I finally got over my misgivings about this product, and I'm very glad I did! The glitter and super-high-maintenance aura of the product made me a little nervous at first, but I thought I'd give it a shot for special occasions. It blended in perfectly with my skin. I can't even see it once it's on. I just use a little across my outer cheekbones, brow bone, and inner eye, and it really helps my features pop. It's not something I would use everyday, which is really my only issue with this product. The regular sized bottle is HUGE, but I was able to get a small vial which is perfect for me.

This is the most puzzling item in my makeup bag! Some days I'll blend a bit into my cheekbones and have a lovely fresh faced glow which looks fab, however, nine times out of ten I'll blend it in and just be left with a streak of glitter across my face (very fine glitter, but glitter all the same). Not a good look. I don't know if this is just because I have such fair skin that maybe my face acts as a 'blank canvas' and the shimmer just sits on top rather than blending in but it was definitely a let down! I've given this product 1/5 because on the rare occasions I do get it to work, it really does produce a gorgeous glow, however most of the time I just look like I'm wearing kiddies glitter makeup. On the plus side, very easy to apply, I don't have a problem with the consistency and I love the cute little bottle it comes in (one bottle will last forever!) So glad I'm not the only one who doesn't get the hype, I so want to like this product but I just can't get it to work every time and it's definitely not worth the money :(

I'm so glad I tried this stuff, it makes my skin such a nice flawless sheen. Everytime I wear this I get compliments on how my skin is glowing.

Yea...I don't think this product lives up to the hype. I was on the search for a pinky tone highlighter. I have a couple powder ones that are more goldy (Mac Soft and Gentle MSF). I was torn b't High Beam and Mac CCB in Shell. Ended up with High Beam (at least for a week or so before I returned it). The main thing I didn't like about this was no matter what I did, it never really applied evenly. I didn't find it to be very blendable, which I still don't understand, its a flipping liquid, but whatevs. I didn't really like the sheen it gave either, it looked whitish on me, and it wasn't flattering at all. I expected it be a seamless sheen. Not sure if its my skin or what but it didn't work. So ironically a few days after I bought this, I was strolling though my local target and saw a Boots Illuminating Lotion. Its an EXACT DUPE of High Beam but....not in price. I think I paid $12 for it and its at least twice the size of high beam. Its much easier to blend and gave me the effect I wanted. So if you are having problems with High Beam or are on a budget def check that out!

This is a great highliter! I have that problem many people with oily skin have, highlighters can add to my face's greasy problem. But, I've learned where to put this on my face, and it adds to my face in a good way. I put five dots from my temple to right under my eye and blend them all together, and three dots underneath my eyebrow and blend them together, and the result is a soft shine, and the appearance of lifted brows. The consistency of this is nice, not too liquidy, and not too thick. Benefit has it again.

This is a great highlighting product. Though.. there are a few quirks about it.. or about using it.First.. I have oily skin, and like others with oily skin.. using illuminating products often means adding shimmer and shine to the face which is something those of us with oily skin tend to avoid or limit. But when properly placed and blended.. this product is pretty awesome.I never use this product during the summer.. as I said on my skin it would just be too much shine. But during the winter it offers a very nice healthy glow. I do have a bit of problems blending it.. but I'm pretty sure it's just the foundation that I use (a fast drying 24 hour long lasting foundation - so putting 'wet' makeup on top of it like a highlighter or creme blush doesn't really work well) - so I do have to use this while my foundation is still a bit tacky and not set yet and just dab a very small amount where I want it to go then not mess with it afterward so it doesn't cake. Again, it's not so much this product alone as it it using this product over a foundation.

I purchased this after a freind recommended this product to me. She loves it, I gave her my bottle. It doesn't suit me. She has pale skin like me but she is both quite a bit younger and has much lighter hair. I'm thinking those two things make a difference. It looks fake and casts and "off" glow on me. I don't know how better to describe it than off and fake. I either apply so little you hardly see it, or just a tiny bit more and FAKE happens! I much prefer a more subtle powder and to be able to brush a light amount of highlighter across my cheeks in a nice sweeping motion.

I really like this product. I mix a quarter-size of my 100% Pure tinted moisturizer and a dime-size of this highlighter and rub this combo on the apples of my cheeks and it is so pretty.

This is the best liquid highlighter out there. The formula is like no other and the pink luminescent shimmer color gives off the prettiest, dewy look. Works great for African American/darker skin tones! I use it under the brow bone and on cheekbones. But yes be careful because if you use too much you can look shiny. If you have had little sleep and want to look more refreshed, it looks awesome on the brow bone, in the corner of the eyes and applied lightly over your fave under eye concealer. A little goes a long way so this bottle is a good investment. I do wish that it came in a different applicator because the nail polish brush is not the best. I have a mini-travel size version of it where the applicator is a sponge tip and it is much better because you can control the application/amount of the product.

I love the effect this has on others but it's just not so great on me :-( !!! Firstly i have oily skin and use powder foundation so this is a bit diffcult to apply. And then my skin tone is olive/tan so i do get a nice sheen but it can look a little crazy if not applied properly! I have experimented with it loads of times but now i just use it on my brow bones for nights out or dab a teeny bit on my cheekbones if i have time to play around with it! Wish it worked for me but it doesn't so i won't be repurchasing.
