I really like this as a highlighter--I can't use it all over because it emphasizes my fine lines...strategically placed though, it's gorgeous. I love to look at it because it's so pretty LOL I will not pay $40 plus for it on ebay though...maybe it will make a return in the future??? If so, I'll stock up because I use it every day. LE products that I adore make me angry. BTW, I gave it a 4 lippie rating on price because like I said, on ebay they're way overpriced. Normally though, $24.50 is very reasonable considering how long the MSF's last...

Well, I really like Lightscapade I think there are many good dupes out there. I had this faze where I collected all the MSF's (well except for pleasureflush ) but I am wayyy beyond that now. Basically, this is the only one I kept because I find it very useful and pretty. I use it to highlight my browbone and cheekbones. I have been using it for about 1.5 years and holy crap does this sucker last! It doesn't even look half gone and I use it almost everyday! So from that standpoint it is great value. I will continue to use it, and not swap it away (until I find something I like even more). Bonus points because it smells soooooo goood.

Lightscapade is beautiful to look at but I agree with previous reviews it's nothing that special. Especially since this is discontinued, it's really nothing to hunt around for.... I was literally obsessed with Lightscapade for months because I missed the chance to buy it and felt this compulsive rage I "need" it. Now that I own it, it's indeed very pretty to look at and serves many purposes as a highlighter but there's plenty out there thans not LE that does a great job. I think I might try NARS Albatross but for some reason nothing seems to win me over like my cheapo NYX Mosaic Highlighter... I don't really know why. Nothing has provided a highlight sheen but that $5 gem. I'll still keep Lightscapade because I collect a lot of MSFs that are suiting to my skin (NC15) but this is one you can pass if you don't have a need to collect them all.

I bought this purely because of how beautiful it looks in the pan. I love seeing it in my drawer, it is very pretty. I do not however think it is anything particularly special. I use it as a highlighter on the t-zone, and for that purpose it works just fine, but like I said, nothing special. To get any pay-off quite a bit needs to be used, but alas, then my skin looks like shimmer city, very chalky and enhances the appearence of large pores. I have yet to use this as a lite, all over powder. It does give a very faint, glowy result, but I only notice this if i am really looking for it. I can not put this on and still look exactly the same. I was using this as my highlighter, but now that I have MAC Sculpt and Shape, this lies forgotten in favour of the fabulous highlighter in the Sculpt and Shape. Still a pretty product, but I am not heartbroken that it is an LE, and would not purchase again, simply because it is quite unremarkable (apart from its deceiving beauty in the pan), and I can find the same in other products. I also dont think I will ever finish it anyway, it lasts forever. I am not dissapointed that I bought it, becuase I did only buy it because of its prettyness (that and I loved the Danse promo pics), and it is not a bad products, just unremarkable.

I missed the original release of this so purchased it on ebay above retail. This is really gorgeous on and does deliver the glow from within that I've been looking for. I've used this to highlight my cheeks, bridge of nose, chin and above the eyebrows. Might try it as an all over powder tomorrow. And it's also beautiful to look at in the pan.

This is basically invisible on my skin. It barely shows up. I have to layer it on to see anything, and by then it just looks chalky. Nars Albatross is 100% times better, or better yet, Mac vanilla pigment works better. Lightscapade is USELESS.
for reference, I am fairly light skinned, NW25.

Oh how I wish this wasnt LE!! I was 150% suprised by this product. At first glance I didnt think much of it...on my brush I didnt think much of it but when I applied it on my skin I was blown away!! This is hands down the most amazing highlighter I have ever used. For reference I am NC15 by MAC standards and shade #20 in MUFE face and body and mat velvet+. I have blonde hair and green eyes. This gives a very natural looking glow and really makes my cheekbones pop. I own almost every shimmerbrick that has been made available and while I love my shimmerbricks, lightscapade gives me a much more natural highlight. I think this also works great for me because I am very pale. I dont know how well this would work for someone with a darker skintone but I would highly recommend it for those who are pale. In addition to applying this on top of my cheekbones if I apply it under my eye with a sweep of my MAC 188 it really makes my eyes look wider and brighter. If this product ever is repromoted I will definetly stock up. Its AMAZING!! The texture is soft and easy to apply and blend...the only bad thing I can say about lightscapade is that it is LE!!! This is definetly my favorite highlighter and when its gone I will miss it forever!!

LOVE this stuff. An absolutely gorgeous highlight. I sweep it lightly across the apples of my cheeks and along my temples everyday to give me a nice, youthful glow (okay - I'm 22, but I swear it makes me look 10 years younger! haha). I searched forever for someone who would swap this away to me, and I'm absolutely thrilled I found someone. I'd definitely purchase this again if they every bring it out of retirement.

Wish this was permanent! A mix of soft, pastel pink, lavender, blue, green and yellow! So gorgeous in the container, but amazing on skin. Gives this amazing soft glow. I can't explain just how much I love this!!

I love this MSF. Its so easy to use & you can't mess up with it. With the other MSFs that I own, they are a little too dark and you can tell where it is placed on the face, but with lightscapade, i love how it looks above my blush, right on top of the apples of my cheeks. Would definitely buy again, but not for over $28 :) try it!

My absolute favorite MSF, hands down! It turns my skin into a freshwater pearl... in the best sort of way!!! I love how this MSF works- it looks like a total mishmash of colors- pinks, greens, blues, yellows... all marbelized. And yet, you put it on and it's the PERFECT hightlighter. I rarely give rave reviews but I love this one, I really do! I've been trolling around online in hopes of buying more-- I already have 2!

Me - NC30, some redness, sensitive, congested pores, oily skin. My favourite skinfinish. Beautiful colour in the package and beautiful finish on the skin. I was very apprehensive to buy this as it was described to have lots of pink veining.. I ended up buying ones like shimpagne and global glow which were too dark/beige for my skin anyhow. This is not as sparkly or loose as global glow, I ended up using several applications to pick up the same quantity of product which one gentle tap on global glow did! The finish was a nice sheer frosty colour which was similar to Laura Mercia's secret brightening powder. Very sheer micro shimmer, no chunks of glitter or glaringly obvious shades of pink. MSFs use weird ingredients for their powder base, something my skin was not used to so began to have a slight itch straight away - but settled in within a few mins. I use this on the entire face and don't layer it as eye shadow or a highlighter. I think this will last me for a long time, but would not keep backups as there are always many more products out there to try.

it looks really pretty in the pan, but when it's on my skin i don't really see a difference. i know it's meant just a highlighter, but it doesn't even do an amazing job of that...nevertheless, i love it simply because it looks amazing in the package!

I've had a love/hate relationship with this highlighter product for a while. I was suckered in by how it looks in the packaging- it reminds me of a modern version of Guerlain meteorites. In the beginning I found it way too subtle to make a difference at all but then I realized it actually makes THE perfect daytime highlighting product. It really adds oomph without being over the top. Extra points for being so pretty and fun to use when applying makeup; I like the way it looks sitting on top of my vanity.

My favourite product for a lit from within glow! I passed on this when it first came out as it just looked weird to me, but caved as the reviews started to come in. I brush it all over my face when doing full-on makeup, or on cheekbones for a subtle glow. It makes me look healthy and airbrushed. If it wasn't LE I would definitely buy it again.

Lightscapade is a must have MSF for pale porcelain skin. The color is a marbleized mixture of shimmery pink, blue and yellow swirled together and baked in a pan. It has a silvery base to it and is quite pastel colored. I imagine that this might look ashy on dark/warm skin or not show up at all, but it's perfect for pale pinkish cool-toned skin like mine. It makes my skin glow without looking like I have highlighter on. I use it on the tops of my cheekbones, temples, brow bones, inner eye corners and anywhere else that I'd like to highlight.

This has to be my favorite MSF ever. Nothing else even comes close. MAC must have broken the mold after they made this one because the newer (and most of the older ones I tried) are nothing like it in terms of texture and shimmer. No glitter particles here, just a lovely glowy candlelit shimmer that makes my skin look like porcelain. I use it as a highlighter, to lighten up blushes I went a bit heavy-handed with, as an all-over glow and on my eyes. This is one I really should have gotten a backup of, but knowing MAC they'll probably re-realease it later, or something very similar. Until then I'll faithfully use the one I have with the clear conscience that it's worth every penny, unlike some of the others.

I think Lightscapade and Stereo Rose has got to be my two most favorite MSFs that Mac has ever produced (and believe me I had most of them, cept Pleasureflush.) Lightscapade is awesome for giving an all overglow and the soft swirls of colors are great for evening the skintone. For me that is. Just a little goes a long way. I'll be sad when I run out of it but based on the fact that my Stereo Rose still has its dome, I shouldn't worry tooo much.

Why on earth did I not like this? Couldn't get it to show up for ANYTHING, and even though I'm the palest of the pale...this just made me that much more pasty. You know, what would show up...! My go-to highlighter is the underrated Shimpagne!

I looooove this. First thing I have ever bought a back-up of! Too bad it's LE. I have pale, dull skin, and this stuff gives it the best glow without being sparkley. It's lovely!
