Color-wise, this is the very best color of a foundation I have ever found--hands down--I am a very fair skinned blonde/blue, with pink in my cheeks but more golden undertones--and I hate the chalky look or the undead look or the fake-tan look--I want something that looks natural, not made-up, but refined/polished looking--and this color in buff is perfect--the color seems to melt into my skin; but it doesn't give a heavy feel at all--on me the coverage is simply light, I guess I'd have to use a brush and wait for it to dry and reapply to see if I can build it up more--but with my fingers right after my primer settles it glides on and stays. Never feels tight, lasts the entire day, but I do get a bit shiny after 5-6 hours--have to touch up with powder--would LOVE a foundation that that doesn't happen to and doesn't dry me out or feel like I'm wearing a heavy mask--oh well :) Make sure you moisterize and prime, then this will LAST you all day :) Love the higher SPF, too. :)

I wouldn't buy this again. It takes a few weeks of use to notice little flaws in makeup and after a few weeks of use I noticed that this foundation really looks chalky and dull after only a few hours, it dulls my eyes and makes my skin look slightly pallid.
Not great and certainly stopped using it after noticing.
Sad, but I really think if you're going to spend money wisely, best to slurge on foundation first, everything else looks good if your foundation works.

I was a bit hesitant to try this foundation, because although it says it's for normal to dry skin, I've heard that it tends to cling on the dry areas and look bad on dry skin. I decided to try it anyway.
First thing that surprised me was that it didn't give me much coverage, even if it's been said to be a full coverage foundation. Maybe the oily/combination skin version gives more coverage, maybe I just didn't put enough of it, but layering it didn't help much. It only made my face look cakey, but all my redness and little acne scars were showing through.
The next time I tried it, I just used a thin layer and applied my concealer on the areas that needed covering and the foundation looked decent. It was very sheer, though, but that's much better than caking it on another layer.
It didn't last even 8 hours on me. It started wearing off after about 6 hours and I have dry skin. It was worn off on many areas, except the driest, like my cheeks. It looked gross and patchy on those dry parts and it would have been looking worse if the color wouldn't match perfectly for me. That's the great thing about this foundation. The lightest color 110 Ivory is perfect for my pale skin. I always have problems for finding shades that are pale enough for me.
I also heard that this foundation is difficult to remove, but I didn't have any problems of doing that. I wiped my face first with cleansing wipe (for dry and sensitive skin) and after that I used my Nivea Pure & Natural cleansing milk and rinsed it off with water and the foundation was all gone. I'm always doing this same ritual with long lasting foundations and it's always worked for me.
I think this is an okey foundation, even if it didn't appear to be a full coverage or long wearing for me. It suits for days when I don't need to be wearing make up all day. I'm going to use it, but I won't be repurchasing.
I love my Max Factor Lasting Performance foundation more, because it lasts all day, suits for my dry skin (it's very creamy and don't dry on my face) and covers better than any other foundation.

I really need to quit trying other foundations. I always come back to this one. While it has a lot of coverage, it is the most natural medium-full coverage foundation I've ever used. It is never mask-like. I am a light/medium skin tone (I'd be about an NW22 in MAC) and I wear Sand Beige 180 in this. I have dry skin, but I keep it well moisturized, so I don't tend to have flakies or anything. I use moisturizer and sunscreen under this, and it still doesn't feel heavy. I feel like this could work for any skin type, except maybe the most oily. I seriously love this foundation!

This is the foundation I always come back to. I guess it's my HG. I match the color to my chest not my jawline - so I go thru a lot of foundation. I do stipple on my foundation over serum, moisturizer and primer. I've also mixed the primer into the foundation and then stippled (seems to be a bit more luminous). Comes off easily with babywipes (make sure they are fragrance free) - then use cleanser.

I bough this as an accident.. I want the combination/oily one, but the seller gave me the normal/dry. At first, i'm really scared and want to change it to the drugstore (because i have a very oily skin and acne prone) but when i try it, it looks good and not oily for my skin. I read on other review about oily skin wear this foundation and it's good for them.
The package outside is quite nice, it's look simple but when you open it and realize that there is no pump to pull out the foundation, it's very complicated to pour the foundation.
The price is cheap too for a good foundation like this. It's about Rp 110.000,00 or $11.
I think this foundation looks best when you apply it with your hand. It looks more natural. This is also a good coverage foundation. I have many acne scars but when i wear this foundation without concealer, my skin looks flawless.
The bad thing, this foundation is hard to clean. I must cleanse with makeup remover then with facial wash, and with 2 times of toner! Or you can cleanse it with scrub (i forgot to bring my scrub from my other home)

I hate to say I am disappointed in a product with such rave reviews but I am/: I found that this foundation didn't want to blend into my skin nor did it give me much coverage. Maybe if I wore it over another foundation it's get a better effect but I'd hate to have to wear that much foundation. I do however love the shade I picked, 150 Buff! The undertone is neutral which is perfect for me. I will not repurchase.

Got it on sale here in CAN for $15.00. Worth the money, not disappointed thus far :)

After hearing so many good reviews on this product, I finally decided to pick it up. I was excited to try it out, so I wore it to school the next day. The staying power of this foundation is pretty good, but it does seem to oxidize and fade after 5-6 hours even when I do set with a power. I donít set with a powder often because I have dry, flaky skin. This foundation does seem to cake if I donít exfoliate (even so, thatís the problem with most foundations). This foundation does dry, and set pretty quickly, so I recommend you to work in small sections on your face when applying this foundation, using a damp sponge, or a dense flat top kabuki. However, you can also use a traditional foundation brush but I do find that it streaks. This foundation is lightweight although it is a medium to full coverage foundation. I am NC25 in MAC, #123 in MUFE, and Bamboo Beige in LM for reference. I do find that shade #180 Sand beige matches my skin tone really well.
After wearing it for a week or so, I started noticing that I had more acne than before, so I took a break from this foundation for a few days, and noticed that my skin has cleared up a little (I have acne-prone skin). Another thing that I noticed with this foundation is that there are tiny tiny specs of shimmer in this foundation. It doesnít bother me that much, but I do prefer a foundation with no glitters, or shimmers. This foundation does have a scent, but itís not overly strong so I do not think it would be a bother to most people. As for the packaging, it does come in a sleek, glass bottle. I do like it a lot, but if only it came with a pump (Like many others have said before myself)! Overall, I probably would not repurchase this foundation due to the fact that it does look a bit cakey on my face, and it broke me out. Was worth a shot though. :)

I hated the old CS w/o softlex. It was very masky and thick. This is much better. I applied it with mac 187 sprayed with water which made a huge difference in the finish; it looked almost dewy! It still is more full coverage than I like or need. No need for concealor on broken caps and less on dark under eye circkles. I moisturized my dehydrated comb.skin with Avene light hydrance optimale (light hydrating cream here) and Smashbox photo finish light primer. Wear was ironproof for the 12 h I had it on. Some Elf Hd loose powder on top.
It was still obvious I was wearing fndn but it looked flawless. Nowadays there are many more natural-looking and longwearing fndns available like my HGs GA Luminous, JK Light as Air, Revlon Photoready, Rimmel Lasting Finish, Isadora Active Moist.. I probably will use this as a concealor only.
110 Ivory is a match.
