I was on Accutane my senior year of high school, along with my sister and good friend. Both of them suffered from chapped lips SO bad they bled pretty severely every day. As soon as I noticed mine begin to dry out I started slathering on Aquaphor. My lips stayed soft and pretty the entire time I was on Accutane! It also works wonders on chapped hands! Or anywhere you have dry skin! I can't live without it!!!
(On a side note, Accutane is HORRIBLE! I don't care how desperate you are, do not take it!)

This is a true gem. It heals my extremely dry lips. I use it as a night treatment on them everynight because it is the only stuff that truly heals!!!

I initially purchased this product for my son, who has eczema pretty bad on his knees and elbows. When I first opened it, I was a little disappointed to find that I had paid a hefty amount of money for vaseline. I went ahead and used it anyway and t really turned out to be one of the best things I had ever tried. It took a minute to absorb into the skin, but even my alligator hands felt soft and smooth afterwards! Despite the price, I will definitely purchase this again.

Almost no point in me writing this review, this product is great. I used it on my lips every night to keep them soft and supple. I usually buy the smaller tubes for convenience and hygiene reasons. This IMHO is better than vaseline because it is thicker in consistency and lasts longer on areas. Great for dry skin.

I watched MakeupbyRenRen on Youtube and she said she used this on her lips. I had tubs of this product lying around since my sister used to have eczema and she used this so we would get tubs. Unfortunately, this doesn't work for my lips. I think it's way too strong for my lips since I only put a little amount and it gave me cuts. This ointment works great for dry skin in the winter so I do give it some credit however this is just a glorified version of Vaseline. If you buy it in the tubs, it's great for scooping it out and the tubes work just the same. Overall, I wouldn't buy this again.

When I was on accutane (for my acne) I had the most horribly dry lips (one of the side effects from accutane). I had heard such great things about aquaphor that I decided to stock up on some. I really had nothing to lose at that point!

I absoultely love the product, yon can kinda go over kill on the product because the little travel size tubes are not lip friendly, you actually have to squeeze it onto your finger and than apply...thats probably the only thing I didn't like.

It was super moisturising as promise and was the only lip ointment that got me through my accutane experience!

Would totally buy again.

Great moisturizer! I use it am and pm for my very dry, sensitive undereye area. Nothing works better IMHO, that I'm aware of.

I love this! I started using this after hearing a bunch of raves about it and it does not disappoint! I originally started using this as a lip balm and you can usually find a set of 3 little tubes for sale in a small box at Walmart, Walgreens, Meijer, etc. This is great for on the go and to keep at your vanity. It has a thick consistency but absorbs well and doesn't irritate or have a scent. Unlike most lip balms, this really seems to moisturize well and lasts. I have since started using this anywhere I have drier skin: cuticles, hands, feet, etc. If using it on hands, feet, etc it does take a second for it to absorb since it is thick but it really does a nice job at smoothing and moisturizing. I have purchased the original and healing ointment but do not know what the difference is and didn't notice a difference between the two....usually the store has only one or the other so I just get what they have in stock. This also lasts a long time so it is worth the price.

Everyone should own a jar of this. It has about 20 different uses and is really affordable. I use this as a lip balm, on my cuticles, on chapped hands and feet, rough patches of skin anywhere, on burns, around my hairline to protect my skin when I color my hair, and tons more. Great product!
