This is one of my favorite of the 3-in-1's. IMO, it does smell like pumpkin pie, and it's definitely not too spicy at all. Great for winter. *disclaimer* I would never use any of the 3-in-1's for shampoo.

I love the thick foaming action of all of the philosophy 3 in 1's though I would never use them as a shampoo / conditioner. The autumn is my favorite time of year, so I like to use the pumpkin pie gel periodically to take me there, even if it's just for a few minutes. I LOVE this product!

i was soooo excited to try this!alas- when it came with my sephora order i couldnt wait to use it! which i did.... and blah. it didnt lather at all as a shampoo, i had to use my regular shampoo with it. it didnt condition either. and even as a body cleanser, it didnt lather the way i like on my poufie :( big dissapointment. i got another one with another sephora order, but it was such a flop that i swapped it to another mua-er who will give it a more appreciative home.

This is a great, rich shampoo/conditioner/body wash. It lathers up nicely and does not dry out the skin at all. Although to me it does not smell the least bit like pumpkin pie. It has a delicious fragrance of cinnamon and cloves, but not pumpkin. Don't let that deflect you from buying the product though! It's worth the money.

I love this scent. I used it for a shower gel and shampoo. I have think, naturally curly hair, so I used my conditioner anyway because my hair didn't feel very smooth after using it; it felt a little tangly so I opted for my regular conditioner. But I found that the pumpkin pie scent did linger even my husband made a comment. I really really do like this scent but I will use it as shower gel and more often as a bubble bath. It is a bit on the pricey side but I think it is well worth it for the relaxing, yummy smell!

NUMMY!:P.....Best way to put it. I love all the cookbook scents Philosophy 3 in 1's have to offer, but this and cinnamon buns are my fave. I only use these as a body wash, man they are the best. The Pumpkin pie scent is to die for. The soap lathers wonderfully and all of the 3-in 1's colors look so pretty..(pearlized gel)and the packaging is darling. DEFINITE REPURCHASE, :)

Great smell and consistency - just wish the smell lingered after rinsing.

This is such a wonderful fall scent. I had never tried it before but I recently received a large bottle with this as a GWP for an online order. I agree that the 3 in 1's are really only good for a body wash, they do little for hair. But as a bodywash I love it!! It smells so yummy without being too sweet and it leaves my skin feeling soft and smooth. I'll be purchasing this when I use up my bottle.

I love this and I hate this. I wish Philosphy would fix it. I gave this many, many, chances. It has so many plusses, the scent for starters, is fantastic. It is pearly, foamy, a pretty orange and comes in a huge bottle. If I were rating it as a body wash I would give it all 5's. But I wouldn't have bought it if it were just a body wash because I'm not into body washes. As a shampoo/conditioner this product did not work for me or my DH. My hair felt greasy and was prone to tangles and I just couldn't wait to wash it out. I thought that maybe I hadn't rinsed it well enough so I tried it again a few days later (wash, rinse, repeat once) and really made sure I rinsed it to give it a fair chance, but yuck! My long thick hair was gummy feeling and awful to brush again! I even tried it AGAIN, this time with a seperate conditioner, but that was even worse and I didn't make it out of the shower without washing the whole sticky mess out of my hair. My husband's fine hair has been weighed down by this. I am so disappointed because I had a lemming for this for a looooooong time. I nearly bought the Strawberry Milkshake at the same time but I was worried that it wouldn't work as a shampoo. If someone made these fun smells in a descent shampoo/conditioner I would pay for them, go out of my way for them. I hope Philosophy tries again, maybe keep this formulation as is as a body wash becasue it is nice for that purpose - my huband smells like Pumpkin Pie for the first 20-30 mins out of the shower :)

I bought this the week before halloween to help me get into the 'fall mood.' It did the trick! I would say that it smells like all the spices found in pumpkin pie, all without the pumpkin (which doesn't bug me since I adore cloves and nutmeg more than I do the pumpkin). I will probably switch back to another body wash (cinnamon buns) when I finish this bottle but it is worth a try.

I really liked this. I used it as a body wash and I found it very moisturizing. It foams very well, and the smell is heaven. Very pumpkin pie, and it doesn't stay with you after you leave the showed which is nice. I was very pleased with this purchase and I think it is worth the price, after all, the bottle is huge.

I was very disappointed in this. I hoped it would have the buttery, pastry-like scent of cinnamon buns, just with pumpkin pie instead of cinnamon. Unfortunately, this is barely fragranced at all and what little fragrance it does have smells like nothing more than clove ... very weak clove. No pie, no pastry, no cinnamon spice ... just clove. The sad thing is, this actually lathers better than either the strawberry milkshake or the cinnamon buns! But, the scent is just not strong enough for me. I hope I have now learned my lesson and will not be purchasing any more Philosophy 3-in-1's, since I am almost always disappointed in one aspect or another.

I got a sample of this from a kind swapper - I love the scent, it really does smell like pumpkin pie. I haven't tried it as body wash yet, but I washed my hair with it and only it last night: it cleaned & conditioned and left my hair looking at little more shiny than usual. Thumbs up.

This isn't my favorite of the 3-in-1's, but it's okay. Mine's rather plastic-y smelling and I detect more pie crust than pumpkin filling. While this gel is strongly scented, the scent is not strong- Does that make sense? A bit more spice might have been nice. But I like that you can use this stuff both for hair and body. Isn't any more drying than actual shampoo, but you still might want to use an actual conditioner.

Love this!! I'm a huge fan of pumpkin scents and Philosophy's Pumpkin Pie 3-in-1 has set the bar high for me... it's a great combination of slight spicy undertones with a true pumpkin mixed in. Delightful for the fall and winter, although it gives me cravings for the real pie every time I see it in my bathroom closet!

All the Philosophy 3-in-1 products are highly colored and scented. I used this one for several months in the autumn and winter as a shampoo, for my fine hair, and it worked pretty well.(I think it's available year-round at Sephora.) It smells just like its name, so if you like pumpkin smells, go for it. I don't think the smell lasts long after the shower though. Philosophy ought to make body lotions in the same scents as the 3-in-1's.

This smells very subtly of pumpkin pie. The cleansing action is very good, works into a fair lather, and leaves you feeling clean. It's a wonderful scent for fall and winter- but I still have half a bottle left, and the smell is beginning to feel out of place in these warmer months. Definitely purchase sometime in early fall!

This smells just like plastic to me, all of the Philosophy 3 in 1's do to me. I just don't get the fascination with these. They work more, for me, as a body wash than anything else, and so an expensive one at that. And since the smell is faint, if anything, what's the point?
