Awful. This sat on top of my nails like a bubble-filled layer of plastic, and very neatly peeled off in the shower after less than 24 hours. It went straight into the garbage because I wouldn't wish this on anyone else!

I have very thin, weak, peely nails so I thought this would be a great product for me....not so much. It peels off in less than 24 hours and my nails aren't much stronger when it's on. I now use it only on my toes and I really like it as a base coat on my toes because it fills out the ridges nicely and makes them al little stronger.

Oh my. It takes a great deal for me to throw a product out after one use, but that's what happened with Sally Hansen's Hard as Wraps. About 5 years ago I had a brief fling with acrylics. We flirted across the dance floor, had a torrid affair, and then amicably parted ways. The only thing I miss about them is how unbelievably strong they were. I could practically cut through sheet metal with those things. So when I saw Hard as Wraps in its fetching teal bottle, claiming that it was full of acrylic goodness, I was drawn in. But it was not to be. The texture was like glue. The surface of every nail was coated with a million bubbles. And in a matter of days the polish on each of my fingers peeled off in a neatly shaped little oval. A complete and utter waste of money.

I was REALLY disappointed after I bought this product. The product's box said that this stuff is supposed to make your natural nails "Hard as Wraps" Yeah, right. This polish peeled off of my nails two seconds after I applied it. It was also very gooey and stringy. I slam-dunked it right into the garbage can. My natural nails are still weaker than ever. I'm going back to artificial nails in a few weeks. Save your money and do not purchase this stuff! If I could give it a 0-star rating instead of 1 star, I definitely would.

I'm not a big fan on this product, I'm quite lazy n my nails keep chipping so I thought i'd give it a try as I want long nails. I was attracted by the fact there is acrylic in this product. However once I used the product I was rather turned off. Firstly, when this product chips it tends to take my nails with it, leaving my nails in worse condition. It is hard to remove, takes extra effort. And I've hardly used my bottle, still more than half way full and it has turned hard, and I have thick strings of the product coming out of the bottle when I try to use and I am getting bubbles on my nails too. I've just bought the original hard as nails as I've heard that's better.

I bought this to make my nails stronger. But this product is realy bad. First of all it didnt make my nails any stronger.Second of all this stuff peels right off your nails, like a nice lil' coat of plastic, all in one piece, and you can guess the result, your nails are weaker than before you used this product. Not recomended!!!!

Ok here's the deal. This stuff is supposed to be like Silk Wraps, which it is! Your new "growth" has to be "filled in" just like at the salon. I only use the Gel (not the 'activator") This stuff is actually super glue, with a brush applicator. My nails are hard as rocks, and that nail that ALWAYS splits, no longer splits! It's kinda hard to work with, but put it on, let it dry - then buff the surface smooth. After that apply your polish - it will last long, like on artificial nails!! I no longer got to the salon!! Well work the 8 buck at Walmart!

I bought this to fill in a crack that I had in my wrap so water wouldn't get inbetween it. Fills in the cracks nicely, but goes on real thick, takes FOREVER to dry and bubbles start to appear after just one coat. It will take me a while to get through this bottle, so I'm not going to by again.

Goes on very thick and gooey and didn't seem to make my bendy nails much harder. Takes a long time to dry and is very difficult to get it to go on without bubbles. Also, the polish tends to get stringy threads that hang off the applicator when you pull it out of the bottle that get in the way or mess up the finish. I exchanged this for the Age Correct treatment that gets very high ratings and am much happier. The Age Correct is an outstanding base coat.
