At first, I didn't think this gave me much, color but I liked it because I was able to blend it in really well and I am normally horrible at that. But then I started to get more color only it was yellowy, and the smell started to really bother me. Plus I never did like the greasiness. I'm so glad I finally finished this. Now I can use the Aveeno one since I've heard really great things about it. ~~jax

I have really pale skin, and this works great. after a few days I have a nice natural color. The smell does have a smell of self-tanners, but isnt as bad as normal ones, so I dont mind it. I'll def buy this again. It sure beats risking a burn sitting out in the sun (my skin burns, then tans).

This works great for me - I haven't noticed any streaky lines. I just use it on my face - the rest of me is tan I just try to keep my face out of the sun to prevent premature wrinkles... I have dry skin that is not blemish-prone...

How I love the color I get from this product, but, alas, the processing smell is just overwhelming so I have switched to Hawaiian Tropic which is much nicer. I would go back to Jergens in a heartbeat if they could overcome the scent issue.

I've used about 3/4 of this bottle but over the course of a year because it smells soooooooo bad, i can't apply it ever day.It gives colour to my fair skin, it definetely does..but the smell is such a turn off...and it is greasy and feels heavy on my skin.
I bought Vaseline glow today and WOW it DOES NOT smell! and it is not greasy like Jergens and doesn't feel like it leaves a film.
I threw out my Jergens and i am going to continue to use Vaseline's version.
Jergens natural glow is crap.Smells too bad.If you want a daily subtle tanner, they work, but try to choose one that does not have a strong, lingering scent.

I will never buy this again because it smells completely disgusting, like cheap perfume. I was so self-conscious of the smell that I can't use it on a regular basis-- only after I shower at night because I don't want people I encounter to think I wear cheap perfume.
I have fair skin and found that it definitely does give me color. However, I noticed uneven splotches on my legs even though I took care to apply it evenly. It fades quickly and needs to be used almost every day to get decent color.
Another major drawback is the stickiness. If you apply before wearing pants, forget it. It felt so gross and sticky even though I waited a half-hour before putting on my jeans.

This is the worst. I am fair skinned, so maybe that's the problem. The very first application is OK but once I use it again, it is very orange and then the fade? Forget it. It fades splotchy and looks like I have a skin disease. This is yuk!!

The three things I noticed about this product: 1) It smells really bad - really, really bad, 2) I have fair skin but even after I went through an entire bottle of the Light, my legs are still blindlingly white, and 3) It takes forever to absorb. Considering the first things I should have noticed are the excellent moisturizing and self-tanning properties, this is a HUGE miss for me. I will probably cave in and buy a bottle of the Medium to see if it will be any different...

I have somewhat fair skin but I have always tanned easily (if I took it slowly). I have had some poor experiences with self-tanners in the past -- most have that *smell* and I was often left with a fake looking color. This one works really well and I like the gradual even toned color change that it gave me, but I cannot get past that self-tanner smell. I will probably buy this again since I like the outcome, but I sure wish they could change the scent in some way ... but overall, I'm very pleased.

I love the idea of this product, and the smell didn't bother me AT ALL - I didn't even notice the scent until I started reading about it on MUA. (And this is from a person who hates the smell of most self-tanners.) My only problem is that the light shade is way too light for me. My legs are crazy pale, but I had to go out and buy the medium shade. I guess that's the trade off -- no streaks but no dark color. Overall pretty happy with this product now that I've switched to medium.

I would give this 3.5 lippies, actually, but since that's not an option......The important thing about this product for me is that it is very very forgiving. I've not had problems with uneven absorbtion or an orange alert, thankfully. I'm not wild about the smell, but I think it fades quickly. And, it's inexpensive...which is good because I have had to use a whole lot of it to get a nice gently tanned look for my freakishly pasty legs. I wish I could cross breed this with Neutrogena's Build a Tan (which is better in terms of amount needed, staying power and smell) and then I would have my perfect self tanner. I'm not wild about it, but it will probably be my brand of choice this summer, especially since it does not stain clothing or even my hands when I was lax about washing them afterwards.

This was the first of the gradual self-tanners that I tried. I like the forgiving nature of it, application is a breeze. I like to apply it at night before bed. The color is ...okay. I find it fades a little weird, especially on my arms. I apply a rich body butter to ankles, knees, elbows and hands then apply the tanner everywhere else. After about 10 minutes I'll apply my favorite regular body lotion over it and I always get even results this way. With so many new products of this type, I plan to experiment with some of the others, so I doubt I will repurchase.

Used this product for several weeks. The "tan" was barely noticeable, and I'm very light-skinned. The scent didn't bother me too much, and the product did not discolor my clothes.

i'm a asian girl with very dry fair skin, and at first i was thrilled with the first application. of course, after the second or third application, my husband started noticing - not a good sign. i bought the fair skin tone version, and it's turned me this odd apricot color that has a pink undertone. definitely not believable. honestly if it could turn me a nice golden brown, i'd deal with the fact that it does not moisturize well and after the strong smell finally goes away, you're left smelling like wet leaves.

I'm a bit iffy on this stuff. I like that it makes me look darker, but if I use nair on my legs a few hours before and then try to apply this stuff even after showering, it won't stick. I don't have any problem with the smell, but you have to apply it to bare skin. If you put on skin cream or anything else, it won't soak in. That's my only complaint about this stuff. Well, that and it's been darkening unevenly on my skin lately.

As you know by now, I'm a very pasty PPP. This stuff has saved my legs in the summer. I start to use this around springtime (shorts and capri weather) through the summer. It adds a very nice very light color to my legs, just enough to cover up all those imperfections women get from shaving and bumps and all. I'm no longer totally self-consciencous of my white white legs, and can proudly wear shorts and skirts since my legs have a little bit of color. It blends really well with my skintone, and it doesn't make my arms or face look like it doesn't match my legs. I have and will bought/buy this again. UPDATE: This stuff smells like dirt so bad, that I don't use it anymore and had to return it. I now use Hawaiian Tropic Island Glow Moisturizer that builds to a gradual tan by the 3rd day, and it has NO smell, and dries quickly.

Overall, I like this. I have really fair, dry skin. I have used this for about 4 or 5 days and I can already tell a difference. One downside is that my ankles and elbows are a little darker than the rest of me, but that is my fault. I recommend this for people like me who can't tan at all!

This is pretty good for a drugstore product but not the best on the market. I got the light and the medium. I am an nc30 light olive complexion. Both definately have a strong self tanner scent. Both arent really moisturizing. Both retail for between $7-9 for 7.5 oz. The light gives the slightest amount of color but is easier to apply. The medium can be a little orangey and is harder to apply so sometimes you see streaks. I use these occassionally when i havent used my regular self tanner at night in a while. I wont repurchase and will try the other drugstore brands out there first to see if they are any better.
