I can finally use the mascaras that I love without worrying about smearing! It also keeps my eyeliner in place. This is just a great product. I would definitely purchase again!

Expensive for what you get, but it seems to work alright. I only use this to set my eye makeup. I found it tends to remove mascara, so I apply much more than I need before I use she laq over it. Eyeshadow lasts a very long time on me when I apply this. Only downside is that you need to apply she laq very carefully, or it can remove make up, or if it gets into your eyes it will hurt like anything! This is the only way I've found my eye makeup to stay on the whole day in summer though. I won't be buying again, because it's sooo expensive and is not a HG product for me. Also you need to store it upright, one time the lid stuck to the bottle because of a small amount that had dribbled on the outside when I used it. Note the bottle will last forever though, because you need hardly any for it to work. I have sensitive skin so would never use this on my cheeks.

Ive used this for years. It is liquid hairspray but hairspray does not work as good as this, so I shell out the $30 for it every other year or so. it really does last, I just use mine on my eyebrows to seal the color in. the only complaint I have is the bottle, the lid will get gunky and it gets hard to twist off. It seams to only happen when its a new supply. I just wipe it off with warm cloth (the brush stem will remove for cleaning!). It also does not travel well on plane (if checked--leaks bad). I have to close mine tightly and store it in a mini ziplock bag and carry it on with me. but my current bottle has flown with me probably 7 times in the last year and its still kicking! when this bottle runs out ill keep it for traveling only and just refill a little bit with my new one.

I've been using this for years now. My eyeliner, no matter what brand, always runs and smudges. I use a little on a thin brush and put over my eyeliner. No smudges. Be careful not to get too close to lashline; as it will burn if you get this in your eyes. Basically, a staple in my makeup bag. Pricey, but I can't be without it now.

I have oily skin and whether a mascara is waterproof or not, it still smears on me. With the She Laq I can wear nonwaterproof masacara, and no raccoon eyes! The She Laq will burn your eyes if it comes in contact with them. The bottle can leak if not closed properly and can get stuck if some of the product sticks to the lip of the bottle. I would still buy it again because it works!

this is the most amazing product!!
I've used it over eyeshadow, liner, lippy, brows......pretty much everything and she-laq keeps it all in place till I decide to take it off. use it on my brows every day, before I usually ended up with at least one brow with half missing after I'd accidentally rubbed it off during the day or had a nap and smeared it on the pillow. but this keeps it all tip-top even through a full day and a night's sleep (after a big night out!) hehe
as others have said, you only need the tiniest amount otherwise it WILL smear your shadow/liner etc and go all gluey, but a small amount and a very light touch (and keeping your eyes almost closed till it dries) will give you great results. I'm on my second bottle now, the first lasted best part of 2 years even with a slight leak. I don't know whether it's supposed to be used for that long but it's not done my skin any harm to do so.
it is a bit on the expensive side for what seems like such a small bottle, but for the amount of time it lasts it's definately well worth the cost

I was skeptical about buying this, seeing how expense it was, and the mixed reviews, however I am very glad I purchased She Laq. I use this for my eyeliner, mascara and eyeshadow. Let me tell you that I had TROUBLES with my makeup smearing. Now, even on my greasy greasy greasy lids, my eyeshadow stays put, my long lashes(caused smears on both underneath and on top), my mascara never smears, and most important: My eyeliner, which used to give me MAJOR racoon eyes(it used to look like i was crying!!!) doesnt budge! I cannot speak highly enough of this incredable product!

I love this! At first I was hesitant to buy this because of the reviews. I was afraid that it'll sting my eyes... and the price is a bit of a turn off. It works like a charm. A small bit of sealant keeps eyeliner on all day. It worked on my lower lash line and kept my kohl pencil in all day... normally it would have smeared and disappeared within the hour. The bottle needs work... The nail polish like brush that comes in the bottle is utterly useless. The little pack of brushes that comes with the package is... crap. I need to use brush cleaner to soften up the brushes every time, but it works like a charm!

EDIT: used it some more. it's not that amazing. sometimes the eyeliner will flake off when i use this. it's good for preventing smudges but not a miracle product.

this is magic for eyeliner. i bought tons of different eyeliners and couldn't use most of them because of smudging (i have very oily skin)... and now with this product i can use them all

Used in conjuction with Babecake Eyeliner this is great, makes the eyeliner totally waterproof and smudgeproof. I dip my clean get bent brush into the She-Laq and then mix it into the eyeliner to make a paste. It lasts all day and the result is a 100% waterproof eyeliner - easier to use than MAC Liquidlast but just as budgeproof.

This was the first product I bought to seal my mascara and eyeliner in hopes of preventing raccoon eyes. It did do its job - very smudgeproof product, but I couldn't stand how sticky it made my eyes once it dried. Even after reading all the reviews and using very very minimal product, it was extremely irritating to my eyes, it got crusty/sticky, and when used over eyeliner...it left this sort of sheen on my skin. You don't need much product to get the job done - it'd be better if she-laq was packaged with a stopper or in a dropper bottle so -1 lippie for that and minus another for the creepy lady on the bottle.

I ended up returning this and bought BE's Weather Everything instead and am loving it much more! It doesn't irritate my eyes at all, it's cheaper, but the smudge-proofness is not as strong. If She-laq's smudgeproof power is 100%, I'd say Weather everything is 95%.

This is a great waterproofer/smudgeproof solution to most makeup. The trick to using this is the use the little nail polish brush that the product came with to lightly coat one of the little set of brushes and then using those to apply the product. Direct application of this product using the brush will result in stickyness. The downsides to this product are that:
1. It takes a REALLY long time to dry...though I found that this was easily remedied by blasting it with a blowdryer for 5 seconds or so.
2. It seems to make my eyeshadow/liner less vibrant in color.
3. I feel eye irritation occasionally.
4. It can get sticky if too much is applied

The coolest thing about this product is that by coating the small eyeliner brush with the product and swiping it a few times across any eyeshadow shade will result in a handy liquid eyeliner in any color you want.

This product is awesome. I only discovered this product about a year ago, and I wonder how ever lived without it. It is perfect for making my eyeliner last the entire day. You only need to use a little bit. I think the people complaining about stickiness, etc, are using too much. I've use other Benefit products, and I feel like they don't always live up to what they promise. This one does 100% what it promises to do.

One of my many problems is flaking mascara, and if there's one area that I make SURE looks gorgeous every day is the eye area. That being said I absolutely, positively HATE mascaras that flake or smudge off. I've been using She-Laq for about 5 years now and no matter what brand of mascara I'm using (currently using LORAC's Publicity Stunt) it stays on all day and through the night. I also like the way the spoolie brush separates my lashes and evens out any mascara clumps that I may have missed. I also use it to tame my wayward brows. LOVE this stuff.

I love this stuff! I live smack dab in the middle of Texas and make up does not last very long during the sweltering months of summer. This products makes up for all the humidity! Use sparingly! The brushes are perfect for application, it's pricey but the bottle lasts forever - given you don't spill it like I did awhile ago. If I EVER run out I will definitely buy again!

I love this product. It did exactly what I needed it to do and exactly what it said it would. The thing is you need to use ONLY A LITTLE, if you use too much it's not pretty :) Listen to the other reviewers, one or two drops is really enough!!

I got this product basked on the reviews here on MA, I was truly disappointed with it. I really wanted to like this product . I bought it for one reason sealing my eyeliner . It Didn't work for me it was so sticky and took forever to dry and within an hour my eyeliner was smeared on top of my upper lid.

This stuff actually works. Without it my eye make up lasts maybe an hour. With it my eye make up lasts for more than a few hours. I love it for eyeliner and mascara. I don't wear much eye shadow so I don't really use it with that. When I have used it I've had to apply it very carefully and wait for it to dry, otherwise the pigment from the eyeshadow clumps together and leaves bare skin spots. For me it's worth it for the eyeliner and mascara alone. The bottle is expensive but lasts forever.

I am a part time model and a makeup artist put this on me once at a shoot as she had used Ruby and Millie gel liner which smudges very easily.
It was great and really made the eyeliner stay put- even dramatic Cleopatra type eyes!
The problem came when trying to take it off. I had little bits of it on my eyes that wouldn't come off with makeup remover and I made my eyes red and sore from trying to get it off.
It works well, almost too well!

UPDATE: Somehow this product stings and burns my eyes. No matter how I adjust and experiment, no eyeliner successfully stays on my lids--it eventually fades. Very tricky product to apply. I do not recommend She Laq for those who have sensitive eyes.
