This was recommended to me by another MUAer that I go to when I need something that works. I needed a basic balm for under lipstick and this is it! It's smooth and soothing and doesn't run all over my face like other lip balms I have tried. I will definitely be buying this again!

I bought this today because my lips were starting to act up... It's starting to be cold, and I have been licking my lips lately so they felt hard and were starting to peel...

So I bought this. I paid it 4,70€ that must be about 6$... I was in the alley looking at all these chapsticks and I decided to give this one a go.

I applied immediately and was relieved because it doesn't sit on my lips, it sinks in and smoothes the lips immediately... The smell is nice, like most lip butters. The texture and smell actually makes me think of Piz Bruins chapstick I had a few years ago.

Fast forward a few hours, I have reapplied a couple of times and my lips aren't peeling anymore.

Up until now it's love at first sight..

One of my favorite products that i love to have with me at all times! I've tried several different lip balms and this is the first one that I've repurchased despite the price. I use it before applying lipstick and throughout the day to keep my lips nice, smooth and moisturized. I love the smell (vanillish) and the fact that it comes in a tube instead of a pot--I hate dipping my finger to apply it. Great find!

On the stickyness scale of 1-10, this gets a 1. Awesome for me because I hate sticky. It goes on clear, and has a mild scent and really no taste to it. I hate the chapsticks that get a tase in my mouth. So smooth and moisturizing. MY HG and very favorite. Worth the $$$ but be careful, leave it in the car sideways and it will melt...still useable though! Have already purchaced multiple times!

GLORIFIED CHAPSTICK! I wanted a moisturizing lip treatment that I could wear at night---to prevent my lips from getting all dry/chapped. This stuff works for all of about 5 minutes. This is definitely not a HG or fabulous product. I would not recommend.

Very expensive Chapstick.

It is an ok lip treatment. It has a soft vanilla scent to it. It moisturizes well but not as good as my HG lip treatment (Mediterrean Spa Alvacado Burro). It is good but not amazing. Price is a little steep for its performance. Average all around.

Lip balms have gotten so fancy nowadays that their main objective of moisture retention has taken a backseat to smelling fragrant, looking cute, or adding shine. But this one doesn't get sidetracked. It may look a tad traditional or smell too neutral, but it does keep my lips moisturized for hours at a time. Thanks to its matte finish, layering it over lip colors is not a problem at all. I do however agree that the tube is not secure. On a number of occassions, the lip balm falls out in mid-use.

My favorite lipbalm for four years. I bought this the first time in London. Its not expensive in Europe (about 4-5 Euros) and I bought a whole bunch last time I went to France. Its so lightweight, fragrance-free, non-goopy. Since I started using it, my lips NEVER EVER flake. I usually use it at night. I keep one in my bedside, one in the bathroom, one in my travel bag. I've also given this to friends and family to try. Great lipbalm. I'll continue to buy.

For a chapstick, it's damn expensive- but balanced against the fact that it's lightweight on, very moisturising and doesn't ruin the surrounding skin even with overuse, it's a bargain. Add the delicate scent/taste and this is the balm to be wearing in any situation where you might, or would like to be, kissed.

One of my absolute favorite lipbalm. I got two tubes of this while in France (it's cheaper there, amazingly, nothing else is!) and fell in LOVE. I'm almost through the first tube (probably cause I use it all the time) and I'm going to try to go a little slower on the second because it's kind of expensive here in the US.

Holy grail for sure.

It just sucks that I'm going to have to find a way to get it in Europe and not here. Luckily my mom travels over there a lot!

This is the absolute best product I have ever used on my lips. I have been searching for the perfect lip moisturizer and nothing has ever been *perfect*. Chapsticks are always too waxy or not moisturizing enough or smell funny or something. This however, really works. It comes in a lipstick like tube with a swivel up bottom. It is clear and leaves your lips matte. It has a light scent to it, almost vanilla like, but I can't quite put my finger on it. The part I like the best about this though is the texture of it. It coats my lips without being thick or waxy and makes them feel truly moisturizing. I tend to notice with traditional chapsticks that my lips still feel like they are dry and cracking when I smile or move them a lot. This made my lips feel 100% moisturized though and lasted literally for hours without ever feeling gross. It is expensive at $12 a tube, but seriously it is worth it and I'm sure the tube will last for months. I would surely buy again!

Now THIS is what I'm talking about. This balm is everything Fresh's Lemon Sugar one was trying to be.This one doesn't break off in any temperature(unlike Fresh's),tastes and smells like vanilla, and not only contains a sunscreen but also is an *excellent* base for lipstick.Matte finish.Leaves lips silky soft.Great ingredients too, among them shea butter. An HG item for me!Great price as well, considering it lasts forever.

This works quite well as a lip balm but the top ingredients in it are petrochemicals which means that it is not that different from Vaseline.

I was dissapointment when I first got this from Sephora, I opened the little tube and the stick actually fell out of it onto my floor. I quickly picked it up and put it back in the little tube, I was able to save it so I didnt have to return it to back sephora. Later that night, I gave it a try...it smelled sooo wonderful, like a combination of wine and vanilla and it felt like silk on my lips. I've been using it several times a day and before bed, I use it under my SPF stick and I use it under lipstick. After about 2 weeks of using it, I went to get a facial and the aestetician asked me if I had collagen lip injections! I thought she was crazy but then I looked at my lips and they looked fuller than ever! I think this stuff must build up collagen in the lips or something like that because I swear by it...defintely my HG lip balm. Oh..and I pair it with Paul Dorf's perfect illusion stick and viola! the plumpest smoothest lips you can imagine.

I have already repurchased this lovely lip balm. At £4 I think its pretty cheap for a high end company like Caudalie. It makes my lips look healthy and plump - does leave a slight film but that protects and seems to make my lips look fuller. The smell is gorgeous, kind of like vanilla - if they made a moisturiser in that scent I'd buy it. Really does nourish my dry lips. Only downside is that it tends to break apart in the heat.

This left a white-ish cast on my lips and was an average moisturiser. There are lots of cheaper alternatives out there. This was very expensive for what it was.

Good lip conditioner with vanilla smell. It leaves my lips soften and moisture after used.

For all of the vaunting of grapeseed extract and antioxidants, the people at Caudalie have here a most mediocre lip balm. Although the vanilla scent is nice and subtle, the moisturizing properties are sadly average to ultra temporary for me, and I don't even suffer from chapped or dry lips. I used it every night until I hit plastic and can confidently agree with those who believe it works just as well as Blistex.
