I'm not sure how to rate this, I had a very mixed experience with it. My lips got really chapped and the bottom lip split down the middle, Aquaphor was the only thing I had in the house that was really moisturizing, I had a small sample tube, so I put some of that all over my lips. The pain was immediately relieved, so I kept putting it on for the next several days. I've never seen my lips heal so quickly. However, on the last 2 days that I was using it I started noticing a small rash developing on my upper lip, like little tiny scaly bumps, so I stopped using it, and then both of my lips became extremely dry and flaky! So I used my Caudalie Lip Conditioner for a few days, and they're finally starting to feel normal again. To be honest I'd probably use this again if my lips were really chapped or split because nothing else relieved the pain and healed it so quickly, but I'd only use it on the affected areas, and use it as little as possible, as it seems after several days my lips became dependent and yet allergic at the same time. *shrug*

I absolutely love this product. My lips get extremely chapped, slap it on my lips at night, and in the morning my lips are dramatically better. I think it works much better than Chapsticks.

I use this on my knees, which tend to get dry and somewhat callused.( I'm a mom, and tend to me on my knees cleaning alot). I dont like the greasy feel, but it works well. I put it on before bed. I've used to steady for the last week, and my knees feel alot softer than they had been.

I have been wanting this product for a loonngg time, but could never find it.
In Canada, I finally found it behind the counter in Wal-Mart.
They only had the HUGE tub for $30, but I bought it anyways, already liking the giant jar.
Well, I brought it home and slathered it all over my face, relishing the feeling of protection it gave me.
10 minutes later, I looked in the mirror to see if it had sunk in (regular Vaseline doesn't for me, and I was testing against it's cheaper competitor... the Aquaphor that is. Wait, I was comparing Vaseline and Aquaphor :D)
Anyways, when I glanced in the mirror, I saw that not only was it still sitting on the surace of my skin, I also had huge red marks that turned into hives. All. Over. My. Face.

The hives went away and I looked at my skin again.
I might as well not have put anything on it since my skin was so dry and flaky.

Incredible sadness :(
I even tried it on my lips and it didn't do anything special.

Sorry gals, I'm going to have to pass on this one (although I loved the simple ingredients)

I really thought this was just going to be like plain petroleum jelly after seeing its consistency. I'm so glad I listened to the reviews/raves on MUA - this stuff really works. I use lip balms all day long, and this is the first time in a long time that my lips have felt this soft and conditioned. I don't think it will totally replace all my other lip balms, only b/c this is sort of boring and sometimes I like a scent or something, but I can say I think I will always have some of this around b/c it works so well. Highly recommended, especially considering it is not very expensive.

This was my life saver during a year of Accutane. My derm recommended then and I still use it, years later! Its hardcore skin care, reminds me of upgraded Vasoline, and you can basically use it as a all purpose salve. Bites, burns, flakes, whatev! I like it use it mainly on my lips and my hands and feet (with socks and gloves) overnight. Worth just having it around!

For days and days my lips had been so dry. I tried wearing vaseline at night so they would get moisturized but it didn't work. Then, last night I remembered that my husband had bought this product early this year because his lips were dried by the cold winter weather (he works outside all the time), so I put it on and SURPRISE! All the dryness dissappear in a single night. Now I can wear my MAC Pervette lipstick again!!! Yay

This is my go-to product for so many things. I use it as my facial moisturizer since it works well both at night after my Avita soaks in and in the morning before I apply my industrial-strength Shiseido sunblock. I also use it as a lip balm by itself or under lipstick. It comes in several different types of packaging but I especially like the mini-tubes (2 per pack) since I can stash them everywhere!

I love this product, have been using it for years. I put it on my dry lips and they are instantly moisturized and smooth. This is my go to lips treatment an I even use it on my hands and feet inthe winter months.

For years I used very simple products on my skin and was rewarded with healthy beautiful dewy skin. I got away from many of the simple things in life looking for the holy grail. Little did I know that I already had it in the form of Aquaphor, and other simple oils like Olive Oil, Unrefined Shea Butter, etc. I would purchase all these scented lotions from etailers and retailers but my skin lost that soft dewy look and they didn't really do much to protect my skin. This is where Aquaphor Healing Ointment comes into the picture. At first I was disappointed that I purchased glorified Vaseline. But, this works better and I am convinced it is the addition of Lanolin and other ingredients. I have tried Vaseline but in my opinion Aquaphor works better. I have very dry sensitive skin and I have developed a routine that gets me through the winter and is very cheap. I get out of the shower after washing with something like cetaphil or a mild goatsmilk soap. Then when my face is still damp I put a few drops of extra virgin olive oil or unrefined shea butter on my face. I get dressed and let that soak into my face, then I take just a hint of Aquaphor and emulsify between my finger tips and first tap then smooth all over my face. It takes a few minutes to soak in but once it does I can apply mineral foundation or anything else on top of it. My face is protected from drying out due to indoor forced air heating or the wind and elements outdoors. This combination works better than those fancy $100 face creams. My fine lines are plumped up and I have nice soft dewy skin. If you have really dry skin, this is the routine I suggest for many of you. Give it a try and save a lot of money. Sometimes keeping it simple is the best thing for your skin, in my case this is proof!
