This mascara bites! Why is it so famous??? It does nothing except make me wish I'd saved my 5 bucks. Waste of money!!

I'm really not sure why so much fuss is made over this mascara, I've tried hard to like it but ever time I used it I'd get terrible results; clumping, smudging and my lashes end up looking short and spikey; not something we TRY to achieve when using mascara ,it also takes way too long to dry. In my opinion Maybelline makes much better mascara's than this one, leave the Great Lash on the rack girls, in the long run it's not worth the fuss and the cost if you end up throwing it out with only a few uses.

I think this mascara works great as long as you wipe off the wand before you use it. If I use the wand right out of the tube it gets clumpy and thick and gross. Id probably buy it again if I couldnt find anything else that I liked.

I got this a couple days ago, and I absolutely hate it! It didn't separate my eyelashes at all (clumped them together instead), it didn't lengthen or thicken my eyelashes...the only thing it seemed to do well was smudge all over the place! I definately won't buy this again. I'm dissapointed in maybelline :(

I don't understand it, either. Why do people rave about this mascara?

I can't for the life of me figure out why MA seem to rave about this...clumpy, smudgy, and unnatural looking to boot. I tossed this!

I got the waterproof Great Lash, and I liked it pretty well. In my experience it clumps a little, not a lot, and doesn't flake. It does smear some under unfavorable circumstances (like overnight, or if you go swimming, etc.) but it's worth noting that I have very oily skin around my eyes. The brush is a little fat for my taste. The overall effect- it's good stuff (though I'm really looking for something that gives more length and visibility to my thin blonde eyelashes). I would buy it again, except that after about a month and a half - which I thought was rather a short life span - it dried up, and now I have to spend some ten minutes trying to get it on.

this has to be the worst mascara i've ever tried. it smudges everywhere! and the dinky brush doesn't do anything. no separation, no lengthening qualities and on top of that, it clumps like crazy. ugh.
