flimsy. but for under $3, i'm not complaining. it's LE, so stock up!

Well, Im sorry but this sucks. Have any of you worn this more than a day? Yeah it stays on but who cares when this stuff dries on your eyelid it looks like cracked desert sand. The dried texture is horrible very matte. When washing it off it flakes and gets in your eye and little tiny flakes get all over yourself. I had to put 4 coats to get even color application (w/ my own brush because the brush that comes with this is garbage) The pot is not the most user friendly. LOL what ever!!

I love this! Lasts all day long. Before I would use a base, liquid liner and then my Smashbox creme liner, which would last most of the day. Not safe for waterline- burns a bit.

The only criticism I have of this is the brush (but at least they give you one), and the weird shaped pot. It's a deep purple with subtle shimmer. I wish it was a bit brighter, but anybody could wear this color. All WNW is BOGOF right now at Walgreens.

This liner is not as bad as I thought it would be, but still it's not a Jane-caliber gel liner drugstore knock-off.
I like the little pot it comes in, it looks like a 1950s era UFO :) I bought the Eggplant shade, which is what you would imagine, a matte dark purple (almost dark grape, I don't see any red or burgundy tones to this.)
The pigmentation is not excellent right off the bat, but with two layers it works. The texture is very soft, but not watery, so in that respect it is very easy to just deposit a dot of liner in between lashes for that natural look. When making a more solid line though, it takes a little work to get an even pigmentation. I will say though that the lasting power is really good, it stayed put while I was running errands today in the 100 degree weather and it still looks good now going into the evening.

This is cheaper than the new Jane liners, but the Jane ones have better pigment from initial application and I find their thicker texture easier to work with. Due to the cheap price ($3) and the fact that Wet 'n' Wild goes on sale often, this would be a great cheapy for a creme/gel liner newbie to test the waters without spending a lot of $.
