I have this in 71 Abricote Clair, and I really love this product! It gives a natural coverage, and looks great set with powder (I use Rimmel's Stay Matte). This foundation also stays put for a good 6-7 hours, and it's only £9 here in the UK! I recommend this product throughly. Although I have to warn you, when you pump it out, it can pump too much, so be a bit soft on it. And the consistency is quite thin, so it is quite runny.

Wow! What a great product! I have this in 73 Beige Clair. I love this foundation more than my beloved Lise Watier or EA Flawless Finish. This is a very light, liquidy oil-free foundation with a pump dispenser – it has buildable coverage that gives an absolutely amazing radiant and rested complexion. It has vitamins and minerals, and a pleasant scent - but all I know is that it’s amazing – I look flawless with this product plus a touch of the Bourjois mineral radiance pressed powder – it lasts all day and I know I look amazing in it. I usually have oily breakthough during the day and even though this product seems to go on with a slight sheen, it doesn’t go oily during the day – wow!! Moist and soft feeling all day. Highly recommended. I'm wearing this in my most recent photos.
UPDATE: I have bought again, and will buy again. Although I still have my Lise Watier foundation and Liz Arden Flawless Finish and will use them once in a while, this is my go-to everday foundation - I still love it and that's saying something! I will say, the better my skin, the better this weight of coverage. I notice if my skin is bad, this doesn't cover it - but that just motivates me to take care of my skin. So easy to use - I use a Beauty-Blender type damp sponge and it's a treat to use this foundation.
UP-UPDATE: Another update to this great foundation. Just bought my 3rd or 4th bottle today. For several months I've been using my Lise Watier foundation (mentioned above and I have a glowing review for it) but boy was it letting me down - I thought it was my skin (ladies your skin will change drastically as you age!) so I kept using the Lise, and I scrubbed and exfoliated like crazy - but then I would put on the Lise foundation and constantly had flakey skin, dry patches showing, and the foundation just sat on top of my skin - you could actually see 'finger brush' marks - it wouldn't blend. Several mornings I had to go the bathroom and scrub it off and start again because it was so disgusting looking - #%*$. Then I remembered I had my Sleep Effects Foundation and pulled it out (I usually use it in summer and it's winter now) - and voila!!! All the troubles I was experiencing just disappeared - wow. My pores are minimized, no flakes, no settling into lines, and i can blend easily without even looking in the mirror. And all for an affordable $26 bucks! BARGOON!!!
Update: Just bought another bottle (5th?) - still my go-to foundation.

I think my skin is just too oily for this, which is a shame coz the colour and texture is stunning, on application it looks amazing but just slides off real quick which is pretty gutting.

I really really liked this when i got it but after a week i got breakouts from it - just too oily! at first when i put it on its looks great but within in an hour the light dewwyness just looks like oily and shiney.

The colour is perfect for me so i was disapointed but this would be great for someone with dry skin or that is happy to wear powder over it.

First off, I have to say that I love the tiny spouted pump. It's pretty hard to over do it when pumping onto a foundation brush. However, I find it takes me quite a while to blend this product. The sales lady color-matched me with rose clair, and while for the first few days I thought it matched well, it actually ended up being quite pale with a pinkish undertone on me. I am not someone who has oily skin, in fact, I can get quite dry in the winter, but this product actually turned shiny and slid off of my face within a matter of a few hours. For the price, 10 hr sleep effect isn't worth a repurchase for me, but there are some pros to this foundation that other people may like (i.e packaging, smell, consistency in the bottle, etc)

I love this foundation~! I could never really use a liquid foundation because it would make my face break out (clinique superfit foundation is one of the very many). However, this foundation doesn't make me break out and its feels as if I'm putting on a moisturizer! It is VERY runny, but thats what I like about it.

I continue my quest to find my HG fndt. and not sure that I have found it or not with this product. I think I need to give it some more time thus this review is based upon initial impressions (approx 5 days)

Colour: excellent match for my C1 NC15 skin (evened out my skin very nicely)

Coverage: light to medium but totally buildable and feels light ( applied it with 187 only)

Lasting power: does not last 10 hours more like 5 and doesn't make my face overly oily

Formula: very runny, smells wonderful.

So, I will wait and see so far so good.

I bought this foundation because Bourjois was 50% off at my local Priceline and i was interested in trying out their foundations. I was unsure on whether I wanted to try 10 hour sleep effect or the new brush foundation. After much thought and debate amongst myself i decided to go for the 10 hour sleep effect. It contains 30ML of product, whereas the other foundation only contains 16ML of product. Also sleep effect was $1.50 cheaper, retailing at AUD$15.50. I got this in 73 Beige Claire (FYI I am an NC25/30). When i wore this the first time i wasn’t initially happy with the result. It gave me light coverage, that didn’t help with covering my imperfections. A lot of reviewers here mentioned to wear concealor with this foundation, but i hate wearing concealor! I feel like i am irritating my blemishes and suffocating my face – i only wear concealor on special occasions.

Anyway, I went out to a catch up with my friends at a cafe, and it was then that I realised where the 10 hour sleep effect title came from. I caught a glimpse of myself in a mirror-like picture frame on my way in and hurried to the bathroom. I was so shocked with what i saw; my face looked so glowy and healthy! It didn’t look flawless by any means, but there was a healthy glow that made me look fresh and energised! Seriously i have never experienced anything like this. I am amazed. I’ve been wearing this for the past 2 weeks, this is now up there for me along with my Chanel!

This is a nice light foundation. The quality is excellent for a DS brand.

Its very liquidy. It smells great. stings a bit.

The coverage is not as light as suggested by some reviewers if you stipple it. ITs actually a great foundation for stippling because it is so lightweight.

The color range is on the peachy pink side so the closest match for me is not great for my olive/yellow NC25 skin (DIOR 021; Chanel 020; NARS Fiji).

I like it ok. I would probably repurchase if I was low on cash and wanted a reliable light DS foundation.

Def recommend if that sounds like you.

I absolutely adored this foundation. I was originally lured to the product with the 10hour rest claim. As a girl that is never able to get a full night's sleep, finding any sort of foundation that could at least give me the appearance of sleep is important. The finish is very light, the consistency is very fluid, and this foundation is probably ideal for only those that are looking for light coverage.

I got this one after finishing my Bourjois Repulpant Reboosting Collagen Foundation. They smell exactly the same as well as the colour (I got this in colour 72 and the last one in shade 62.). But the formula is entirely different. This is runnier and I think the coverage is more sheer. I mean, this is actually a nice foundation if you have pretty good skin. But it just does not work out for me. I have too many blemishes. Now I am mixing this with a primer to make the primer tinted. I don't think I will buy it again.

This foundation's minal enriched formula perfected my skin beyond belief! I can now wear foundation knowing it doing me good, and my skin has never loved me so much!
It doesn't produce a cakey effect or block my pores and the formula is oil-free so it doesn't slide off or look shiny.
I have nearly finished a whole bottle, and because its so fluid and liquid-y it has lasted me for ages.
The smell reminds me of apricots, it doesn't bother me because I like sweet fragrances, and it wears off after the application process or once set with powder, so it really didn't matter.
All in all a product I would recommend and would buy again.

I love the effect. A dreamy perfect matte doll look. But on my oily skin, won't last an hour whenever I go out. I really want to use this, but I cant.

This is actually a really nice foundation. It does make you look well rested and glowy, the coverage is nice and not too heavy. It didn't make me break out or anything but all the colours are quite yellow so none of the colours were right for me. I would get it again if they made more colours

Since I have a pale skin with a slightly greyish- yellow undertone, the thought of a fresh-faced and rested look was quite appealing. However, I also had to take into account my oily skin; I was pleasantly surprised with this foundation- it has a lovely texture, light consistency and is very easy to apply (doesn't need a lot of blending). In addition, it didn't cause any breakouts and, as it promised, left me with a healthy- looking complexion.
On the other hand, the coverage is not quite heavy enough for me, and it does need reapplying throughout the day (as well as adding some powder on top). I'm also not a huge fan of the packaging- although it has a useful pump (winning over the Revlon Colorstay Softflex in this category), the bottle is not transparent, therefore making it impossible to know exactly how much is left in the bottle. Another downside (at least for me) is the colour range- I was not able to find a shade without the pink undertone.
Overall, an affordable foundation with medium coverage, which is okay for oily skin (does not look cakey), however might work better with dry and normal skin types. Still, I would repurchase it and use during the summer, or when I don't need a heavy coverage.

I love this foundation...my HG so far. Before it was Loreal True Match but I've since converted to this. This foundation makes my skin look almost flawless!! And the color is a perfect match for my light olive skintone (I use shade 72, rose clair), It doesn't even look like I have foundation on, but it conceals uneven skintone, rough bumps and the some acne scars perfectly! So I just look like I have naturally smooth, bright skin as opposed to dull and sallow skin.

There's only one con with this product for me. It makes my skin look shiny especially in pictures if I don't have loose powder on, even though I don't normally have oily skin. But anyhow, the shade and coverage and the way it makes my skin texture look smooth and rested, makes this a good enough product enough for me to overlook that. I can always use dab on some compact powder to take care of a shiny face. I really love this stuff :) Easily the best foundation I've ever owned in terms of quality as well as price.

I think this would be the perfect foundation for normal-dry skin types with dull and sallow skin. Slightly oily or combination skin types better come prepared with compact powder to pat over shiny areas every few hours. If you have very oily/acne-prone skin, you best stay away!

I would like to give this product 4.5 actually.

I need a great coverage due to uneven skin tones and scars that blemishes has left me in recent months. I also have extremely dry skin that most foundations i have tried let me down on.

Coverage. At first it was marketed as a product that gives ' a fresh natural dewy look' and I did not expect it to perform really well. Over time I realise that this product has a good coverage which evens out my skin tone although it is a not perfect red spot coverer. I always have to use a concealer which often does not have the same colour tone as this product. I end up doing a powder on as well too make the concealed area even etc.. So at the end my skin does not look dewy at all.

Ladies with similar skin condition like me tend to look for a perfect coverage, especially on particular areas, may experience a similar thing as above.

Duration is quite good as the colour lasts more than several hours with my extreme dry skin. My skin feels more comfortable when I wear this instead of other drugstore brands such as Maybelline, Rimmel or LOReal.

Although it is a pumping bottle packaging, the pump allows for control over whichever amount you prefer.

I normally try to use foundation brush to apply, but this product is actually applied nicely with finger tips. It's liquidy nature makes the brushed texture stand out when applied on with a brush. My 187 does not help either.

It's quite moisturising and surprisingly long lasting but I doubt whether it would work great on oily skin too. Also there is a little let down with coverage too.

I was nervous about buying this because i've had so many disappointments with foundations. It had great reviews here so i gave it a go.....wow! It really shocked me. My skin is oily/combination with some acne scarring and fine line around the eyes and mouth. Colorwise, i'm between light/medium to medium, neutral/yellow toned but with some pink tones. I like my make up to play up the yellowness of my skin. Mac studio fix fluid has been my staple diet ranging from NC30 to NC37 (dependent on the season but makes me look tired and lined at the end of the day. I wanted something more natural. So with that in mind i mixed 3 moderate pumps of sleep effect (in beige clair) with i small pump of Mac studio fix fluid NC35 applied with a brush and a very light dusting of Mac studio fix powder in NC30. Perfect. Even after it oxidized my skin looked like my skin instead of just make up. And after 11hrs in an aircon environment with only one powder touch up it looked great. The coverage is pretty sheer but because the liquid is quite runny it covers quite well. Ironically there was no transfer and it looks fresh. You may need some concealer but not much. It isn't matt or shiny, just a slight radience like natural skin. I'm very impressed considering i've tried nearly every foundation on the market. Try it, i doubt very much you'll be disappointed even if you only use it as a base.

This is the product for those with good skin. It's very thin and sits on the skin perfectly, but has minimal coverage. I used it one summer and my skin looked great in photos, it was like I had a natural glow. However, it tends to get oily so I wouldn't really recommend it in the summer time unless you stay indoors a lot.
