I really tried to like this product, I really did. There wore so many great reviews about it. I got my benefit porefessional as a gift with purchase from Sephora, thank god I did not have to pay for this. It claims to reduce/hide large pores and give me a flawless looking skin. It doesn't, this was a huge disappointment. It sucked as a primer becausel my make up with not staying on. Throughout the day I noticed my foundation was separating from my skin; by the end of the day my makeup is a huge mess. This product was a complete disappointment.

This primer is super smooth but doesn’t slide too much- this really smoothes out your skin and your foundation just glides on so easily. you could even wear this primer alone if you didnt want to wear foundation, it makes your skin flawless. its oil free and wont clog your pores or break you out
It works really well in priming the face! It has a slight color to it, so it helps hide imperfections and works for every skin type.

After trying about 10 different brands i`ve come to conclusion that this is thee best pore and ice pick scar filler out there. I like that it is flesh colored, it glides over the skin without balling up and leaves an instant powdery finish. You can even mix a little of any silicone based foundation with it and pat it on depressed acne scars to make them truly undetectable. Unfortunately, I can not give it the highest possible rating because of the strong synthetic perfume smell that does not dissipate even hours after applying it. If you are sensitive to fragrances, it will be very bothersome every time you turn your head, and get of whiff of cheap perfume up your nose. If you are not sensitive to certain chemicals, you probably won`t even detect a smell. It`s weird how that is .At any rate, i`ts a shame they have to load up such an exceptional product with chemicals that offend some peoples olfactories so much so, that they can not even tolerate to wear it. I`ve since switched to Nars pore priming skin prep which is odorless, but hard to apply a thick dab to deep ice pick scars or Dr Brandt Pores No More which in no way rivals the effectiveness of this one from Benefit, but it`s the next best thing and smells of tea tree oil which is fairly tolerable and at least natural.

UPDATE 2:
I'm lowering the rating to a 2.
This isn't as great of a product as I thought. Initially, it filled in literally all of my pores, but now it only fills in some of my pores (which is the same filling-in power as the L'Oreal Magic Perfecting Base). And the staying power was never that great in the first place--I just didn't realize that until now. 15 minutes after initial application, it just all goes away as if I never applied anything. This happens with and without foundation on top. It stays a LOT better with MAC Fix+ sprayed on top (just a fine mist is sufficient). The L'Oreal one at least stays on my face for a few hours and costs half the price. I guess I'm going to continue looking for the best pore-filling primer.

UPDATE:
I'm lowering the rating to a 3.
I woke up this morning with a fresh batch of mini pimples all over my cheeks, which is the area that I applied this on yesterday. I am NOT happy at ALL--this shouldn't ever happen since I always make sure all my makeup is gone. And, to make matters worse, I have acne and I just recently got rid of the acne on my cheeks. And now I have 20 new mini pimples to get rid of! This hasn't ever happened to me since MAC Studio Fix Powder Plus! WTF??!!! smh

ORIGINAL REVIEW:
This stuff is awesome! The very first pore-minimizing makeup product I've ever used was the L'Oreal Studio Secrets Magic Perfecting Base, which is a great product that I thought was my HG and the best pore minimizer on the market (even though it's the ONLY one I tried). But I was wrong.
This stuff is much better. Don't get me wrong--MPB does the job, but PF does it much better. They both are completely undetectable and very smooth, but that's where the similarities end. While MPB filled in some pores and forehead wrinkles, PF filled in every single pore (I haven't tried it on my forehead wrinkles yet).
It's absolutely amazing.
The color is a neutral beige that's supposed to be translucent, but I don't understand how that can be. On your finger, it comes out beige, and on my face it comes out beige, and when I'm blending it on it still comes out beige. Sooo I don't get how it's translucent, but it does blend in with my warm NC30-35 skintone very, very well. Like I mentioned above, it's undetectable. You can't tell I'm wearing or using anything to cover up my pores at all.
The consistency is extremely smooth and very silky (even when it's on your face), just like all dimethicone-based products are. Dimethicone, by the way, is the second, third, and fifth ingredient, which is [obviously] a lot of dimethicone. So if your skin is sensitive to dimethicone or it breaks you out, be common-sensical and don't use this! Dimethicone is the ingredient that makes the product so smooth and silky, and it's the ingredient that allows the product to fill in the pores and fine lines.
I just apply it with my fingers, but I only use a little bit. As with all dimethicone-based products, you only need a teeny bit since it's so spreadable.
I use it under my foundation (over my moisturizer) on my inner cheeks; works great!
It costs $29, which is the reason why I knocked off a lipstick. I personally think all Benefit products are overpriced. I'm accustomed to MAC prices, so I think $29 for a 0.75 oz tube is expensive, even though a little product goes a long way.
It's still worth purchasing, but the price is still...expensive.
Would I repurchase? Yes.

Love this! It really works, gives me smooth poreless skin and a great base before I apply my foundation

I hate to admit it, but Porefessional is going to take the place of my DHC Velvet Skin Coat. Why? Because since I finally stopped being such a chicken-ass and got Botox in my 11 lines, PF fills in the traces of wrinkles even BETTER than DHC VSC. I say "traces", oh yes, OMG why did I wait SO LONG TO GET BOTOX!!!!!

But I digress.

It is a neutral nude color, leaning toward tan, which works my for light/medium "I have no idea what my MAC color" skin is. Those who are PPP should probably avoid this, as I think it will be too dark for you.

I generally use under powder, over foundation on the rare days I wear base...which is usually twice a month when I go grocery shopping. Hey, I'm essentially a hermit living in the woods of North Idaho. But a girl's gotta look good when she hits Wal Mart and Costco.

Based on that, I think that's why my little (Birchbox) sample has lasted as long as it has...about four months. I bit the bullet and bought the full-sized one on ebay for about fifteen bucks. I think it will last YEARS, using the general cleanliness precautions and capping it tightly (and,of course, keeping it out of my demon 3 year old's hands).

I knocked a lippie off because it's expensive for what you get, and because it can feel greasy when you're wearing it. I'm not fond of much on my face other than powder, so take the "greasy" comment with a grain of salt. It feels about the same as DHC VSC. I imagine all silicone-based primers feel the same.

We'll see if it gets chalky looking when I get my customary "Oh, the 14 seconds of summer are here!" where I live, but for now, a solid four lippies.

I don't really like the Porefessional, but I don't hate it either. In my opinion it didn't do anything to reduce the size of my pores. However it did make my makeup glide on a lot smoother and it does have a nice powdery feel once it dries.

I was very skeptical about this product. I was afraid it will clog my pores and break out into acne. I have oily skin so my pores are noticeable and acne-prone.
Pros: After I applied on my nose and cheeks, I INSTANTLY saw results. I want to say my pores were gone, but can't since it is just temporary. My pores were flawless and minimized. Also, I did not break when I used this.
Cons: I do not like re-applying the product throughout the day. If you're a busy person, you won't have time to. This was also an extra step in my make-up routine which I don't really need.
