Bought this because it had high ratings in Allure mag. Unfortunately did not like this product. It did not remove Mac fluidlines or BB gel liner well at all, and difficult to remove waterproof mascara. Works okay on eyeshadow and regular mascara.

This is the first non-liquid eye makeup remover I have tried and I am sold. It's not oily or greasey, and it completley removes my eye makeup. I just put it directly on my eye, rub in circles, and wipe it off with a tissue. Defenite repurchase!

This is for the Nivea Visage EMR. Worst EMR I've ever used. Doesn't dissolve it at all- you have to rub and rub to get the mascara off, no matter how much you use. Hated it.

I love this product because it gentle, it doesn't sting my eyes, and it doesn't leave me greasy. I only took 1 lippie away from the overall rating because I don't like the packaging. It comes in this tube and when you squeeze it to get the product out, it comes out too fast. The product is pretty drippy, they should have packaged it differently. BUT STILL! I love the product inside, so I will definately repurchase.

My sister told me about this product a while back saying it was featured in a magazine of hers as their top pick for eye makeup remover, but I could never find it anywhere until just the other night when I was looking for some moisturizing cleansers for my dry skin that I saw had good reviews on here. I got the last one they had and I've been using it for the past few days. It takes off my new hard to remove MAC Zoom mascara easily and without leaving a greasy residue just like the back of the tube says. When I run out I'll buy it again if I'm lucky enough to find it!

(There seem to be a few Nivea eye makeup removers, so I'll specify that this review is for the Nivea Visage Eye Makeup Remover.)

I bought this to remove waterproof mascara (Maybelline Full-n-Soft) and it works very well. I tend to have sensitive eyes and this doesn't irritate them, nor do I have to rub my eyelashes forever to remove the makeup. It doesn't leave a greasy residue or dry out the eye area. I like it.

Terrible! This did not do a thing at all to remove my eye make up. I had to do a lot of wiping and pulling and tugging, which made my eyes red and painful. I am sticking with Johnsons Baby Shampoo for my eye makeup removal. The packaging sucks too.

I ran out of my Biotherm gel and thought I'd buy Nivea having used it in the past and though it was OK. Well they must have done somethign to the formula because I did not remember it being this bad! Granted, it doens't sting and feels a little refreshing on the skin, but it's not very good at removing eye makeup! I feel I have to wipe more than I'd like (a remover is supposed to "melt" the makeup away so that you don't have to stress the think skin around the eyelids by repeated wiping...) Won't buy again. Will repurchase Biotherm if I can find it!

*discontinued product* So... my review is moot...
Keep repurchasing this b/c it removes eye mu easily w/out stinging my eyes(I use MK's Endless Performance mascara). If I don't let it sink in long enough, it only removes approx. 97% of it, but the trick is to let it sit and do its thing. It's true the tube must be propped upside down after squeezing some out or it keeps coming out - gave low pkging points for this. Edit: MK Endless Performance is a "stay-put" mascara. Any other mascara comes off easily/completely.

It's useless and not very gentle for your eyes. I found it doesn't really clean the eye makeup. There are so many other products out there that are way better..

Try Rimmel or L'oreal eye makeup remover. ($CDN 7 and $CDN 10) Both smell and work the same way.

This is a pretty handy makeup remover to carry around. It gets off your eye makeup without rubbing, except for the waterproof mascara. That might require a little bit of scrubbing, but other than that it works pretty well. The price is reasonable, and I would definantly buy it again.

Takes off the eye makeup completely and even the Lipfinity/Outlast lipsticks. I wear 2 full coats (top and bottom - both sides) of L'Oreal Intensifique Mascara with another coat of waterproof over it. If I put this on my lashes and let it sit for about 10 seconds everything then wipes away easily. Same for the lips - just let it sit. I wear extended wear contacts so anything oily is a no-no.

This must be the worst eye make up remover I've ever tried. I have the one for waterproof mascara and longlasting lipstick, and it doesn't do anything to take it off. After a lot of frustration, rubbing and tugging around the eye area all it does is crumble the outer layer of the mascara, resulting in clumps coming off into my eyes but still leaving about 95% of the mascara on my lashes. I get more off using soap and pulling the mascara off with my fingers, a big no no!
The packaging sucks, when I hold it upside down to pour some out into my hands I always end up with too much. It also leaks when it's laying down without the top on, and it's hard to get more out while trying to take the top off with slippery fingers. Messy. It's a lot of money to pay for a useless product! I won't buy this again, now I use baby oil and it works great!

I love this product. It removes makeup very effectively yet gently too. It's also not greasy like many other makeup removers.

I think this eye-makeup remover is great! Since it's creamy - it seems like you don't have to rub your eyes like you do with liquid removers. I think it's a lot better than all the department store brands that I've tried so far! Plus, it doesn't irritate my sensitive eyes - great for contact lens wearers!

A nice eye makeup remover. It's pretty good and I'd buy again but it's not rave-worthy. It doesn't irritate my eyes but I find I need to use quite a bit of product to get it to work well. I probably would repurchase simply because it's affordable and I know it works.

Apparently this eye makeup remover is an "Allure Best Of" product - or at least the red Allure sticker on the tube would have you believe that.

I am SUCH a sucker for this kind of advertisement!

Anyway, i needed some more eyemakeup remover anyway, so i was at Walgreens and picked this up for $6.

Not the best, not the worst - i just don't get why it was voted Allure's #1 eye makeup remover? I think i'm partial to a a liquid remover and this is a cream remover which instructs you to rub a the lotion over each lid and then remove with a tissue. One too many steps for me. I just like somethign that i can squeeze on a cotten square and be done with it.

I find that i have to make two rounds of use for each eye to get all the mascara/liner off. Granted i am using MAC power point liner which takes a little work to get off - but i won't be purchasing this one again...

I LOVE this MU remover!! I have oily skin & wear one of those stubborn ultra matte stay put foundations, & this stuff gets it all off without ant greasy feel!! WOW!!! I think it is abit pricey- maybe I am just too cheap- because it is about $6 for this teeny tube that doesn't last but a couple of weeks. Also , I wish it were in some kind of pump thingy. IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND! I never see it at the usual spots- I got so tired of hunting it down every time I ran out that I ordered about 10 tubes from drugstore.com. (Free shipping w/$25 order). Now I have a
stockpile. This is the best MU remover out there!

I use maybelline volume express (waterproof) and Nivea does a very fast and efficient job of removing it. However it does sting a bit but it's way better than loreal's eye make up remover!
