Finally found a colorless/scentless lip balm I like more than Vaseline. This makes lips soft, glossy, and last for a long time. I bought the big pot, and since I use this multiple times a day now I think that was a good idea :)

Hm. Not sure what all the hoo-ha is about. Like vaseline -- sits ON My lips without sinking in to soften/condition. I use it sometimes as a gloss now but would rather use other balms that actually do something.

One of the staples of my stash. Not glamorous, not exciting, but it's a perfect night lip conditioner, wonderful cuticle treatment, and it's excellent for outdoor sports.

I SOO wanted to love this lip balm, it's smooth, shiny and it feels good on my lips.. unfortunately the sad truth is I found this to be drying out my lips! =*(
I still use it sometimes on top of lipstick to give that shiny, glossy look.

Bought due to all the reviews. Hated it before I got out of the store! Thin consistancy, ok packaging, high priced petroleum jelly. Did nothing for my chapped lips. Won't repurchase.

I like the pot lip balms better anyway, but im really pleased with this purchase. worth the 5 bucks for the size alone! I like that it has no taste or flavor (to me at least) and makes my lips really soft. a definite repurchase!

i love this product. it's inexpensive, and goes a long way. it makes my lips feel super soft and although it's clear, if i'm wearing just this lip balm, it makes my look seem polished.

I do NOT understand the hype on this product. It's nothing but Vaseline--if not greasier, and virtually does nothing for my lips. It doesn't smell good, feel good, nor work well. I'm passing on this one.

Ok, so there isn't any taste,and you have to use your finger, but I put it on at night and in the morning and throughout the whole day you'll have really soft lips, one application is all you need. the packaging could be better for those who hate to use your finger, and I heard there are lip glosses with the balm already in it, but I say the taste isn't that big of a deal unless you plan to eat it.

I really thought that this lip balm would be an amazingly perfect product... what a shame I found it to work just about as well as pure petroleum jelly. Is this just Vaseline in a tube? I would swear to it! I will definitely stick to Ouidad's Vitamin E stick to moisturize my lips!

Kiehls #1 lip balm is the BEST lip balm. I live in NY, where the winters are dry and windy, this lip balm keeps my lips soft and smooth all through the winter. Sure, it may not taste/smell nice, but hey, you're not suppose to eat your make up! =)

I tried to make this stuff work, but I couldn't get past the smell and taste. It had a very greasy smell and taste. And you could taste its creamy consistency. I did buy this in the tube which I liked and I think for lip balm it's a bit on the pricy side ($5 @ NM).

it's not THAT THAT great. It's super thick and broke me into a rash the first time I used it. After using it again, no more rashes, but after summer when it "melts", it gets all gooey and you have to replace your tube come winter. I like the way it melts into your lips, but it's basically the same as vaseline mixed with some kind of oil. And some people complain about the smell... somethig like diaper cream but I don't really mind. all in all, i'd stick to my cherry chapstick.

I like the Kiehls lip balm -it works well, it stays on. The smell/taste is not offensive - but when I tried Burts Bees....well I kinda switched. hehehe

Very very good. It is a great balm because it does not contain camphor or menthol; these ingredients feel good but cause peeling and drying in the long run.
While it may cost more up front, the pot will last and last. It is an excellent primer for lips if you wear matte lipsticks; your matte lipsticks will apply more smoothly, feel more comfortable and wont dry out your lips.
It is also a great "night cream" for your lips...apply it at bedtime and wake up with supersoft lips.
Some people say it is like Vaseline...but it is not. It contains softening and soothing ingredients whereas Vaseline just make your lips greasy.
Hint: to soften lips overnight, take a few seconds to massage the balm into your lips with your finger.
