A somewhat generic-smelling sweet floral with a touch of patchouli. I find it headache-inducing (though most department store fragrances nauseate me). As someone else has noted, it's rather artificial, a scrubber for sure.

I loved this when I first sniffed it on a test strip and bought it right away.
Big mistake.
On skin this smells sooooo fake and chemical perfumey. I couldn't even pick out any notes of anything. Just chemical fake perfume smell. It's loud right out of the bottle, but it only scented my clothes. It disappeared on my skin. What little bit stayed on never developed into anything. No musk, no nothing. Just chemical "blah" and then gone.
It's too expensive for what it is and the packaging is the *TACKIEST* crap I've ever seen! Who the hell glues cloth onto a perfume bottle??? And Burberry plaid at that??? I could see if it were a lovely silk or something on a woman's perfume, but heavy flannel PLAID?!?! Ugh!
I would not repurchase again. :thumbs down:

I'm 25 and think this is a fragrance for my age above. It's a heavier version of freshness, but not over-the-top. Sometimes it smells like herbs, sometimes like sweet ice. Very interesting to say the least. I grew up in London but the smell doesnt remind me that much of London. I would say it's the brand that does that more. I don't know if it's my ultimate signature but it's a good start.

I just got this for my birthday, and I really like it a lot. It's not HG, but it's a lovely scent that I've gotten a ton of compliments on, from men and women alike. Staying power is good, too -- people still tell me I smell great hours after application. All in all, I'm very glad to add this one to my fragrance wardrobe.

I love this scent, and I generally hate flowery scents. But this actually reminds me of my trip to London (though, I think its because it smells similar to the travel shampoo I brought than anything that was actually in London). Since this trip was my favorite trip ever, I love the scent. I would not wear it alone, though, because I'm an oriental scents person, but I would mix it with others, or spray it in my purse or on my scarves. It's light not overpowering. Reserved like the English. (or, you know, how they're stereotypically portrayed.)

Love this scent! It's a very pretty, sweet, rich floral that isn't too heavy, cloying or "flowery." I find the lasting power to be a bit above average. No phenomenal, but quite good. I rarely finish a bottle of anything, but I'm about 2/3 of the way through this one and will likely re-purchase. I hope by that time the packaging is redesigned, as the fabric covered bottle is so ugly - the seams are crooked, it's rough, thick, coarse fabric, and I can't carry it in my bag because it gets smudges on it and looks dirty; come on, Burberry... you can do better than this!!

Florals are not my type of fragrance, so I'm not crazy about this - but, if you love florals, this would definitely be one to try. Not sexy. Ok for the office or a wedding, etc.

This is my go to everyday fragrance, I love it. It's simple, doesn't overpower and most importantly, doesn't give me a headache. It is much lighter than my previous favorite, Michael. Thumbs up.

This is my new summer everyday fragrance! I love how it's floral and sweet, but still a bit spicy and sultry at the same time. Not too overpowering either. I do have to say that I really don't like the bottle though - couldn't they have come up with something nicer than fabric? Also, the price was a bit high for my taste. So I just yearned for it...until I found it in CVS for $35 for the 3.3 oz (it was a mistaken price tag - was supposed to be $49.99 since that what rang up, but they had to give me the price on the tag :) ), AND I had a $5 coupon. Now I am a very, very happy camper :).
I have gotten so many compliments on this!

Burberry London is a really lovely feminine fragrance that does remind me of a walk in London, I also find the advertisements with Rachel Weisz to be quite fitting. Now on to my fragrance journey... Upon spritzing my fragrant journey begins as I walk along an English avenue and sense the sweet scent of Honeysuckle and English Rose blooming in the dawn of day. The scent lingers long after I pass the avenue. As evening falls over the London skyline I sense intriguing sandalwood coming from somewhere near by, I follow the scent to find it coming from a mysterious looking jazz club, I follow the scent, feeling elegant and chic, I venture inside.

I love this fragrance. It is quite flowery with a hint of vanilla. It can be a little overpowering so I only spray 1/2 pump so I don't overwhelm the other people in the office. In the summer, it might be a bit much. Try Ralph or Amor Amor for summer. This is the perfect fall fragrance.

Description: Burberry's new fragrance embodies the elegant, yet modern spirit of Burberry London. It epitomizes the cosmopolitan London lifestyle with independence and relaxed confidence.
Notes:
Clementine, Honeysuckle, English Garden Rose, Tiare Flower, Jasmine, Peony, Veil of Musks, Indian Sandalwood, Patchouli.
On Me: a very feminine fragrance...first off i get a really sharp blast of the honeysuckle a flowery honey smell which fades to a mellowy honeysuckle smell an hour or so and 4 hours later i get a woody flowery smell that i find quite common.
the advertisment with rachael weisz really suits this fragrance. a modern classic feminine understated yet sophisticated fragrance perfect for workplace or the weekends. the tartan plaid idea is cute but i find it looks terrible on my bottle & the sitches are unrevelings. personally i feel this perfume is nice but theres just something missing...i would probably not repurchase. i rather get burberry brit...

This one was love at first sniff, and I actually thought it was good b/c it lasted all day on me! Well, the "lasting" part was not very complementary. A nice, slightly spicy (on me, at least) floral, but the dry down is strange, plasticy and artificial. One of the notes just turns on me and ruins the scent. It smells better on paper than on me, in the long run. I wish I could get some use out it but am not sure what to layer/ mix it with. Too strong in all the wrong ways. Just not for me unless it's worn very very lightly- but the icky drydown is still there.

Burberry London is a composition of Tiare Flower, Clementine, Honeysuckle, Jasmine, Peony, Musks, Indian Sandalwood and Patchouli. It opens up like a bouquet of well orchestrated white florals. It seems like a loud recipe but it was very pleasing to the nose once the alcohol from the beginning wears off. I could picture the scenery of Tahiti when I apply this. The scent of jasmine is intense but I must say that the rest of the flowers are weaved tightly and I could not make a distinction of them. It stays well on my skin for only 3 hours.
I must comment on the design of the bottle. It is very nice and thoughtful. A typical Burberry inspired tartan fabric wrapped around the bottle is a very unique creation.
The advertising and the branding is good about this scent but I am not sure if I would go for a full bottle of this as it is not all that intriguing and lacks a soul.

I love Burberry Brit and Classic but this doesn't blow me away like the others. It is a safe creamy floral and I am always on the look out for something different. Boyfriend says it is just ok...sigh Lasting power is decent. This may sound strange but there is also something that smells burnt that I catch every once in a while. I like Burberry Classic much better.

Oooh, the honeysuckle in the initial notes is just a ticket to summer! The musky, clean drydown is gorgeous. I love this fragrance, but I have to say it doesn't put me in mind of London.Would repurchase, it's great for warm weather nights!
