Hear me when I say this is the best lip balm ever. Very little will do, and each application lasts and lasts and lasts. Smells like black tea (Lipton's) to me when it goes on, but fades quicker than the time it takes for you to figure out what it smells like. Perfect at night, and under any gloss or lipstick during the day. I keep one in the car, one is my bag, one in the bathroom and one near my bed. $5.50 for the tube. Jar is cute but I don't like dipping my finger when it gets low. My only request would be a slant tip applicator.

Overall this is a great lip balm. But for everyday, this is a little too slippery and oily, and I prefer my smith's rosebud salve these days as I can use it for my chapped skin as well as my lips. Unfortunately this can't be multipurpose like rosebud cuz it so shiny and slippery, so i took off a lippie. Otherwise, I don't mind the smell, and I like the finish on my lips. Makes them soft.

Overall it's a great product except that it looks too greasy on my lips that I would only apply it at night. My lips feel soft and moisturized when waking up every morning.

I use this every night before I go to bed. So far I've gone through two tubs and one tube, and I also have another tub on standby. I find this balm extremely emollient, with a nice not-too-thick-not-too-runny texture. It's also free of any strange or gimmicky smells. All you're left with is a no frills lip balm that works.

I could never bring myself to give any lip balm a 5 because, well..it's lip balm. That being said, I think that Kiehl's makes a pretty good one. Yes it's expensive, and the pot packaging leaves a lot to be desired. But the balm itself is lightweight and not gooey, both of which are absolute no-no's for me. However I think that the real reason you get bang for your buck with this balm is that it has hidden healing properties!!! It's so gentle that you can put it on cuts, bruises, scars, rashes and burns and it's very soothing and healing. I guess it's just the combination of the ingredients but something about this really works!!! For this reason alone, I think people should give it a chance and check it out.

I'm not sure if this really did much for my lips in the sense that its an over-the-top lip balm, but it made my lips feel softer. It's imperative to use liberally, as the tube directs. Also, don't pay 7-9 bucks for the little .5-oz tube. You can get a little jar with MUCH more... for the same price! Sheesh.

Not only is this a wonderful lip balm, but it is a secret weapon in a couple of other ways. I use it on my cuticles for softening, on cuts or burns for soothing, and on patches of dry skin. It is amazing how fast these things heal by applying this lip balm on them. And one of the regular sized tubs lasts for 2 years! Worth the price!

I absolutely love this!! I am on my 2nd tub & use it on other areas that are dry. Yes, the packaging is not the greatest but at this price much better than the squeeze tubes. Will buy again.

My essential lip balm. Doesn't have any color or smell, but moisturizes wonderfully. It's really expensive, but it does its job and it takes a really long time to use up. I have it both in the pot and in the tube...the pot is kind of a hassle because sometimes it gets under my nails (gross, I know). Still, the product itself is great.

I've used this for years and am quite happy with it. Love both tube and jar. Lasts forever. Very moisturizing and- IMO, no scent. Love it.
