This has been "my" fragrance for years. It's chic and sexy and you have my word men love it. It odesn't have a yucky undertone that comes up after a while at so many other fragrances. And it's very unique, which is important for me.

My absolute favorite Dior fragrance. I always receive compliments when I wear it. Since receiving an "Addict" gift set for Christmas, I am now wearing it. But, this one will always remain my favorite

Dropped by the CD counter on Thursday for my beloved Diorskin. Picked this up, sprayed it on, walked out the door and every fly in Canberra converged on me.

Verdict: Great for fly breeders.

I absolutely adore this perfume.

I echo the prior posting regarding every time I wear it, someone asks me what I'm wearing and tell me how good I smell.

I've bought this perfume three times and I love it! This perfume and dior addict are my favorites. Without fail, everytime I wear this scent someone asks me what I'm wearing and love the scent. This one is wearable during both day and night (unlike some other dior scents). LOVE IT!

I'm very surprised at the huge percentage of reveiws here that do not note the overwhelming burnt-cedar top note of this perfume. The lovely white-flower/ white powder notes are almost completely overwhelmed. That said, I actuallly considered buying this to fumigate my sweater storage.

Dolce Vita has really grown on me. It's a sweet, pretty floral with distinctive spicy and slightly woody undertones. Feminine in a classic, old-fashioned sort of way. My grandmother wears it, and I really like wearing it in the winter.

This is a wonderful smelling fragrance with a warm chypre and fruit undertone. I ALWAYS get compliments when I wear this and my boyfriend LOVES it. It's very sexy and definitely my favorite fragrance!! I will be wearing this for years to come.

I got the lighter version of this... the Eau De Dolce Vita... it smells light and refreshing... I absolutely suck at describing scents so don't even ask me to try... lol... but this is ideal in the spring or summer time when some scents you normally love turns strong and heavy... use this one it goes on light and stays that way... never overwhelming to the nose...

This is a sensual night fragrance! I give it a 4 for price, but good fragrances are often spendy. Vanilla tones, many compliments.

This must be the worst fragrance I have ever tried - it gives me a bad headache and makes me feel ill. It reminds me of mothballs doused in nail polish remover.

Dolce Vita reminds me of a chic version of Féminité du bois (Shiseido). Full of cedar mixed with pina colada.

I'm commenting not on the regular La Dolce Vita but on the Eau de Dolce Vita, which is a lighter version of the scent. It's really quite nice. For a long time, all I wanted was single-note perfumes or perfumes made of only one sort of scent family (Aliage, a VERY green scent from Estee Lauder, is a famous example of that, and a perfume I still love). Now I'm liking much more complicated fragrances, because I think they suit who I am better. This scent has several components, all of which are good alone, but most of all, together, they're quite nice. Rose, sandalwood and something fruity stand out to me in this scent. I wear this, Chance, Allure, Stila's Jade Blossom, and sometimes Lolita Lempicka (never for day!) or L'Feu d'Issey (again, never for day!).

I like Dior scent --always have since getting a bottle of Miss Dior as a teenager.

Dolce Vita is one of their best new scents. It is strong with sandalwood, in fact, the dry down is very cedary--the sandalwood and cinnamon seem to combine to create a sense of a cedar closet or pencil sharpenings.

As it is a perfume of the 90's, fruit notes prevail: apricot, peach and cinnamon and the base of the fragrance is: sandalwood amber and vanilla-typical also of the 90's. The top notes are floral lily, magnolia and rose. The rose and lily with sandalwood make this an update of Miss Dior, which was rose and woodsy notes, with a chypre base (chypre was very 50's.)

This perfume comes in an attractive crystal flacon with bubble-like concave depressions--it's round and is jolly-looking. A great daytime scent, usually will not provoke anyone negatively.

I wish I knew why I loved this scent. It does indeed smell like cedar, flowers, and yes, it's a bit mediciney. Oddly, though, it doesn't offend me in the least; in fact, it makes me wickedly happy and it doesn't rile up my allergies, so I wear it now and then for something unique when I'm not in the mood for a really warm scent.

I love Dolce Vita. I would describe it as a cedar chest full of flowers, opened on a warm day. It is very unique and not like any other fragrance I know of, and for that reason I love it- there aren't that many original smells out there these days!

This is a horrid fragrance, it literally makes me nauseous. smells mustty and masculine, like an old abandoned wood cabin that has begun to disintigrate.
