I get SoftLips for free at my mom's salon, and it rules. Very soft, waxy but not too much so, and moisturizes splendidly. I wear this often during the day. It smells good and really doesn't look like I'm wearing anything, and I love that it has SPRF in it. Every other product I have tried with SPF melted off or smelled horrible, but this is lovely.

I LOVE Softlips Cherry flavor. Its very moisterizing, feels good and smells terrific. For me it works far better than Carmax or Chapstick. You cant get a better Cherry smell than this. Simply lucious!

Not the best at moisturizing feels like some balm sitting on top of my dry flaky lizard lips but the smell and tingle is gooood.

For a basic lip balm, this one is pretty good. Nice scent and just glides right on. I have been through so many tubes of this and it's still my fav. ;)

This product smells good but it is very light and does not stay on for very long at all. I hated having to re apply every 20 minutes.

Very disappointing. Leaves a tingly/burning feeling. The spell is ok. Though the tube is small and perfect, after awhile I could not get the gloss back down into the tube.

I love Soft Lips and the cool cherry is definitely my favorite flavor. It tastes so good and makes my lips so soft and moisturized. I love the glossy shine and minty tingle it leaves behind. I love that it has SPF in too. My boyfriend drives a '03 Mustang Cobra convertible and trust me, if you've ever had sunburned lips, you know much that can hurt! Plus it's great have a lip balm with SPF in it that doesn't leave my lips feeling sticky and my hair sticks to it while flying around in the wind. I never have a problem when I use soft lips. My lips are always soft and shiny, and my boyfriend loves it too. :) This is the best lip balm in the world and I will buy it forever! I highly recommend this stuff, I love it!

I got this as a gift for Christmas and I loved it! I just ran out a few days ago. I love the tingling that happens after it's applied, and the taste is awesome! The only thing I don't like about it is that it doesn't last for very long and I have to constantly apply it.

I've worn SoftLips religiously since 1997. I love the chill and tingle after applying. Smooth, silky, lightweight texture, high SPF without the gross sunscreen taste. The tube is sleek and fits nicely into a pants pocket without a weird bulge.

I never buy anything else to use on my lips. I have very, very sensitive skin and I am prone to cold sores and pimples on my lip line (how attractive). Softlips always leaves my lips feeling soft and supple and NEVER causes any type of reaction at all. I tried to use Burt's Bees and Bonne Bell in the past and ended up with horrible reactions. I will never stop buying softlips!!

Even though this was a pretty good product and had sun protection, I didn't give it a full five stars. For me, one of the most important thing is a subtle sweetness. This tasted like sunscreen, like so many before me have said.
However, this IS good for applying liberally at night, since you really don't feel the need to lick your lips or have your significant other kiss you :0) I would buy this again, but only for night-time use.
EDIT: Actually, this isn't great as I thought earlier. Sure, it makes your lips nice and smooth... but only for a while. I found my lips chapped a lot after using this and had to reapply over and over.

I love Softlips Cool Cherry! I have always had chapped lips, and I used chapstick. My lips were still dry. Then I saw an ad in a magazine for softlips, so I decided to give it a try. I felt my lips smooth and silky, and I loved it! I went to repurchase after I finished it, and at the store there was a two-for-one-deal! I give it a 4 because the tube is small, and chapstick has a bigger tube.

I have been using this stuff for about 6-7 years now and I buy it 2 or 3 at a time. I cannot live without it. My guy friend even borrows it sometimes! It feels like silk on your lips, it medicates and it has SPF. It doesn't feel sticky or waxy or taste bad like other cheap lip balms/chap sticks do.

I'll stick to classic Chap Stick. It was nice at first, with the tingle and all, but once it absorbed, it just left my lips drier and flakey. Will not repurchase.

Nice scent. Smooth application. Feels nice on the lips and does make them soft. Slight sheen to it. I'm ALWAYS applying it if it's in my pocket. It becomes quite the habit. :-) Plus the SPF doesn't hurt.

I really thought I was going to like this, but I don't. It burns my lips when I put it on and it works no better than chapstick. I'm really dissapointed.

I love this chapstick. I use it everyday and have been doing so for years. I like to put it on under lipstick or lip gloss. It has also prevented my lips from getting chapped...I haven't had chapped lips since I began using this!
