I love this blush. I just picked it up today. I think I'm addicted to Nars blushes now. Anyways on first swipe it has a golden sheen, second swipe you see the beautiful peachy glow. The colour is the exact same colour as my natural flush. The gold and bronzy sheen added makes this very unique colour that I havent seen before. The only thing I wish is that the golden sheen was a little more toned down. It's easy to over apply this blush so I'll have to experiment more, but I'm sure this one will be used alot!!! Maybe more than my deep throat which has been my recent HG blush. Im Mac c6/NC43 and 44 for reference.
Update: I still love this blush but I'm using it less often. I find with the sheen, it does accentuate my pores quite alot. I think once I get my pores under control it will be back on my daily use list :)

This is a really pretty blush. It's subtle and natural and looks like you're glowing from within. I think it's universally flattering and any skin tone can wear this.

Definitely a staple of mine. It's like a VERY light Taj Mahal (my fave!) and is very wearable. Luster and Orgasm must be the most wearable NARS shades- can't go wrong with either. Luster stays true to its name and gives me a light luster that is slightly warm and very flattering. I wear this to work everyday almost. Love it!

Another NARS blush I looooove. The reviews below describe this well - apricot, glowy, lit-within. It's absolutely gorgeous! It instantly warms my face up and makes me look more awake. I've always stayed in my safe zone with pinks and corals, but due to MUA rave review I had to venture out and very glad I did. Now I'm a NARS addict and can't stop buying!!!
For reference, I am NC37, Asian, dry skin

Although NARS blushes are notoriously pricey, they are probably better known for their unparalleled pigmentation, expansive color variety, and wearable matte or satin formulations. These revolutionary blushes are probably the most coveted of any others, and their qualities make them worth the money everytime.
I first saw Luster during a Youtube review by a male beauty guru, and his description of it was enchanting. And although we lacked similar coloring, I had to give this mysterious peach blush the benefit of the doubt.
I'm glad I did because Luster has now become my go-to, default-to, first-in-command blush. With light skin and blonde hair, I was afraid a peach blush would look like a fake tan beginning to wear off my face. No no no. When this goes on the skin, it transforms itself. It goes from a true peach, to a beautiful salmon-pink. The delicate gold shimmer adds life to the flush of color it gives, overall giving your face a unique and subtle radiance.
I will never be without this blush again.

Love this color! Nars blushes are the absolute best! I have Orgasm, and while it's pretty in the summer when I have a bit of a tan, it can be a bit garish in the winter when I'm pretty pale. Luster just gives me a natural looking flush. Very pretty, just the right amount of shimmer. In other reviews, I've read that this blush looks nice on olive skin tones. I'm pretty fair without overly pronounced yellow or red tones, and I think it looks pretty good on me, too!

First of all, I am a blush virgin. I have rosacea and therefore have always shied away from blush as I'm red-enough-as-it-is-thank-you-very-much! I'm so happy the NARS ladies made me try this because it really brightens up my face and makes me look more awake.
Another strange thing about me liking this blush is that I normally hate everything coral and peachy, yet I find this colour blush very flattering on me. I dab my MAC 187 brush on the blush twice and blow off the excess. I then gently sweep it onto my cheekbones and suddenly I don't look like death warmed over anymore!

An amazing blush! Love this. I wanted to buy Laguna, but as they were sold out of it i went for this instead.. really glad i did! I then ended up buying Laguna a few weeks later! Luster is a peachy gold with shimmer and it gives my cheeks a lovely peachy gold glow. I layer mine over laguna and the result is really nice - a peachy bronze shade.
I am C40 and this is great on my warm olive skin tone.

I am a huge makeup junkie, but I can never bring myself to buy really pricey makeup. I've always wanted NARS products, which of course is one of the priciest brands of makeup. So when I got a Sephora gift card for my birthday I knew what brand I would get. Nars.
I decided to research what product I would get the most use out of. I ruled out Orgasm just because I had tried it before and it seemed overhyped. The blushes from Nars are always talked about so I went into that arena. I looked through all the blushes and one stole my heart. Luster.
I had seen raving reviews about Luster online. It was described as a peachy-gold. Ideal for olive-medium skin tones, I fell in love with the idea of Luster. So with my Sephora gift card in hand I rushed to my mall.
Now that I've had Luster for a few months now, I'm glad to say I'm very glad that Luster was the first product I purchase from Nars. Luster gives a GORGEOUS golden peach glow to your cheeks that is completely dupeless. The texture is great, its pigmented and a little goes a long way.
The blush comes with 4.8 grams of product which will last me a long time. When I do run out of this I know for a fact I will be repurchasing this. Thank god for Nars!

Pros: The quality, pigmentation, and packaging of this is really nice, of course, it is NARS.
Cons: While reviews said that this looks nice on most medium olive skin tones, I have a medium olive skin tone and it didn't work for me! Putting a swatch on my finger, it was a nice tan golden color but when I put it on my cheeks, this gave me a very red color! Not the look I was going for...

I admit, I bought Luster without swatching it first. I red the glowing reviews in makeupalley.com and straight away put in the order for this. On the pan the colour is peachy gold with gold shimmer. The shimmer in Luster is more subtle than Orgasm. Unfortunately, the colour on my cheek isn't as pretty as on the pan. It looks a bit dirty on my cheek, makes my whole face duller. I cannot use this as bronzer too because of the shimmer and the colour is too peachy for a bronzer. The texture of this blush is softer than Orgasm and like any other NARS blushes it is easy to blend. http://aboutagirl.onsugar.com/Review-NARS-Blushes-Swatches-11880958

Surprisingly amazing blush. I am NC 43 for reference. I usually prefer a brighter cheek---the color I naturally flush. NARS Torrid is my all time HG for that.
However, sometimes you just want a low key look, especially with smokey eyes. Ladies here suggested LUSTER and at first i wasn't impressed in the pan. Seemed pale and even on the cheek looked a little light. But when it settled in, was a pretty peachy 'glow'. I look natural but better heh. THis is what I wanted NARS Lovejoy to be.
This is the winterized version of my summer HG Taj Mahal.
Pretty happy--only issue ever with NARS is price. Thanks so much for the suggestion guys.

Great soft, apricot glowy color, almost peachy with the barest pink to it still, which surprised me as I was expecting no pink. It goes on more pink red than golden apricot. I am not sure why, as I have very yellow/golden skin undertones. As with other NARS blushes and lip colors it is highly pigmented. UPDATE: This has become my HG blush. While it has a bare hint of pink it really comes off apricot and glowy. JUST LOVE IT. Still wish it came with a brush.

I love all of NARS blushes because of their super duper pigmented in color. This one is no different, but instead of giving off color, Luster give me a nice glow to my skin. Don't really know how to explain it,but my makeup just instantly look more refined and sophisticated. I look more put together everytime i wore this blush.

The only blush from nars that looks good on me. I like natural makeup and when I use this, it gives me just that. It makes you look glowy without being OTT. It shows up really nice and not too shimmery like orgasm. A little goes a long way, so I think the price is pretty reasonable. I can't go without this. I'm nc42 black-asian, and this is a WINNER!!!!!!!

I LOVE THIS BLUSH! I'm an NC42 and this blush gives me just the right amount of "glow." I had purchased Madly first but felt it wasn't worth the $26 so I exchanged it for Luster, which is peachier and compliments my warm undertones beautifully. Every time I wear this I get compliments on my "glow." I feel I have to use a denser blush brush (I use Coastal Scent's contour brush) and then I buff it out with a kabuki brush. I use this so much that I now have a small dent in the pan (which says a lot). Would repurchase!

I am OBSESSED with this blush. I purchased this December '09, and have used it pretty much every day since then. I am fair to medium complexion, and it gives me such a beautiful glow. In the summer time, I was even more in love. Because with a tan, I glowed with Luster on my cheeks. This is my HG blush, and I will repurchase this over and over!
