Even though there are only 4 shades thank goodness I found a perfect match.
The foundation has great coverage but you need to exfoliate and moisturize well before application or it will emphasize dry patches.
I bought it in light beige (I'm a NC25) and I apply it lightly on my skin and set it with NARS loose powder. The combo does a great job of concealing everything. Will edit after a few weeks but until now I notice that my skin is clearer and there are no more clogged pores due to past foundations.
About the price, it cost me about 26 dlls but it's worth it if my skin keeps loving it :)
EDIT: After a few weeks, I noticed that the color was turning orange and my T-zone was oilier than normal. Stopped using it and continued the hunt for my HG foundation.

I bought this foundation after reading the reviews here and being continuously frustrated with MMU, and WOW! am I glad I did. The color choice is minimal, but I just mix it with another whipped cream foundation I have (Pure Luxe) that is lighter to make the perfect match for my skin (I dilute it w/ a touch of my Carley's moisturizer as well). I am also going to buy a tube of the lighter shade soon. The coverage is flawless for my sensitive, acne-prone, acne scarred and flakey skin, and it is perfect for foundation and concealer.
I am on the Clear Skin Regimen from acne.org and this foundation does not irritate my skin at all. The price is high but worth it, as the only place I could find it was beautyplatinum.com, which charges $9 shipping (and it took over 10 days to reach me) but I would pay $100 for this tube of bliss!! You need so little it will last me a very long time, and trust me I need MAXIMUM coverage. I think I have finally found my HG foundation! Highly recommeded.
UPDATE: I have stopped using every other product mentioned here except my trusty La Roche Posay foundation. LOVE it.

I have been around ever counter/product out there when it comes to foundation. I decided to give this a try and absolutely love it. I have been using it for a few months now. You need a very small amount and it is best applied with a sponge. It dries quickly so you need to work fast with it. It does not move, streak, fade, change colour or make you shine all day long. I was at a counter on the weekend purchasing something else and the MA's asked me if I had any foundation on, they told me they could not tell at all. That's how well it works for me. I am normally around an NC30 in winter and the colour that worked best for me is Sand Beige. I love the fact that it is in a plastic tube which works great for travel etc.

I agree with Maxa. This is a wonderful concealer that does not seem to emphasize flakes too much. I literally use a pinhead size amount and that is perfect for around my nose. If I need to cover any other spots or discolorations I use the same amount and sometimes cut it with a really light moisturizer (this is prob. the only way that one could really use this as a foundation without it looking too "foundationy"). I use the lightest color, which is sort of silly, though because I am fair and usually take one of the lightest foundation colors in foundations/tinted moisturizers, I am not pale a la Nicole Kidman (more like Liv Tyler coloring (on a VERY good day).
Edit-however, I do not find myself using this as much as I ought. My skin is really very dry and all foundations seem to make it worse...
Edit again---gave this to my mom, who lives in Florida ---hence, less dried out skin

As a foundation this product sucks.I have rather sensitive dehydrated combo skin with enlarged pores, and this foundation sunk into every single pore on my face making it look like a pasta strainer. No way this is a FLUID foundation! It's creamy and dries too fast, and in order for it to look good, the skin has to be perfectly exfoliated and deeply moisturized.Having said that,I give this product a solid 5 because it makes a great concealer,as in the best concealer I've ever tried! It camouflages all local minor and major skin imperfections flawlessly.Ivory shade fits my skin colour like nobody's business.Takes down the redness, doesn't rub off and is almost invisible on the skin.A definite material for HG concealer.

This has just become my new HG. I only used it for 2 days, so I'll update if I develop any reactions to it. Hopefully I won't, because Ivory is a perfect match for me, it covers everything (I use a foundation brush, then go over my entire face w/my fingers to blend it in even further), and it stays on the whole day. I do use some translucent powder on top, otherwise it's too dewy for my liking (but then again, I prefer a very matte finish with my foundations).
It has no smell, the tube is very easy to use, overall a very good product that just replaced my EL Double Wear.

*UPDATE* too heavy for me and made me oily...I went back to Chanel.
I really like this foundation. I used to use Chanel foundation, but noticed red spots (not pimples or bumps) on my cheeks. I thought it may be the foundation, so decided to get a new one. Since I have been getting fantastic results from LRP Effaclar line, I figured I would try their foundation. This stuff is really good to my skin..my cheeks are slowly clearing up. The color perfectly matches my skintone (however, there are only about 4 or 5 shades to choose from, which is a shame, as they won't suit everyone). This has very good coverage..a little *too* good for me. I'm not used to such a thick foundation. Therefore, I only use the smallest amount and blend, blend, blend (pretty hard to blend). All in all, I am pretty happy with this ftd - my skin is clearing up, the shade is a perfect match, and it doesn't make my face oily.

I tried a sample of this foundation today and so far I really like it. It is by far the most opaque foundation I have ever put on my face. Normally, I use foundations that have a sheer to medium finish, so when I first tried it on I put on the amount I normally use and it was too much! Like the previous reviewer, I also think the negative reviewer put on too much so it ended up mask like. When I tried it again I only used a little drop for my entire nose area and it covered amazingly. All my pores, and I have lots of them, disappeared without looking too made up. It also looked very natural on my forehead while getting rid of the imperfections. Good stuff! The only drawback is that the lightest shade is not yellow enough for my Asian skin. On my nose and forehead the match is good, but my cheeks are lighter so therefore I need to be really careful when I blend it in. They should have this in more various colours. I will use up the sample and if I still like it the way I did today I will definitely buy the whole bottle, and I'm sure that would last me a lifetime since you have to use it so sparingly. I will update if my opinion changes. Update: I'm really starting to like this! I think that of all the foundations that I've tried in the past (from cheaper ones like max factor, l'oreal, revlon and bourjois to the expensive ones like shiseido, guerlain and shu uemura) I like this one the best even though shiseido is a close second. Make sure to exfoliate and moisturize well though. I will buy the whole tube as soon as I have money. Edit: didn't end up buying the whole tube. Even though I love the texture I would still need a separate foundation for my cheeks, so I prefer something I can use for my entire face. Too bad, cause it's good stuff, just not the right colour. Update: I ended up buying the whole tube anyway. Great for my nose and forehead. I stopped using foundation on my cheeks altogether anyway. Still, no weird discolourings in my face. Perfect!

THIS IS THE MOST AMAZING FOUNDATION I'VE EVER USED!
Firstly, i am sensitive, T-zone acne-prone, combination fair skin. I have battled acne for my whole adolescent and adult life (i'm 25 now). Every single foundation has always clogged my pores. My derm got me on La Roche Posay skincare products a few years ago which have been amazing. So when i was at Shoppers Drug Mart, i just so happened to noticed a foundation line by LRP. Albeit there are only four colour choices, i decided to dish out $25 CDN and get a bottle anyway.
UNBELIEVABLE! I have the worst forehead - shiny, bumpy, clogged pores ever. I put this foundation on and my forehead looks flawless!!! I put it on my tzone as well, but not my cheeks b/c i dont need coverage on them and if i did, i would look like a ghost. I have been using this foundation for about three months now, every single day, without any breakouts or irritation. There is no perfume-y smell either.
I agree with the other reviewers that you must blend quickly and use it sparingly because it WILL look cakey if you patch too much on your skin. The negative reviewer said it looked like a mask on her - that was probably b/c she put too much on an area. If you blen properly and treat your skin will beforehand (ie. moisturize/exfoliate), you wont have that problem.
I swear that LRP should grow their makeup line because they dish out amazing products. It is well worth the cash!!

I bought this foundation because I've used Toleriane's cleanser in the past and loved it. I trusted the brand but I wasn't sure how well their makeup would be but I gave it a try anyway. I'm so glad I did--this foundation really works well for me. I have extremely sensitive, combination skin and I can't use products with fragrance.
PROS: This covers amazingly! I didn't need to use concealer because it was able to cover my most hideous red zits, dark undereye area and redness. This foundation is oil-free and it's quite pigmented--a little goes a long way. I love that I could build varying degrees of coverage, from light to heavy. I bought the lightest shade, Light Beige, which was a little lighter on my skin (I'm pale, have yellow undertones, MAC NC 20-25). The most amazing thing about this foundation is it stays on all day--through work and a stint at the gym. I never had to retouch. The texture is quite dry so I needed to make sure I was well-exfoliated in my drier areas before applying.
CONS: This foundation dries fast so you need to blend quickly. There are only 4 colors available, which is a bit pathetic. Again, use this foundation sparingly, as it can look unnatural with just a bit too much. It can also look obvious on dry skin--this product is better for combo-oilier types.
Overall, I'm loving this foundation. It stays put, makes me look flawless and cooperates with my super sensitive skin.

This is the nicest foundation I have ever used. I have extremely sensitive and dry (due to benzoyl peroxide) acne prone skin and this covers nicely without feeling heavy. It looks flawless and doesn't magnify my dry patches like some foundations do, and easily covers up acne. Make sure you shake it before you use it (each time) because it separates. I have finally found the PERFECT foundation!

Well well well... I just tried this as I'm in search of the ultimate foundation and well really what was I thinking?!?! This came on sort of cakey on my face and made it look so obvious that I was wearing foundation... I mean really artificial looking... Revlon's - Colorstay Foundation is still far superior to this one... But still have to find one that's better then TEINT IDOLE

I have tried almost every single foundation out there from moderately priced to very expensive. This is for hyper-sensitive skin and it provides a nice even canvas for the rest of your makeup. It is not too heavy as most people with very sensitive skin know that you can't wear anything too heavy if you don't want to break out. I would recommend this foundation and I would definitely repurchase.
