I loved how this looked and how it lasted, but it seemed to make my lips feel burny and chapped. I would wake up the next day with a rash around my lips, too. I regretfully threw mine away.

I really only use this over lipliner of various shades depending on my mood. I use mostly Bloom over Cliniques Lipliner in Tender Taupe, and it gives a nice, 'pink chocolate' effect that really lasts. I just vary how deep the lipliner color is to determine how deep I want the overall effect to be. My preference is to apply the lipliner, then run my finger over it to soften it and lighten it up a little, then apply the gloss. I hated all of the long-lasting lipsticks, blech!! But this, works really well at lasting without being drying AT ALL. One BIG NOTE OF ADVICE: I had the same problem with it transferring on my teeth, so what I do is this: Immediately after applying, I put a light coating of vaseline on my thumb joint down at the base of my hand and up the thumb itself, then pop that in my mouth and pull it out over the slightly closed lips a few times until no more color comes off. Learned this trick from Heidi Klum!! It really works! The vaseline creates a barrier from the color to your teeth. I know it sounds a little gross, but, hey, if it works.....!!

This stuff stayed on pretty good. I had the color Bloom. My bff searched high and low for it, and found the very last one stashed. I loved the color, and the consistency wasn't too bad. I've never had this problem before, so I know it's not my application - but the lipgloss KEPT sticking to my teeth. So needless to say, I didn't appreciate pink teeth, and I am no longer using this lip gloss :(

i needed a couple of glosses before going out of town...and i went to the makeup aisle in my local drugstore. i picked up 3 of these glosses. i loved a dark pink one...forgot the name...:(
they claim that there is a mirror on the top of the gloss...i cant see it...its too frosty.
after a few uses, the consistency of the gloss gets sticky....hated that..
also the applicator...it was so annoying...

I couldn't wait to try these when they first came out, and I was quite happy with my purchase.I am always putting balm, gloss or color on my lips as I hate when they are dry. The first thing that struck me was how this stuff seems to lock in lip moisturizer that you apply and extend its benefits. As far as this lipgloss goes, I don't know about six-hour wear, but I certainly don't have to keep re-applying balm nearly as much. Also, worth mentioning is I sometimes use a lipstick over this gloss to get longer wear out of it.One thing I'm not thrilled with is the range (or lack of) colors. It would be great if they had a fuscia and a plum for us olive skinned girls.

i have 3 of these and really like them. they do stay on for longer than an average gloss, and they have good pigmentation and are pretty true to the color in the tube. its not that glossy, but by no means matte. i didnt give it a 5 because after a while it gets kind of gunky on my lips and balls up a little bit because its so thick, but i can live with that.

pros:
the colors and packaging. the tube is very sleek and even though i wasn't particularly fond of the applicator, props to loreal for thinking up something different
cons:
the gloss sucks. i've always thought people were just being too picky when they complain about a gloss being "too sticky"..but oh my gosh. they weren't lying about this one. when you first apply it, the gloss goes on really smooth and feels good on the lilps..then when it sets..it's crazy sticky. and tacky. like having honey on your lips (sounds good, but it isn't =x)
another thing i didn't like about these, at least with the shimmery ones, is that they look nice and sheer on your lips by itself..but if you layer it over a lipstick..they become super frosty. the shades i got were sunset (coral pink) and suede (neutral peachy nude). suede was the shade i was most excited to try because it's a mix between revlon super lustrous lipglosses in life's a peach and toast to shine. whereas lp is too pink, ts was too beige..suede LOOKED like the perfect medium...no..it isn't
i just...i've never hated a gloss as much as these ones

I was trying to find a nice nude gloss for evenings. The shade I got is suede and it is pretty good for what I wanted it for, however, it does tend to be sticky after it dries a bit and absolutely doesn't last as long as they claim. I probably won't repurchase.

My new favorite lip gloss. It last much longer than usual glosses. I can probably wear it for a good two hours before I have to reapply. Undeniable mauve is a gorgeous color. It can be worn day or night. It is a tad sticky, but it isn't enough to keep me from wearing it.

I bought this during a L'oreal BOGO at Walgreens in Coral Sands and I'm pleasantly surprised.
It's definitely not as good as my favorite lip gloss (Lipgelees) but is different. It is more shimmery than shiny after it dries. The color is sheer so would work well over another lipstick color to add more to it and the color selection is pretty good. I will probably go back and pick up a couple more colors to play with that I normally wouldn't buy at MAC, since BOGO makes it pretty cheap.
My only complaints are the taste, the fact that it is slightly sticky and most importantly the packaging. It has a doefoot applicator, which is fine, but it's bent and gets stuck in the tube when trying to take it out. Kind of annoying and not very lady like to be using force to open your lip gloss.
I wish I could give it 3.5 stars because its not really a 3 but it's not really a 4. Anyway, I'll probably buy a couple more to throw in my various purses in the next few days and I'd reccomend picking it up if you see it up for BOGO.

OK...so i like this. Its true thats its sticky and doesnt feel all that great BUT the colors are pretty (i got coral sands and suede) think suede would be good on lighter skin, as I am NW45, but thats not L'Oreal's fault. I honestly didnt like these at first but then I put on my Cult Fave from fafi and the coral sands over it and WOW. I was literally one click away for posting cult fave for swap as it looks like a hot chalky frosty pink mess on my skin. but the coral sands really adapts it for my color AND makes it last twice as long because of the staying power!! The 2 of these together make the perfect shade of light pink for me, and i didn't have to wear a lipstick to get good staying power.
So if you have a color you want to last longer, i suggest getting a similar or really sheer shade in infallible and your good to go! The price tag kinda sucks but they were on sale and BOGO so i suggest you wait for that.

These are good glosses. I have two of them, and they last a long time. Like everyone else has said, not as long as they claim, but a good 3 hours, even through eating and drinking. The colors are pretty, but they are on the pricey side for drugstore lip gloss. I would wait for them to be BOGO before spending the money.

LOVE the formulation of this gloss! BY FAR my absolute favorite gloss ever. I'm more of a matte lip kinda gal..but this gloss takes the cake! Doesn't feather AT all and it lasts a nice, long time...not as long as it claims to but pretty dern long....at least 3 hours without a touch up at all.
I am NOT a fan of the wand applicator though...not too sure what they were tryin to accomplish with that. But I don't really put much weight on the packaging most of the time. I'm all about the product, and this is a superior one.
xoxoxo
luv,

With desert-dry lips that soak up moisture like a sponge, I love these glosses because they keep my lips moisturized and pretty for hours - even after drinking and eating. Oh, and I have almost no pigmentation to my lips, either....sound lovely, don't they? Dry ghost lips. But Infallible (Fiery is my fave color) makes them look and feel wonderful, and the gloss isn't too heavy or sticky. It's a wonderful product.

I love this gloss! It's longer lasting than other glosses because of its stickiness and the way it kind of dries down, but the drying down doesn't accentuate my lip lines (it actually diminishes their appearance a little, I think). I don't particularly like or dislike the applicator, it works well enough for me, though I like the plastic spatula applicators a la Shiseido Integrate the best. The mirror, as others mentioned, is puzzling and stupid. I actually spent a while (considering how few places there are to look) looking for the mirror until I realized that it's just the cap of the gloss ^^|||
The colors I have are 405 Coral Sands, 115 Blush, 705 Sangria, and 715 Raisin. My lips are medium pigmented and all of the colors show up on me except for Blush. Coral Sands is a warm peachy color with a little shimmer that's what I would call my-lips-but-peach (for a lack of a better description ^^). Blush is a very light pink color that doesn't really show up on my lips, but imparts a nice sparkly gloss. Sangria is a pink-red that looks a shade or two deeper than my normal lip color and is basically what my lips look like after I eat spicy food. Raisin is a deep sparkly plum.
All of the shimmer/sparkles in these glosses are very fine and don't leave a gritty texture. If you are really against shimmer in glosses, though, I don't think Sangria contains any. I think all of the colors complement my tone although Coral Sands could make me look sallow if I was tired that day. For reference, I have a light, warm, Asian complexion (a N3 for L'Oreal True Match, probably about NC20).

I love lipglosses, and I love this lip gloss very much!
As others stated, it doesn't neccessarily stay on the whole 6 hours, but it BY FAR lasts longer than any gloss I know. Plus, it has the right amount of pigment so it doesn't just look like your lips are sticky, but has actual gloss on it.
Of course, if you eat, drink or smoke, its going to take off more gloss, but overall this stayed on pretty long for a lip gloss.
I also love the applicator, its not your usual doe foot applicator. This applicator covers more lip area.
Sometimes I'll layer it on top of my lipstick for more staying power, but by itself its the best long lasting lip gloss. This is definitely my go-to lip gloss. LOVE IT!

EDIT: I am upping the rating to 5 after using it for the past week. I am really liking the color, and the sweet cotton candy scent is growing on me. But most of all, I am loving the fact I don't have to reapply my lipgloss every hour.
Original Review: I picked up this lipgloss in Barely Nude over the holidays because I was intrigued by the claim it will last 6 hours.
I'm much more of a lipgloss person than lipstick, so I'm used to my lipcolor & shine disappear after 1, 1 1/2 hours. So a lipgloss that lasts 6 hours sounds like the perfect product for me.
First, it doesn't last 6 hours. But it does last considerably longer than conventional glosses. With drinking & no eating, it lasted almost 4 hours. And the color faded evenly as it wore off. The texture & shine is somewhere between a lipgloss and a liquid lipstick. The color definitely shows up, and there is some shine, but it's not super glossy.
The color Barely Nude shows up as a creamy nudish pink (with no shimmer) quite well on my pigmented pink lips. Maybe it will be more of a true nude on someone with pale lips.
Overall, I'm happy with it, and probably will re-purchase. But I have yet to use up a single cosmetic item, lol.

I have this in Sunset, a pretty cinnamon tinged peach with gold shimmer. While I like the colour, I'm disappointed with the overall performance. Even without eating or drinking, this gloss wears off within 2 hours, good for most, but not what you'd expect given the advertised 6 hours of wear. I could tolerate this but it wears off unevenly and tends to leave a line of clumpy product where my lips touch. The formula is particularly sticky, probably the reason behind the clumping. Overall a thumbs down for me.
