I bought it in Pink Diamonds, which looked great on Josie Maran in the ad (she has similar coloring to me, so I thought it would look good, but of course I should have known that things never look as good as they do in magazines). It put thick pink sparkles-- not shimmery "diamonds" all over my lips, and was so drying I had to wipe it off after only a few minutes. There wasn't anything that remotely resembled a wet shine. It was pretty matte, except for the sparkles. Maybe it's nicer in another color.

Another favorite of mine is Maybelline WSD in Mauvey Rock, just a swipe of this lipstick then a coat of MAC Clear Lipglass can brightened the whole face. Enough said!

Even though the formula is a bit thin I really liked the color and sparkles of WSD. I have it in Sparkling Sand and it gives my lips a nice sheer bronzey color. Ill probably wear it over MAC Hodgepodge or Wet N Wild 712. Also very moisturizing!

True, they don't stay on brilliantly and they look absolutely NOTHING like in the ad...BUT, they are a bit shimmery and wet looking and definately moisturising. When they do wear off (they have some staying power) they don't go everywhere and leave a little moisture and "diamonds", which is nice. The colours I've got, and the reason why I chose 5 stars, is that I can put them on without a mirror and just smack my lips together (maybe hoping for the best!) Anyway, they're: Gem Crushed Merlot - looks darkish strawberry to me, Jewels 'N' Berries - lovely soft berry, but plenty of colour, Rose Dream (bought in Italy, so not sure what the other name is - maybe Rhinestone pink?), but a pretty soft pink, and Glowing Glimmer, a very pretty, sheer bright, but not too bright Fuscha? on my lips and teamed with Blush/Brush "Pretty Pink", I get that really fresh, pinched cheek "just come in from cold" look. Like them much better than Wet Shine!

Just a cheap, gimmicky drugstore lipstick, IMO. The glitter isn't gritty, but the texture of the lipstick is very drying. It doesn't wear well, and fades to a tacky uneven stain within the hour. There's absolutely no hint of the shine advertised- in fact, this is about as badly false advertised as the original Wet Shine lipsticks. Ugh.

Does NOT last long at all. Like the texture and colors but what is the point when you have to reapply constantly? blech

This lipstick has got to be for little girls because the color, strawberry ice, is too cutesy for women. The ads make it look like it's for every age, but this is just not so. I have to say that this lipstick is the worst I've bought. It doesn't shine or sparkle like the commercials emphasize. It's bad, bad, bad–but I'm not surprised...it's Maybellin. I have to forgive myself for spending my money on it, because, hey, we're all entitled to make a mistake or two!

I got this in Mauvey Rock based on an article that rec'd it for my coloring in InStyle mag. It's a nice color for the weekend or when you just want something to swipe on and go. I don't care for the pink packaging and sometimes it pushes itself back into the tube when I'm applying it.

Mauvey Rocks-great nude pink color with tons of moisture. It's really sheer and not too "glitzy". I didn't even feel the glitter at all on my lips. Not very long lasting but being BOGO, I didn't mind reapplying.
The cap keeps falling of in my purse but that's about it.

I feel like I was the victim of a gimmick. Thank God I didn't pay full price for these! These lipsticks aren't any shinier than any other lipstick, the colors are much more sheer. The only thing they do better is wear off! I'm remembering the ad, a pair of full glossy lips practically dripping with diamonds...they look *just a little* different in real life. I find these to be gritty and nubby. The tubes are pretty cute, I have to admit, tacky girly pink trimmed with silver and a cheap diamond sticker on the lid. The lid kept falling off in my purse by the way. I got Pink Carats which I promptly lost...I know it was pink and that's about it; and Glowing Glimmer which is a horrible 80's loud pink with nubby pieces of glitter melded into it. Those plastic things that display the colors at the drugstore look nothing like the colors of the actual lipsticks. Does anyone remember those Crayola Crayons with glitter in them? That's exactly what these remind me of! Don't bother wasting your money.

I bought these in Pink Diamonds and Sparkling sand..I really like the sparkly look..I find these to be sheer and would probably use these over lipsticks. I tend to like really defined lips and I can see this over a lipstick to give it some more oomph! These are thin to me, not like a MAC lipglass but very pretty..The ads make them look a lot shinier and I didn't see that..I saw the shimmer but want more shine..All in all this is a nice lipgloss and I will purchase again..

I bought 2 of this today at CVS because they were having a sale but I previously owned 2. I have Luminous Lilac, Jewels and Berries Shimmering Sandstone and Plum Solitaire. I love it. While it's not long lasting and it will probably come out soon after eating, the colors are gorgeous. They're worth reapplying over and over. My favorite would be Luminous Lilac which is a really sheer lilac color that looks great if you want the "no make-up" look. Jewels and Berries is a dark mauve color that would look great if you want the glam look. I bought Plum Solitaire a few days ago and although I also like the color, it wasnt what I expected. The color was lighter than advertise but its okay. Shimmer Sandstone I bought a long time ago (I think more than a year ago) and it's a great brownish color. I haven't used it for a while though because I recently turned to purple and pink colors.

These are really fun lippies. My favs are Pink Carets and Marquis Peach. The colors are semi sheer and the microglitter gives a nice shimmery look without being too glittery. Not the best staying power but nice nonetheless.

I have several Wet Shine Diamonds colors and like them all. They are rather sheer, which is fine with me, with a little shine and glitter. About the only thing I don't care for much is the taste, but it's not a bad taste, so not a big problem. They last pretty well for a drugstore lipstick, but are not particularly long-lasting. Lots of color choices!

I have a few shades and I like them. The formula is creamy and the glitter doesn't feel gritty on my lips. It lasts on for a long time without weaaring off.

I purchased this in mauvey rock and this colour is the first one that hasn't turned bright pink on me it's very natural and very pretty and i am happy with it. It's a beautiful mauve that also alows your natural lipcolour to shine through it has a nice light shine. It's not as nice as the advertisment. But great lippie great price. Update 4/12/02 This lippie makes my lips peel ouch!!!

I only buy this product because they go on sale almost every other week for 2.99... I love the colors but there is really no dazzling diamond shine like they show in the commercials. The lipstick wears too easily (seriously, like after an hour, it fades and my lips become dull-looking) and it doesn't really moisturize. If you're looking for a cheap drugstore lipstick, this would work, but don't expect much from it.

Just picked up Pink Topaz yesterday. What a pretty color this is. It's kind of a pinkish/mauve with a touch of bronze (?) shimmer to it. Has pretty good staying power but I found a great combination to use it with that also helps it last longer. I'm really loving CG Outlast in Forever Fawn which is a very light pink almost "your lips but better" shade and was using their Quartz shimmer gloss. But the Pink Topaz realllly looks pretty over this and lasts a lot longer. The Outlast kind of works as a good base and keeps whatever you put over it on longer. I can already tell that I'll be grabbing this one a lot! Will most likely be checking out other shades in this line.
