This is the only face brush I really need. It's great for travel because you only need one brush for your foundation, powder, blush, and bronzer. This is great to use for liquid (or powder) foundation if you don't have a stippling brush. It buffs in foundation really well and the results look better than using your fingers or a sponge. The brush is very dense and of high quality, the bristles are soft and there is next to no shedding. The price is unbeatable and the look of the brush is very sleek, this is definitely something I'd repurchase and have recommended to others. :)

i absolutely love this brush! I find myself picking this instead of my sigma f80 to apply liquid foundation. The bristles are softer, and clean easier, not leaving a residue of the foundation. I have two of this brushes.

I use this brush for applying my foundation. I have also bought the Studio Stipple Brush, also from E.L.F, but I prefer this brush to apply foundation with. It's a very strong brush and it feels very sturdy in your hand, which is always good. I like the sleek colour and it makes them look a bit more expensive than they are, in comparison to the other E.L.F brushes. I've not noticed a significant amount of fallout with this brush, but then again some people may notice a lot, some nothing at all. Often you can get a dud when purchasing brushes from E.L.F.As I said, I use this for applying my liquid foundation, rather than a powder, it does a much better job than my other brushes for doing this as it doesn't 'wipe it all over my face', I stipple it on using this brush and it does a great job and leaves no brush marks! Overall, I can't really complain, the brush does a great job, especially as it is really cheap!

This brush works great with powder and it's amazing for the price, but I don't know how people are using it with liquid foundation? It isn't dense enough for that for me, it is streaky, and I find that I need a much denser brush to use it for liquid foundation. For blush or face powder it's soft, and blends nicely.

UPDATE: I have discontinued the use of this product with my foundation, because I felt it was sucking up too much product, and my foundation was sticking to the inner bristles of the brush and not wanting to come off. I will be using this most likely with powder or bronzer. I would recommend using this with a more liquidy foundation that is not as thick to avoid the product from sticking to the inner bristles of this brush. I still think this is an EXCELLENT brush!I purchased this brush from eyelipsface.com for 3$ last year in July, and have been using it since. I LOVE using this brush with liquid foundation! I take my Revlon Colorstay foundation and put some on the back of my hand (you can dot your face if you prefer instead). Then I dab the brush into the foundation and use stippling motions on my face. After I rub the foundation with the brush in circular motions. I have used it with powder and it works great both stippled, and rubbed in circular motions. The thing though with this brush is that when I wash it it still has residue of foundation in the inner bristles, making it stiffer after many uses. I don't really blame ELF because Revlon Colorstay is a REALLY thick foundation, and sometimes I don't wash my brush immediately after using it. I just bought the ELF Studio brush set which includes another powder brush. This brush is super soft, as are their other Studio brushes. I LOVE the how classy it looks, and it comes with a brush guard as a bonus. No animal cruelty is involved either.

I had to order it online cause we don't have E.L.F here in Indonesia. It cost me Rp65,000 (about $6-7), twice as the retail price (no, I did not order from the official web, I mean, the shipping fee will costs me a bomb if I only purchase few products), but I still consider this brush as cheap.Well, it does shed a little bit, the bristles' shape does change easily, not the softest brush I own, but I just LOVE the brush! I mean, it's cheap, nothing can go wrong! For a cheap brush, this performs way beyond my expectation. Definitely worth the money. I use this for applying liquid foundation, tinted moisturizer, and cream blush (mostly in stippling motion 'cause I have dry skin so I don't want any micro exfoliation). Amazing result! I also like the grip/handle, so nice to hold! And the flat top is just...flat! I mean, it's super flat and dense which is perfect for applying liquids/creams. Love this brush so much, probably will repurchase to apply my powder products.

I have three of these, one I purchased over a year ago, and the other two are more recent additions, about a few months old each. Looking at the three of them, I couldn't tell you which one was which. They've held up really well.I use one of them every single day for my liquid or cream foundation. It buffs the foundation in seamlessly, and can be stippled on areas for more coverage. The second one I use for setting powders and mineral foundations. It does a better job than any of my more expensive natural hair brushes. The third I use for contouring, the angled edge is really nice for giving my ckeekbones definition. These have held up through countless washes, and are still as soft as ever. They're only $3, so if the handle detatched, or they started shedding they'd be easy to replace, but I have had none of those issues.

i love this brush! OMGSH. i use it for liquid foundation, powder, blush...it's such a great brush for so cheap! i can't get this where i am but i asked my friend in the US to buy me a backup :) the bristles are dense but soft and they are so good for buffing cream/liquid products into my skin or just evenly applying powder blush.

I use this for powder only and I love it.This flat shape allows you to pick up more product which makes it easier to do you blush it one swipe with picking up too much product.I also find that in a pinch it really does work well for liquid foundation.
