This a decent mascara it defines separates and gives a bit of length. However, Loreal Telescopic does the same but better. That being said this is a little cheaper than the Loral one so good if you are on a budget.

It doesn't give me the wow facor so I won't rant and rave about it but it does a decent job.

Verdict - Decent Daytime Mascara

This is a wonderful mascara =D
It really defines my lash! The formula is a bit watery, hence it weighs down my curled eyelashes. Nonetheless, it does it job defining my lashes. It separates them pretty well and it lengthens my lashes. best part: it comes in a green cool looking tube! One of my fav colors.
A little smudge near the bottom outter corners at the end of the day, but no clumps during application =) Clump free~
Would buy again!

at first i thought, wow, i have finally found my cheaper alternative to lancome definicils, but no. smudging under the eyes is a deal breaker for me and this mascara is not long wearing (definicils lasts through sweat, light rain, reading, crying, whatever, and is easy to remove b/c it's not waterproof). However, define-a-lash does lengthen & define, as promised, and 2 coats gives the aesthetic effect of definicils, which btw only takes 1 coat to achieve the same effect. so i go back to spending the $25 it apparently takes to find a good mascara.

I love this mascara! It takes time to get used to the wand, but once you figure it out, applying is a breeze!

Good points-
Lenthens well
Lasts through 24 hours
No flaking
Barely any clumps
Doesn't weigh down lashes
Bristles great for bottom lashes too!

Bad points-
Takes a little bit longer to dry
Needs more than one one coat for it's magic to show (especially to thicken)

I would buy this mascara again!

I should not have bought this - A complete waste of money for me.
I know that mascaras are one of those products where YMMV - All depends on the lashes length, thickness etc to begin with. Anyway.... here's my opinion.
The wand was flimsy, the mascara didn't add volume or length, just coated my lashes in black liquid. It also clumped. I was so unimpressed, I just used it once. That was all. I couldn't bear to use it again.
One lippie as it looked as though I was wearing mascara, but that's about it. I see that it works for others, sadly not for me.

This mascara is just OK, in my opinion...it does NOT give me any volume...it does lengthen like crazy and there's no flaking or smudging, lasts all day too. I just don't like the rubber wand it comes with...I find I have to fight with it to get the wand back into the tube because it bends easily, can get kind of messy when you're in a hurry. So it's good mascara, does a great job of lengthening, but I still love my L'Oreal Voluminous.

I have repurchased this mascara three times already, I love it so much! It is quite thin when i apply it, but im allright with that b/c it is very pigmented and i always apply mascara in multiple layers. This one stays on from morning till night, and there is never any crumbling. And it is very easy to remove also, unlike some of the other Maybelline mascaras. So im very pleased with it.

I love this mascara.
it defines, and its pretty clumpless, even if you put on like 3 layers, it just lengthens and doesnt look all webby or piece-y.
Except, when you use an eye lash curler, it kinda messes them up. this mascara is horrible for curls.

I have a particular addiction to drugstore mascara - i see a new one and i buy it.

Out of all the different brands and fake gimmicks, this is absolutely the best. It defines, thickens and lengthens lashes. With this there is no need to layer another brand or formula, it stands out all alone.

I bought this on sale and it works pretty good. It doesn't give me a lot of volume or anything. But it isn't clumpy and it does help curl my eyelashes.
