I always thought this product was too thick and greasy for me... so I didn't buy it until someone told me it's amazing for dry skin. With Winter coming up, I had to find an HG moisturizer asap. After a little while it absorbs into the skin and leaves it very soft and smooth. I use it on everything.. I buy the biggest jar they sell. Which is about $15 at Walmart, so it's not cheap. It has basic ingredients and I believe that's why it works so well. Vaseline just sits on your skin and is far too greasy, but this seems to soak into the deeper layer of skin and keep it supple. I won't use anything else now.

I started using this for my son's extremely dry and sensitive skin 3 years ago- It helped heal some eczema on him, and the WORST of diaper rashes- and I noticed it made my hands baby soft and smooth as well just from applying it , and I wash my hands about 20 times a day, so my hands usually feel dry. The tub is a bit unsanitary, so I took off a lippie for that. All in all- a good multi-use product. Good for hands, feet, lips..but it is a bit greasy feeling upon application.

Aquaphor is better than other lip balms. I noticed that it kind of gets absorbed into the lips. I used this while I was taking Accutane, which can make your lips severely dry. But I didn't get that side effect since I constantly applied this on. I also use this on dry spots on my skin like the elbows and heel. My mom have cracked heels and this worked wonders for her. I do not recommend this as a face cream since it can clog pores. I read in a magazine that this would be a good night eye cream. I gave the packaging a 2 because I bought the one in the tub. I should've gotten the tube.

This was "prescribed" to me buy my doctor for excema and contact deramtitis. My hands get so dry they crack and bleed, and I am allergic to nickel, the effects of which can take a month to leave my skin. This is the most moisturizing product out there. Perfect for extreme cases. If you have skin so dry you are at a lost, pick this up. It takes a while to sink in to skin, it isn't all ncie smelling and feeling when you put it on, and the consistency is rather icky, but it is like nothign out there, it is pure moisture for oyur skin.

Wow, I'm totally amazed by the negative reviews on this product. I have to say, Aquaphor works pretty great on chapped lips, especially when you put it on before going to sleep. I use it every night, and also put some on every morning before I leave the house. I don't need to put on any other lip treatment throughout the day, other than something just for the SPF. Yes, it feels kind of icky sticky on, but it will keep my lips from getting chapped. Also, it makes my lips look nice, as if I have a pretty lip gloss on. Aquaphor also works on dry skin, cuts, or even just a rough patch of skin. If you have new shoes you just broke in and it gave you blisters, it'll help (I tested it just applying it on one side and it healed one foot about 3x faster than the other foot). <3 BUT, it does seem to last a long time, and you don't want to be using an expired product, so I would buy the small tubes, or the small tub.

What more is there to say on this one really? It's good for so many things Unfortunately it breaks my out around my mouth if I use it on my lips but I always have it on hand especially in the winter.

I love, love, love this cream. It's the only thing that keeps my legs from being flaky-dry in the winter, and it also helps protect / heal sunburns, burns, and cuts. My skin loves this stuff - it's something I ALWAYS keep on hand as an absolute staple.

I originally purchased this upon the recommendation of my tattoo artist. He said to use it on the healing tattoos. I used it then, and it did help with protecting and keeping in moisture during the healing process. After, I used it on my lips. A tub of this stuff lasts forever! Now that I have a child, I use it for his lips and also when he was tiny for moisturizing in irritated areas. At one point I had a horrible rash break out on my hands and I couldn't figure out how to calm the itching, as a last reserve, I coated my hands in this, put a sock over them and went to bed... by morning my hands weren't irritated, restored back to normal, non-rashed hands that were VERY soft. I love this stuff. I pick up tiny little tubes that are given at our pediatrician's office and have them in our diaper bad, my purse, med. cabinets all through our house, a couple in my makeup kit, etc... these go everywhere with us now! I always have some near by.

I watched my friend use the Eucerin Aquaphor Healing Ointment in the smaller tubes as a lip ointment and it made her lips look so good! I like the natural color of my lips and this ointment only makes them look better! However, I had never tried it on dry skin until I had several patches of irritated, itchy skin show up on my chin area around my lips. I tried Hydrocortisone creme and other anti-itch ointments but nothing seemed to work. I used this on the itchy patch and it healed it! It is a little greasy to put makeup over it (which I probably didn't need to do anyway!). I have since purchased the larger tube and use it nightly as a lip moisturizer. It has no fragrance and is very gentle for my sensitive skin. My husband gets very dry skin in the winter and I have used this on his cracked heels and hands. I have used gool 'ol Vaseline in the past but I prefer this ointment over Vaseline because it actually soaks into the skin and acts as a moisturizer.
