This has become my HG cleanser! I use it twice a day and love it! I bought it the day after Christmas and have been using it since! It will dry out your skin a little, but just use moisturizer and you'll be fine! It has cleared up my acne and makes my skin so soft!! I rave about it to everyone! I use one full pump and it covers my face completely. I really feel like it cleans my skin well. Plus it's so cheap (almost $4 at Target and I'm about a third of the way done with my bottle). It smells amazing, it works wonders for us acne-prone types, and you can use it at the sink or in the shower! Love it!

The first time i used this product, I was so proud that it has salicylic acid that can dry out my stubborn pimples. My hope was really high, and it did dry my old pimples. I was so happy then!
However, i guess after a month of usage with this product, i noticed that it caused me to break out further.
The bottom line is... yes, it can heal my current pimples and smoothen my skin after wash BUT it cannot prevent future pimples, and also, my skin started to have clogged whiteheads!

i thought i loved this when i bought it, but then it stopped working. my pores did get smaller, but they have gone back to their original size. the smell is good but i personally do not like the cream consistency. the little scrubby beads are more exfoliating than i thought they would be too. those made me get a rash so i could never use it in the morning. so, now to use it up, i just add in some sugar to make an exfoliator for my nose and chin.

i got rashes on my face after using it !
my face feels really taut and dry after using it.
highly not recommended for ppl with sensitive skin like me.

I like this product. It cleans your face without over drying it afterwards or leaving it tight. The only complaint I have is that the beads in this HURT! It's too strong to use everyday, I think. The everyday use is drying out my skin a bit. I wish they would make one without the hard beads. Overall, a not bad cleanser. =) Leaves ur face feeling so soft too!

I really liked this product and I think I will repurchase. I got it in a gift set because the set with everything was cheaper than the item I intended to purchase on its own. As a result, I have been trying out additional products I never would have purchased and this cleanser is one of them. I should mention that I only use this product at night and use my normal everyday cleaner in the mornings. I leave the wash in the shower and cleanse my skin under the running shower water to take my makeup off and provide a deeper clean. I noticed a reduction in oil right away, however, my face has been getting dry after prolonged use. It's not a big deal if you moisturize regularly. I have noticed a reduction in blackheads and pimples however, this may be due to the other new products I have been using in combination with this wash. All in all, I like the way it makes my skin feel after use and I would repurchase it for use in the shower.

this is an ok cleanser, if you don't have high expectations. let me say that sa has never done much for me. the beads in this are minimal and can't be felt at all. it did nothing to clear me up or for my husbands skin which is wonderful except some blackheads on his nose. an average cleanser at best.

I reach for this when I feel grimy and disgusting, and it does the job. However, it doesn't seem to control blemishes and blackheads.

i had the original scrub in my hand but thought this was the blemish and blackhead control scrub and got it instead. it does kind of feel like a scrub but in general its just a glorified cleanser. it does what it says. it cleans without drying my combination skin out and doesnt dry it out. though i wish i had gotten what i wanted, this wasn't such a bad trade off

The beads in this product may be misleading. It is certainly not a scrub, but I wasn't expecting it to be so there was no disappointing there.
I really liked it, made my face fresh and clean. There was some reduction in blackheads but it seemed to hit a plateau after a while. I used it in the shower with a face scrubbing brush. I liked the pump top but it made it really hard to travel with. It doesn't easily twist close.
I would repurchase this again, it worked well and I had no bad reaction or dryness. Unfortunately when I went to repurchase the store didn't have any so I had to get another brand. I would however repurchase this in the future.

I love St.Ives' Apricot Scrubs so I really wanted to love this product but this cleanser reaked havoc on my face. I have normal to dry skin and after a week of using this cleanser there were dry patches developing on my skin which is something that has never happened with any other product I have ever used on my face. When I stopped using this product and switched back to what I had been using before (Cetaphil) the dry patches went away.

This has a lot of grit in it so it may be too harsh for sensitive, dry skin. It works well for me since I have oily/combination skin. Leaves face remarkably clean.

Didn't care for this at all. This product didn't lather at all and it left a yucky residue on my face that was a bugger to get off. It also burned my skin somewhat . I think there's some sort of menthol derivative in it or something and that's why. Ick...would not repurchase.

This is such a darling to me! It has a nice sweet fruity scent that makes it pleasurable whenever I cleanse. I don't know how good it is on severe acne but I have quite a good skin now.
The gentle microbeads is very good for daily exfoliation rather than using the Invigorating scrub everyday with your cleanser which would be harsh!
From my experience, it really controls oil well but it doesn't leave my skin tight/dry like my usual cleanser and leaves your skin cool after washing without menthol! Hence, I'm gonna use this from now on. However, this is always out of stock :( I will hunt for this!

I'm quite liking this for summer when my skin's a bit more oily. I've been using Pond's cold cream to remove makeup & sunscreen in the evenings but I just don't need the emollience right now. This St. Ives cleanser actually removes makeup & sunscreen quite well. I only need a tiny pea-sized drop to clean my whole face with a bit of water. It's not too sudsy so I'm not getting dry (of course, I use it in the evening so I'm applying moisturizer right away). I use an eye makeup remover as well, but other than that this is doing the trick. Bonus, no clogged pores, as the emollients in it (glycerin, jojoba esters) aren't problem ingredients for me. Most other gentle cleansers give me breakouts. Good stuff!

I picked this up in a Walgreen's. I just wanted a nice gentle scrub for my combo skin. I usually follow a regimine using dove soap as a face cleanser, afterwards I may use witch hazel or peroxide, always followed by a thin layer of shea butter on the area outside of my t-zone which tends to be a little dry.
I've had no problem with my regular regimine and wish I'd never picked up this container:( I used it 3 days in a row and Ouila', I actually broke out in 3 pimples. One for each day I used this apricot wash, I guess. I never get pimples unless I'm having a bout of PMS, so this was a surprise when I looked in the mirror the other morning. I HATE this stuff! The only good thing about it is the smell and it doesn't even have any scrubby action:( Maybe this is a bit too strong or something, and will actually be great for someone really worse off with acne, so I'm going to recommend it.

this is just ok, i was hoping the orange particles in the wash was going to act like microbeads, but i think it's just what causes the apricot scent which is very pleasant btw and the only thing i like about it... the wash alto in gel form in tube creams up when used, which is nice but sometimes hard to wash off completely.. if u have tendency for dry skin, u may need to be weary not to use it everyday as i found it made my normal-dry skin feel a bit too tight.. i wanted a product to use for the monthly breakouts and oily skin, which the SA in the tube helps to do, but will not repurchase.

I love this product. My skin is translucent and I get really red sometimes, and I need quite a bit of foundation usually to get a healthy glow, but this stuff calms that down a lot. My skin looked so much healthier and calmer right after the first use. The packaging sucks because I can't lock it without squeezing out a lot, but it's otherwise the best cleanser I've ever used, by far.

this doesn't do much for acne but i haven't broken out from it, so i'm happy about that. my skin feels a lot more softer, looks healthier, & is definitely not dried out after using this. for the price, i think it's a pretty good deal.

Since I started using this, my pores have been so much smaller! My skin is so soft and smooth now. I love it. I find myself wearing less and less makeup everyday. I follow with a moisturizer and haven't had any problems. I've travelled with this and all you have to do is turn the pump to the closed position (I think you just turn it to the...left?). It's fabulous. Proactiv didn't work for me at all. It's crazy that something as cheap as this could work so well! EDIT: Unfortunately, like many other drugstore "miracles" this became less effective after about a month of use. Maybe my skin got used to it?
