I have long been a fan of Benefit lipsticks so when I read about this formula (thank MUA) I knew that I would have to give them a try. I have found a silky finish color that I absolutely love called Dessert First. On my, almost without any pigment lips, this is a sheer pinky-mauve with no shimmer. This lipstick goes on smooth, feels very moisturizing and has surprising staying power. I love the look and feel of this lipstick and will definitely be going back in the near future to look for more colors.

Skinny Dip (from the Lana collection) is a soft, rosey nude that doesn't drain my face of color the way many nude shades do (I'm a neutral-cool PPP.) The Silky Finish texture is creamy and semi-sheer, and it's moisturizing too. However, it just doesn't stay put on my lips! It slips and slides. For a sheer lipstick, I'll probably stay with Sue Devitt and Paul & Joe from now on.

This lipstick is just like a lip gloss but better, coz its much easier and takes less time to apply than a gloss, its so shiny and not dry. I got the sugar cookie, this one doesn't have too much pigment though and has lots of sparkles. I would be interested in trying out other colors for sure. I was very surprised with this lipstick by benefit coz normally their products sucks.

Skinny Dip is a warm pinky nude - just gorgeous on my light olive, very warm and yellow skin. I can't use pinks with any hint of coolness and this one is very warm. It's perfect. These lipsticks are nice and creamy, lots of pigment and they last a little longer than MAC Slimshines - but they're also more drying than the Slimshines. The Slimshines are a little creamier. Overall, I love Benefit, and these lipsticks are no exception.

EWWW I hated this lipstick!! The colors looked so pretty and I liked the packaging-nice slant tip for the lips, but the formula is sooo glittery and griddy. The shade wore off quickly, and just left specs of glitter on my lips. I hated the way the glitter felt, it was so chunky and rough on my lips. This was not a silky feel at all!

I purchased three of these: Candy Store, a sparkling peachy sheer pink, Breathless, a grapey mauve with shimmer and Fruit Cocktail, a mauvey, shimmery red tone. I love the formula. No taste or perfume in these and they are sheer but strangely long lasting. I find them to be moisturizing and comfortable to wear.

I'm fair skinned, but opted for Liar Lips, a deep neutral from the Betty collection. I like some color on my lips, and I liked that this one has a creamy texture, which does not dry out my dry lips. Overall, this lipstick gives my pale, pink lips a rosy punch of color with some shine. Very nice for day or night. I'm intrigued to try a real nude, so that will probably be the next one I try.

I have Ms. Behavin. Love it. A perfect wine. I'm fair, pink undertones and silver hair. This is one of those lipsticks I'll need two of. One for my make-up bag and one for my purse.

Well I got the Hug it out in the Lana collection. I think I should've got one from the Gabbi collection instead, because I need a bit more color(that's the only reason I gave it 4 instead of 5). But I do like the glossy feel. This is a very natural mauve w/ the slightest hint of brown. It barely shows up on me but it does add nice gloss. Works well on no m/up days or running out the door fast. Gloss & lipstick in 1 step, gotta love that;). For referrence I'm NW20.
EDIT: I'm really loving this color. I use with a lip liner to make it a bit darker & because it tends to bleed. It's now one of my favorites, love the color & how moisturzing it feels. So I purchased 2 more in Good to Go(pretty but nothing that special for the $, so might return) & Hold it(nice dark fall color).

Silky-Finish Lipsticks are part of a new line of natural shades in three levels of depth from fair to deep. I tried the shade Make Nice from the Lana (fair) category. Make Nice is a pinky-mauve shade with shimmer and a slightly sheer, glossy finish. It's an easy to wear shade and looks great paired with Dallas blush. I took off one lippie since these lipsticks tend to lose some gloss and dry my lips slightly with time. Other than that, Silky-Finish Lipsticks are very nice. The picture is of Make Nice on my bare lips in natural sunlight.

Usually I don't go for sheer, glossy lipsticks but WOW! These are just fantastic. Sugar Cookie is the perfect shimmery nude. It looks great alone, over liner or over lipstick. It makes my lips look wet and sexy but doesn't run or smear like glosses. Swoonderful is a silvery mauve that is pale but doesn't look washed-out. Both have a nice sheen and are soft and beautiful. I have 2 more coming from Sephora. I hope more of you will try these lipsticks, they are a real treat to wear. The texture is slick and glossy but in a good way, not like you just gargled with olive oil. Benefit has been a "sleeper" brand for me. I seldom buy from this line but I have found 2 HG products: their powder eyeshadow in Buckle Bunny and now these lipsticks. The packaging is just plain fun with images of 1950's style dolls. Based on this I am now dedicated to buying from this line more often.

A very nice highly pigmented glossy lipstick. Makes my lips appear fuller and feel moisturized. I have Jing-a-Ling which might be a tad light for my lips but I fix that with a slightly darker lipliner.

Oh so nice!!!!!! I am usually a chapstick and lipgloss girl, but I adore this new lipstick line. soooooooo creamy and smooth, it keeps my lips moist and full. the first lipstick I think I will be wearing a lot. I have this in skinny dip and it is a lovely, my-lips-but-better color. sooo many great shades in this line! not sticky at all. stays creamy for a long time and the color has great lasting power. I might be in love! the packaging is adorable too. check them out....a definite reccommend for lipstick and gloss girls alike!

These new lipsticks by BeneFit are so lusciously moist and feel so comfortable on the lips! Some are creamy, some sheer, and some have shimmer, and the color selection is beautiful. The lipstick shape is really nice, it's just a simple chiseled angle and no weird point or curve. The formula is glossy and glides on smoothly with no drag or dryness whatsoever. I cannot wait to get more of these!
