Love this stuff! I just now realized I should be using the serum in the morning. I have been saving it for my night regimen only. This stuff is so great, I stare at my skin in the mirror at night. My husband must think I am crazy when he catches me examining my skin in the mirror. I am not a vein person - but it does wonders and I like results I see.

Although this is an amazingly expensive serum, it has significantly improved my skin in many ways. I had first purchased a sample from eBay, and noticed a great deal of improvement in my complexion, so I didn't feel too bad when I ordered the full-size bottle from Gloss.com. When the bottle arrived, I was able to begin using it immediately since I'd just finished up my sample bottle the night before. Once I'd begun the new bottle, I discovered that I had even better results, so it made me think that my sample had either been old or diluted or both! Whatever the case may be, I'm just glad to be using a new bottle of the serum, and my complexion has never looked more calm and radiant, even though I'll be 30 next month...I don't understand why my skin didn't look this good when I was 15?? I will never be without my CDLM and Serum de La Mer! I've had zero instances of blemishes since beginning my La Mer regimen over two months ago, and I used to get one or two monthly cystic blemishes. Even my two hard-nosed sisters-in-law complimented my radiant complexion recently, and one does not easily receive compliments from those two:)

ABSOLUTELY ASTOUNDING PRODUCT!!!!!!!!!!! Truly this is an amazing product -- simply extraordinary results.
It is very expensive -- but you really do only have to use a few drops at a time to cover your whole face. It spreads easily and covers completely.
It is very luxurious to use and leaves your skin very soft and lovely looking.
But, I "accidentally" discovered how amazing the product is by using it on the back of my hands.
The skin on my face is in such good shape -- that sometimes it is difficult for me to really notice the change a product is making.
So a “trick” I often use to test out a product's true mettle -- to test the real effect a new product is capable of having on my skin -- is by putting it on the back of my hands b/c the top my hands always need some TLC.
The results were instant and remarkable -- within 20 minutes I saw “new“ hands.
The skin on the back of my hands looked DRAMATICALLY improved -- I have NEVER seen the skin on my hands look so young and smooth. They look like a child's hands!
I am now fully committed to using this product b/c I now KNOW just how miraculous it is. My face isn't in the dire need of repair that the back of my hands are -- but if it can make them look gorgeous -- then it is certainly doing the same thing on my face.
The results may take a few weeks to show up on my face -- b/c my face skin is so well taken care of -- but I know it is doing the same repair work there too! It’s no wonder people RAVE about this MIRACLE product!!
UPDATE: the dropper broke on my bottle too. I called gloss.com and they are sending me a replacement bottle!

I can't get enough of this stuff! It takes the reddness out of my skin. My face totally glows, when I use this. Everytime I use it people complement my skin. I have had someone actually stop me and have other people look at my skin, when I have put it on that morning. I want to let them believe its just natural genetics, but I love bragging about La Mer, so everyone knows why my skin is so radiant!

Ok I was insane for getting this one... it was $175 for like an ounce and beware because my bottle broke. Well more like the pump for the dropper broke... you would think something costing that much would have a better container! well.. I haven't used it all to this day... I can't really tell any improvement... but maybe it is meant for different skin with different issues... so i'll let y'all decide for yourself... but for me i saw no real changes.

This is a serum to use if you have dry, dull skin, or uneven toned skin. I have sensitive and combination skin, and I used this from my mother. Personally, this did nothing for my face. Nothing worth the amount of money you'd have to pay for it. I do admit, that you get softer skin ( like a babys) and you do get the glow. But honestly, you could get the "glow" if you use the CDLM or the lotion. My mother is over her 50's and she uses this to replenish her skin with extra moisture. It did not diminish her lines and wrinkles, so she uses Awake Serum-unsign. I think this is an effective product if you want glowy skin- and if the original lotions/cremes did not help with that. This is better for younger women, who has less lines and wrinkles. I believe a good moisturizer will help plump the fine lines and wrinkles up, and diminish their appearance. DO not get this product if you already have lines and wrinkles- It won't work, and you'll be wasting your money on that false promise. Do use this product if you're just starting to see fine lines, or if your skin is dull. I don't think I will be repurchasing this serum. My skin is perfect with the CDLM alone and a spf of 30.

This is the only La Mer product that hasn't worked for me. It makes me break out. After hearing all the miraculous things it did for others, I was hoping it would do the same for me. Oh well. I will still use the oil absorbing lotion and the sunscreen.

I must confess that I used to be one of those "abusers" who all during college, went to bed with their makeup on *gasp*, wore no spf, didn't really have a skin care regimen. Now that I've grown up I don't have skin problems, but feeling guilty, I guess I feel I must make up for the past. I first started with the serum, then the creme, then the oil-absorbing moisturizer, then the regular moisturizer, then the gel cleanser, and now I am looking for a reason to spend a ridiculous $275 on The Concentrate. I will not, however, spend the money for the toner, deconstructed waters or not! I use the serum everyday, and while I don't have any major skin problems, I used to have combination and somewhat uneven skin. The serum has completely "cured" that. I also find that if you exfoliate quite often (no, I don't have to facial product- yet), you use much less of the Serum. When I started out, I used 3-4 drops, but I now use SkinClean (yes, a non-LaMer product), I only have to use 1 or 2 drops- so the bottle last much longer. Though it is expensive, I would much rather pay money for something I know works, than spend tons of money on cheaper products that may be hit or miss. I have heard the Oil of Olay's Regenerist serum is a good substitute, but I tried a sample and hated it.

Along with the creme this product is so fantastic. I go through this so fast that is the only downside. I use an ounce of this every 3 months or so. It leaves my skin glowing and nicely hydrated. If I use it with the oil control in the summer it leaves my skin nice and dewy not dry. This is a must in my arsenal of skincare. I will probably keep buying this for a very long time.

I'm on my third full-sized bottle of the La Mer Face Serum. While it is pricey, you can find it cheaper online. But it lasts forever and for Asian skin that gets hyperpigmentation after every cut or blemish, this is a good safety net that calms things down before they turn into another brown mark. Once again, I like the "glow" I get with this serum.

I got turned on the LM Moisturizing Lotion when my much richer than I roomate brought some home. I was hooked within two days! Being the greedy sort, the fabulous results I got from the lotion just made me wonder whether integrating more of the line would increase the benefits. The only additional product that led to more positive results was the serum. And, oh my, what an increase! The lotion moisturized my skin wonderfully - no break outs or anything. But it is the serum that leads to smoother, more even toned skin IMHO. If you want skin that feels so good you could scream, I'd recommend teaming this product with the moisturizer.

I got this as a sample with my recent La Mer purchase at Neiman Marcus. I really like this serum and will purchase a full size bottle. I wear it under my makeup during the day. I put on CDLM at night. My make up seems to go on smoother and my complexion is clear and rosy. Great line but I wonder about the real story behind the "miracle broth". C'mon...a NASA scientist? Regardless, I like the product and I encourage everyone to try it.

I bought a bunch of sample size vials off of ebay, so I'm sure I paid wuite a bit less, and the packaging is a little different. I use this in conjunction with the creme during the day, and Darphin chamomile aromatic oil and arovita c cream at night. it really seems to calm my skin down (especially the breakouts and redness) and it keeps me from using too much cream. I think this is something you should definitely try if you can get a sample size, because it seems to have a different effect on different people. It REALLY helps my skin! so I recommend- as long as you don't pay full price!

I have been using CDLM for several months now and am happy with the results - so I decided to try the face serum. The price is ridiculous. The rubber dropper broke off after three days - a common problem it seems after reading other reviews. I ended up using a glue to mend it, I should have just taken it back. The serum itself does seem to help calm my sensitive skin down, but I have to say that the effect is only temporary. I have yet to see any permanent benefit to my skin. So, overall, for the price La Mer should have better packaging and the product should do a little more than it does.

I got a smaple bottle of this stuff last summer when I bought the Creme. It did not do a whole lot on its own, but when used in specific areas on top of the moisterizer, it evened out the tone a bit. The rubber stopper broke and the cap got stuck so I had to pull the rubber part out and and dab it onto my fingers to use it. Packaging was no good. But it is soo expensive I would not buy it probably.

I'm only on day three of using this serum, and even though I usually have to wait at least two weeks before reviewing a product, I had to rave about this NOW! While visiting my mother I saw this in her bathroom so I decided to toss on a few drops. Hours later, my skin was looking remarkably nice, and I couldn't think why, till I remembered the serum. Now, three days later, my skin tone has evened out, my blackheads have disappeared, and my skin simply appears luminous. I had good skin to begin with but this really put a glow on my skin and a smile on my face! Took off an overall lippie because of the exorbitant price (which I will still continue paying).

For those of you who have read my review of La Mer's Moisturizing Lotion, you will not hear any better comments about the face serum. This had been touted to me as a miracle product--which, at $175 per once, was the LEAST I was expecting. This did nothing for my skin at all. I got better results from a $6 bottle of Vitamin C serum from Sally's Beatuty Supply. The product is touted as containing a more concentrated, purer formulation of the seaweed complex responsible for the major hype of the La Mer line (hence, the price tag). In any case, this product was mediocre at best, and the ultimate slap in the face was that the application dropper came apart during the last couple of weeks during its use. I think for $175, La Mer could come up with higher quality packaging, if not the product, itself. Bottom line: Even if you can afford this product, it is still a waste of money. There are much, much better--and cheaper--products on the market.

I bought this first, before getting the moisturizer. I was working 18 hours a day for 5 days in a row, and the morning after I used the serum for the first time, my colleague said that I must have finally gotten some sleep because I looked so fresh! Enough said. I felt the difference in my skin after the first day too -- it felt very smooth, and my usually uneven skin (which is very breakout prone) was smoother than it had ever been. BUT it only lasted for a week. My skin did not feel as silky smooth as it first felt during the initial few days. Maybe it was due to my having gotten "used" to the smooth feeling? But I doubt it. Maybe it works, but I wouldn't buy it again...I think.
