One of the few foundations I've found that actually has a color light enough for me to wear! Blends well and doesn't feel too heavy on my skin--the only drawback is sometimes it's a little hard to get the makeup out of the bottle. A squeeze-tube version of this would be nice.

I think this is one of my favourite liquid foundations so far - I thought it would be way too greasy at first, but you have to wait a few minutes for it to dry, and a powder on top is a must! The lightest colour - Ivory 120 is too dark for me still, but I just mixed it with my lightest foundation I own (L'oreal True Match) and the shade is perfect. It does wear off during the day, but most of it stays on. It gives a nice, natural looking "glow" and doesn't make skin look cakey (my skin is pretty bad, but it makes it look drastically nicer).

Nice, sheer, seamless texture as Almay claims. It didn't break me out and the color is a perfect match for me. It is, however, excessively dewy. You cannot get away with skipping powder on this one. I think that Lorac oil-free foundation does a much better job with sheer foundation (granted the price tag is quite a bit higher).

UPDATE: This is actually the wrong shade for me. I used to experiment & wear it on my forehead. My friend said my skin looked kinda purple everytime I wore it to school... & having liquid foundation in a glass bottle is really hard to get the product out. I have to turn it upside down & pat it on the palm of my hand which ISN'T good because most of the time, a whole glob just pours out onto my hand so I waste alot. I have now found a MUCH BETTER loose powder foundation, which gives me a natural, matte, flawless look. Full coverage. It's called Bella Pierre.

I love this foundation! Well, this is actually my first foundation product I've ever bought, first of all, because foundation is pretty expendsive. But yeah... in Target, I saw this bottle in a clearance basket for only $2!!! I decided it get it because it was cheap! Haha. It works fantastic. Seriously. I'm glad that it wasnt the wrong skin color for me because for my older sister, she hasnt found any LIQUID foundation that matches her skin color. I like how you can spread it nicely on your skin with your fingers, it has SPF, it looks natural, it DOESNT CLOG PORES, you cant feel it on your skin, and its HYPO-ALLERGENIC! I have sensitive skin so this was great!

Wow, I love this product. Okay, admittedly, I'm not a makeup junkie. I almost never wear the stuff. But now that I'm 35, I suddenly notice these little flaws that my oh-so-sporty-fresh skin never used to have! So I started looking for something to even out my skin tone, which is difficult. Here's what I was looking for:

1) Something that didn't feel like makeup
2) Something that evened me out without masking my freckles or looks 'unnatural'
3) Something that gives that healthy dewy glow
4) SPF
5) All of the above without looking like I'm wearing anything at all :)

I was tempted by reviews to go out and get CG Smoothers, because everyone seems so sold on that. But I couldn't get the tester to smooth evenly on my hand, it just made lines in my pores so you could see I was wearing something. The tester for Nearly Naked soaked right in and disappeared within seconds, yet left my skin feeling soft, even, and looking dewy. Wow, was this it?

I took it home and gave it a real trial run. It's perfect! Very light, you can't tell I'm wearing anything at all -- even close up I can't tell in the mirror -- but it gives enough coverage just to even out my complexion and give a healthy, dewy glow. Hooray! I just used my fingers to apply it and it turned out great. For my sporty, natural self, it's perfect.

The bottle really could be better, of course. It's just a little glass bottle and you have to shake it against your palm.

One note to those who say there's not enough coverage... it /is/ called 'Nearly Naked'. One would assume from the title that there's not much coverage to it, or that's my guess. It's what attracted me to it in the first place. But yeah, if you're looking for medium coverage, you won't find it in this bottle. This product would suit those who want something extremely sheer and light.

Oh YAY! This is exactly what I was looking for . . . in an SPF. I can't quite figure out why this is considered foundation as the "coverage" is a just shy of non-existant. But all I wanted was a nice, light, daily SPF cream/lotion -- I don't like foundation at all -- and this is perfect for that. It's so light that I can still use my jojoba oil underneath without my face feeling swamp-like, but alone it feels a bit moisturizing as well. Makes my skin look very fresh (is there just a touch of reflective something-or-other in here?) and absolutely DOES NOT look like I'm wearing foundation. It's a pretty thick lotion -- bordering on creme -- and there's no pump on the bottle, for which I deduct package quality lippies as it is annoying to have to whack it off the top of my hand to deposit product for application. But the application itself is very nice; smoothes on easily, absorbs quickly, leaves a soft feel without being tacky. And it doesn't have that horrible "foundation smell" -- it's a nice, light, barely detectable scent. Oh, and no parabens (hurrah)! In a perfect world this would be SPF 30, but the 15 is good enough for daily wear, and I'll default back to my just-a-bit-too-heavy Dr. Hauschka SPF lotion when I'm going to be *outside* outside. My only concern is that, for a few minutes after application my face feels a bit . . . hot. As I have very sensitive skin, I'm keeping my fingers crossed that this does not progress to full-on reaction. But after a week it hasn't gone beyond a little temporary warmth, so here's to hoping . . . Take home message: good as very light, skin enhancing SPF lotion/creme. May be disappointing for people desiring even sheer coverage from a foundation. I'm about NC 15-20 and I have this in the second to lightest shade, Buff (140) and it's entirely undetectable. But again, it's so sheer, I can't imagine that you'd have to be dead-on in terms of color matching.

I only used this foundation a couple of times. I just could not get used to it's sheerness. I'm more of a medium coverage kind of gal. With this product I had to apply four layers over my face to get light coverage. I don't like having to layer foundation at all. One layer is all I like; otherwise, I feel like my skin is suffocating. The finish was too dewy and sticky. As soon as I applied the Nearly Naked loose powder, which I love, the foundation seemed to rub off onto my brush! NO, NO, NO all the way. Not for me at all. I gave it 2 lippies because it can be a good foundation for someone looking for something really sheer.
On another note, Almay's new foundation, Truly Lasting Color, is amazing! I get my beloved medium coverage in one application. The staying power and oil control is unbeatable, the color stays true all day long, it's super comfortable to wear, and it looks flawless and very natural all day long! I also like the antioxidants and SPF 15 in the product. I LOVE THIS ONE! Try it if you are looking for similar features in a foundation. You will not be disappointed.

So I was standing in the cosmetics aisle at Wal-Greens, trying to decide what foundation I wanted to try next, when I saw this little clear bottle.

I vaguely remembered trying it when I was in high school - well actually.. I remembered how the top-heavy, wide-mouthed packaging ended up falling over and spilling product all over my aunt's off-white carpet and how it took me three hours to get it out.

I couldn't - however- remember what I did with the rest of the product and if I liked it or not. So I bought it, and took it home.

Yikes! As soon as this stuff hit my face, I remembered why I hated this stuff in the first place - not only was the packaging crappy, but the formula is unforgivable! This stuff is very greasy looking, and it provides NO coverage at all, as if there isn't any pigment on your face! I've tried applying it with a foundation brush, with cosmetic sponges, and with my fingers... icky each time.

I didn't touch my face for over five minutes, waiting for it to dry. It never dried... just remained slimey and filmy. I followed the advice of another MUA'er and set it with a good loose powder... but not even that worked! It took so much loose powder just to mattify it that my face looked overly-made up by the time I was done.

One of the worst products I've ever tried. If there was a "Get this stuff away from me!" option under "Would you buy this product again?" I'd select it.

Well, I have a lot to say about this product. I was suffering from a HORRIBLE (and I mean bad) breakout due to just plain puberty, my period, and the makeup I was using before (Benefit Play Stick or something like that), anyway my mother told me that my grandmother (who had sensitive acne-prone skin like mine) used this stuff called Almay and it cleared her up! So I went to Longs and bought it. Now here is what I think.

Overall Pros: I have used this for over 8 months now and have had no breakouts, no redness, no anything on my face. In fact my skin has cleared up to only 2 pimples!!!!! This is also very light so your skin can breathe, but gives enough coverage to get rid of redness, cover scars, and smooth out minor bumps. Good easy to use packaging too!

Overall Cons: If you apply this incorrectly it can look un-blended on your skin, but if you do apply this correctly your skin looks so naturally flawless it's amazing! Be sure to use a moisturizer before (no matter HOW oily your are), because it does catch on to flakes. To apply it correctly use your fingers and just rub it in like it was a night cream. That personally gives me best results/coverage.

It can also catch on to fine mustache hairs, but just blend blend blend and that won't happen.

Coverage: A good sheer/medium coverage that will take red out, and smooth minor bumps. For larger pimples use a concealer.

Feel on skin: Silky and easy to blend! About ten minutes after applying it completely sets into your skin (without even being able to feel it's on) and will give you a clean and clear glow!

Price: This was well worth the 11$!!! I am surprised that I got such a great product form Longs!

Packaging: Good easy packaging. Could be more sanitary, but I think it is great!

Colors: I found a color (buff) that matches my pale olive skin in the winter perfectly! During the summer I use a medium color because I am tanned and have a bronze Italian olive skin color! These colors would work great on anyone with neutral or pinkish undertones. This could also kind of work well on someone with yellow undertones, but the Clear Complexion has better colors for people with yellow undertones.

Staying Power: This lasts a whole 7 hour school day and beyond! Be sure to set it with a powder, that will make it last better!

Overall: I would buy this again, and I would reccommend this to anyone, young or old, oily or dry! Definetly try this!

I just bought my second bottle last weekend, as I am still on my search for my HG foundation. so obviously i like this product but I do have a few gripes about it. Well, first of all I find that the formula is kinda greasy and thats the way it feels on your skin.but luckily, it does not give me breakouts, even though i have an oily t zone. another complaint is that i think it is too light of coverage. It doesnt really have buildable coverage. personally I like a medium coverage but this is definatly light. As far as the color goes, i have it in ivory. I think It is a pretty good match for my NW20 skin, but sometimes I catch it looking a bit off color. The packaging kinda sucks casue it is so hard to get the last of the foundation out so you feel like you are wasting a bunch.

I've been on a quest for, oh, about 100 years, to find my HG foundation. This foundation is just one of a ton that I've tried that just isn't right. It's not a exactly bad foundation; in fact, the Ivory shade is one of only a few that I've tried that isn't too dark or too yellow or pink. The problem is that about 3 hours after putting it on, it starts sliding off my face. Maybe it would work better for someone who's not prone to oil slicks in the first place. The coverage is really light; it's good for evening things out but not for hiding anything.

Foundation Nirvana! This is what I'm looking for in a foundation. Sheer/Light coverage, spf 15 (both UVA/UVB), blurs any little flaws. This is a natural looking foundation. Those looking for extra coverage - this may not be for you. Having said that, I have layered it and it didn't go all funky looking like some foundations I've used. It does have a wee bit of a glow to it, so I just use MAC blot powder on my T-zone & this sees me through (for a few hrs at least) without having to use my blotting sheets. The only thing that lets it down is the crappy glass bottle. Retails in Australia for $29.95AUD & I'm sure we don't have the full range of shades, but I managed to find one that suits my skin's undertone (a miracle)!

I love this stuff! My face is a grease pit and I have a tough time finding a nice light covarge foundation that doesn't slide off my face. This works perfect on me. It is very light but it covers my imperfections and evens my skin tone. Oddly enough, I have tried the Clear Skin foundation and that broke me out? But not this stuff.

This stuff is really pretty good. I have it in the ivory color, and it matches my very fair skin quite well. True to its name, it is very light, providing minimum but adequate coverage. I like a very light foundation that just gives me a bit of a finished look and this provides that. It does not seem to break out my acne-prone, very sensitive skin and it goes on smoothly and doesn't pill. Also, I have somewhat dry skin and this feels kind of moisturizing. My only complaint is with the glass bottle. It's quite difficult to get the product out of the bottle, the way it's designed. Even if you tip it, it takes forever. This would be better in a plastic, flexible container that you can squeeze. Overall, though, a good product.

Love this stuff. I used to wear Maybelline Dream Matte Mousse, and this stuff is wayyyy better. Doesn't dry out my skin but doesn't make me look like a greasball either. Really is weighless. I usually have pretty acne-prone skin but Nearly Naked Foundation actually improved it greatly. I go tanning so I bought Warm 280 and it matched pretty well. I use this in combo with Almay Line Smoothing Powder in Light/Medium 200

I bought this product as I was after a light summer foundation with SPF and sheer, light coverage.
It works OK, though a word of warning that it means what it says: it is nearly like not wearing makeup at all. It goes on pretty easily and feels light on my skin, but it isn't that long lasting.
In Australia it retails for about $30, so I don't really think I'll be repurchasing it again:its not great value and with so many other foundations out there I'm pretty sure I'll find something better.

I think this is really exactly what it called- NEARLY NAKED liquid foundation. If it was meant to be a thick, heavy coating foundation I'm sure they would have named it a more appropriate name. With that said I didn't buy this product with the expectation that it would cover every blemish that I might have. Rather, I wanted something sheer for the summer- something I could use a concealer with if I needed extra coverage, something to use on those rare clear skin days! I like it. I will say that it's very important to use a sponge and blend, blend, blend this stuff in. Once you've got it blended in, it's a great, sheer, light foundation. For me it does cover slight imperfections, and evens out my skintone nicely- great for a day look! It is pretty pricely for a drugstore foundation, and the packaging is kind of annoying- but all and all, a good product.

This is the best light foundation/tinted moisturizer I've ever used - which is saying alot because I'm ridiculous about buying them. The problem with this is that it's marketed for normal/comb skin, when it SHOULD be for dry skin like mine. It has only light coverage (about the same as my Lancome Bienfait Multi-Vital TM without the yucky perfume smell!). If this was sold as a tinted moisturizer I bet it would have higher ratings.

It has a dewy, but not greasy finish on my skin, but I wouldn't have liked this when my skin was oilier. Great for me because I don't get flakies like usual, and I don't need to wear moisturizer or powder with this.

The bottle is frustrating - wish it had a pump, but worth the wait!
I apply this by patting it on (stippling) with a sponge. I don't skimp because I want the broad-spectrum SPF to count.

I bought two colors (wasn't sure) and they look exactly the same on! They are Sand and Neutral and they are great, light/medium, neutral shades with not too much yellow for me, but no pink/peach.

Very soothing and fragrance-free, which is nice after my Lancome mistake. Lots of nice antioxidants. Highly recommend for drier skins wanting light coverage!

Update: OK, the frustrating bottle has officially driven me crazy and I got little breakouts after using this for awhile. Moving on...

This is only the second time I've used this, but I really like it. I'll update if my opinion changes or if I have any bad reactions or anything.

Me: Blonde hair, hazel/green eyes, light & freckled skin (MAC NC15-NC20) that's combination & breakout prone. The Buff shade matches me perfectly.

Why I want to use a foundation: My face tends to get rosy easily, especially in the summer when it's exposed to the sun & the chlorine from the pool. This foundation lightly covers the redness my face sometimes gets. I also am breakout prone & therefore have blemishes sometimes & post-blemish marks. I was surprised when people said this foundation doesn't cover anything, because it definitely provided a light coverage for me. Maybe it's because I use a makeup sponge.

Almay Nearly Naked Liquid Foundation: This comes in a 1 Fl oz. glass bottle with a lilac cap. It's very easy to apply since it is not heavy or sticky. It makes my skin look glowy & healthy. My t-zone tends to get oily, but I applied this today & my face is not really oily at all yet. Wow.

Application: I use a wedged sponge for application, & I get a light coverage that evens out my skintone & lightly covers flaws. Remember this foundation is called "Nearly Naked" so you should be expecting a light or sheer coverage. You'll probably need a concealer for noticable blemishes, but the foundation makes a nice base for the concealer.

Can be found..:At most drugstores such as WalMart, CVS, Target, etc. The price varies, but where I got it, it was around $12.

I'll update soon...

Let me just say, I do not usually have horrible breakouts. I have mild-moderate hormonal breakouts, dry skin, and eczema. The normal-oily formula broke me out in 2 days in places I don't normally break out.

The coverage of this foundation is very sheer imo. It feels kind of gross going on imo--greasy-ish, but was fine once set with powder. It stayed well + did not accentuate flakies.

I bought the shade Ivory, which was a poor color match for my nw15 skintone. It was definately too neutral/yellow-ish.
