I like this eyeliner. The felt tip is easy to use and gives a very nice line. The only problem is that it seems to dry out very quickly even though I make sure the top is on tightly.

I tried this as an eyeliner and was not impressed. But, after seeing Laura Geller on QVC with her eyebrow marker, I thought I would try this eyeliner on my eyebrows. I find it makes a great way to fill in sparse areas on my eyebrows and it does not run or flake. And, the cost is only a fraction of Laura Geller's product. Works for me.

I actually love this product! It is the only eyeliner I have found (liquid or marker type) that allows me to create a very fine, very precise line just along my lash line without constantly correcting mistakes and ultimately drawing a thicker line than I want to cover up the uneven line I started with! If it continues to perform as it has been since I purchased it, I will definitely buy again. Will update if it changes.

Just like the other reviewers said, great the first few times I used it. Then it dried out and stopped making marks! I'm not happy.

I purchased this in Ultra Black and loved it the first two or three times I used it. The color went on smooth and easy, and looked crisp and dark and freshly applied for the entire day. After a few uses though, the color became more and more watery and hard to apply and left me with more of a mottled gray wash rather than a nice black line. I stored it upside down, and carefully wiped the tip after I used it to prevent build-up, but I never could get the initial results again.

This really did look great the first time or 2 that I used it, but after that, I got horrible results. I stored the pen upside down as recommended, but that didnt help. The color became a struggle to evenly distribute, and i'd end up making a mess of my eyes and the felt tip would become very irritating as I'd struggle to get a precise line. I expected these results so it didnt really surprise me, but I wish I could've said otherwise, as it really did look amazing the first few times. I had the pen in black.

Wow... reviews all over the spectrum on this product. Gotta say I LOVE it. I like it even more than my Lancome Artliner (I'll have to bring that review down a lippie). They are on sale at CVS for 50% off. I bought it in all 3 colors they had... dark brown, warm black, and ultra black. Haven't tried the last one yet, but I adore the first two. I have NEVER been able to draw a thin line close to the lash line... this product makes it easy. The warm black is definitely misnamed. I would call it charcoal gray. Dark brown is my fav so far (I bought a back-up). Hope they are just repackaging and not discontinuing.

Pretty terrible. The point is so sharp that it gives a very thin line but also tugs on your skin, causing the liner to "skip".
Believe it or not, liquid liner is much easier to use than this. Very disappointed.

this product came dry and i tried doing the water trick (like with magic markers when you were little) but it did nothing. So basically a waste of $11, and my friend bought one too- and did the same thing.
It's a great concept but try actually putting in the liquid next time!

When I bought this is was very dry, so I ran a drop of water on the tip, capped it, and left it on overnight (My mom used to do this to dried out markers for me when I was little. xD). The next day it was moist enough to actually deposit some eyeliner on my eye lids. This does last 24 hours, but it is very hard to get on without it making a jagged line unless you can hold your hand steady at some unnatural angle. Since I can't do this, I didn't like it very much.

this was not i was looking for. at all.
i saw the ad for this and thought a felt-tip liquid eyeliner was worth a try...so i bought it and it sucked. i couldn't get the color on my eye, so i tried with a harder hand and after 5-10 mins of trying, all i got was pinkish red eyelids with barely any eyeliner on. i was so disappointed i went to get a refund right away. will not repurchase again.

I don't really like this product, and i don't know if its because i don't know how to apply it properly or because it sucks. When i use it on my hand it works fine, but when i try and apply it to my eye it just doesn't do the trick. I definately prefer my maybeline liquid liner over this. I like the concept of it though.

I LOVE this! The pen style and semi-rigid felt tip makes application so easy. It dries quick and lasts all day, unlike pencils which has a "melting" effect on me. Also makes applying the little "flick" at the outer corner of the eye super easy and looking great! My new favorite eyeliner!

This is CRAP. Okay, not complete and utterly unsalvageable crap... but crap nonetheless. I was attracted to this due to Elke Freudenberg's blog(beautynews.blogspot.com) and her gushing review of it. Well, Elke... I do not "love, love, love" it at all. I. Hate. It. (But I love you still!)
Anyways, down to the nitty gritty. Upon first usage, I noticed that the felt tip was a little to rigid and irritated my eyes a bit, but that didn't stop me from applying it. The marker made a nicely pigmented, defined line and it was long lasting once it dried (which took about 5 seconds).
However, upon second usage, some problems popped up. Firstly, the rigidity of the felt tip still irritated my eye and also prevented me from effectively making the line thicker or thinner as I wished. Instead, I had to utilize different parts of the tip, which created an awkward bumpy eyeline. Ew #1. When I went over the eyeline that I created to correct it, I noticed that the dried eyeliner ink clogged the tip of the marker. I had to keep wiping the tip to get the ink to flow, which consequently smudged and stained my fingers. Ew #2. I decided I had struggled enough and decided to take it off. With my trusted eye-makeup remover, I wiped it off. The combination of an already irritated eyelid (rigid tip), the irritating ink, and the usually non-irritating make-up remover stung my eye rendering it red and puffy. Ew #3. Also, once unbudged, the ink was smudgy EVERYWHERE! It was a nasty mess to take off! Ew #4. When I took it back to Target, they said they couldn't take it back like those kind people at Ulta. Cheap bastards. Ew #5.
Girls, just do yourselves a favor and go out and buy yourself a nice, good-quality, cheap eyeliner-marker like CoverGirl LineExact instead. At least that one's worth your time and money...

Much less smudgy than pencils, easier to apply than traditional liquid eyeliner and it actually holds on and is still there by the end of the day. I'm on my third purchase since I first discovered this product and I'm still just as happy with it as I was the the first time. This is the one thing in my makeup bag (aside from foundation/powder) that I will not leave the house without.
I replace mine every two months-ish, but I'm comfortable with that - it's usually starting to dry out/harder to apply by then, and the less chance of an eye infection, the better. :)

I don't think I am cut out for this product. I liked the idea of it - liquid eyeliner with built in brush. It promises to be easy to use. Maybe I'm demonstrating my makeup incompetence - but I had to take this stuff off as soon as I put it on. The built-in brush felt scratchy against my eyelids. The liquid came out much faster on the first eye than the second. And the product felt heavy and uncomfortable.
The first eye - unless I kept that eye shut until it dried completely (about 45 seconds) - I wound up with liquid eyeliner all over my eye. The line itself was splotchy.
The second eye - I suddenly couldn't use the fine tip on the brush to line underneath the eye - so the second eye had a much thicker line than the first as I attempted to maneuver the side of the brush to actually get a line. This eye didn't smear - but it also wound up just as splotchy (if not as dark) as the first eye.
This one isgoing promptly in the trash.

So I think I accidentally bought this twice, and hated it both times.
The first time you use it, it works pretty nicely. But then oil/makeup/whatever quickly clogs the tip, and it stops working. I just don't have the patience to try to figure out how to fix it, so on day 2, it's garbage.

I love this eyeliner as well. I am not-so-blessed with very oily skin and most eyeliners are smudged all over my eyeshadow half way through the day as my skin gets oily. I have used many other eyeliners from waterproof to "long lasting" to other felt tip eyeliners with no luck. In the winter i can get away with MAC powerpoint eyeliners, but I love this eyeliner for daytime wear or going out for the night. It lasts and lasts, and the color does not fade. Its pretty easy to apply as well. If I want more striking long lasting liner i use MAC fluidline, but so far, this is my HG.

This is my new HG eyeliner! I had tried the Cover Girl Liquid Pencil several times before but the only thing I like about it was how easy it was to apply. That's the only reason why I repurchased it. The CG Liquid Pencil would also disappear after a few hours of wear. I can go to sleep with the Physicians Formula Eye Marker and wakeup with it looking just the same as when I first put it on. I worked out doors all summer in over 100 degree temps and this stuff never sweated off, flaked off, or smudged. I am so impressed. I use the warm black during the day (since it's a little closer to gray) and the ultra black at night when I go out. Each Eye Marker has lasted me about 2 months (double the life of the Cover Girl Liquid Pencil). I will definitely keep repurchasing this stuff for as long as they make it.
