This face wash effectively removes my makeup, yet somehow doesn't leave my face feeling stripped or dried out. I have very sensitive skin and unfortunately, even some cleansers will activate new breakouts. This one has not. I've been using it every day without any problems, and I recommend it if you have skin that is very sensitive/reactive. Just one warning: the pump on the bottle is absolutely terrible and will probably frustrate you.

I absolutely love this face wash. I have tried many cleansers and this is my favourite so far. It completely removes my eye makeup (I usually wear non waterproof mascara and line my eyes with eye shadow) while being really gentle on my eyes and my face. If my oily skin gets even a little too dried out by a cleanser than it starts producing more oil to make up for the temporary dryness.
Since it's so effective and yet so gentle my acne, and general condition of my face, has improved. I like this product so much I don't think I will bother to stray to another cleanser for a very very long time.

Honestly, I always thought the Olay skincare line was for older ladies & men only. Haha, I was wrong! I use this to take off my makeup before using my Neutrogena cleanser to clean my skin. It has not broken me out at all and I love it. I can't say it has actually done much for my skin but I can definitely say it has a great feeling on my skin. I've been using it for over 2 months. It's great! (:

I can't believe how much I love this cleanser. I have sensitive, combo skin with rosacea and this cleanser made my skin so soft. I do use a moisturizer right afterwards and use it only at night to take my makeup off. In the morning I just rinse my face with water. This has actually helped with some problem areas. I also like that it has no fragrance. I used to use Olay products over 10 years ago and then moved on to more expensive products as my income increased. It's about the same time I started having bad skin...now that I have no income (stay at home mom), I've gone back to Olay and my great skin has returned. I should have never left.
Update: This started to irritate my eyes and I am a contact lense wearer so I took a lippie for that. I will still use it for the rest of my face but will not buy again for that reason.

I usually use Pond's Cold Cream to take my makeup off then Aveeno Moisturizing Cream Cleanser to wash my face but I haven't been able to find the Aveeno Cream Cleanser anymore so I have been looking for another gentle cleanser to use after my Pond's. I read a lot of good reviews on here on this Olay Sensitive Foaming Face Wash so I tried it but I wish I wouldn't have. I have dry, sensitive skin with mild rosacea and have been using Ziana prescribed by derm to see if it would help the redness on my face. Well, I used this Olay one time by itself because I didn't have any makeup on and it felt great while using and after I felt a little dry but not too bad. The next day my cheeks were really red more red then usual and then they got more sensitive and have been hurting and I have dry patches on my cheeks. I only used this one time and haven't changed anything else and have went back to my normal routine but I'm still trying to get rid of this dryness a few days later. I will not try this again but I did read just now that someone uses this as their makeup brush cleaner so I think that's what I'll use up this bottle for.

I love this cleanser! I have tried absolutely everything out there, and I always come back to this one! My skin is very sensitive and acne-proned, so I used to use cleansers and moisterizers and night gels, etc. to clear my acne...until my skin was so irritated that it hurt to not anly tuch it but look at it :). So, i remembered that olay has a true wash for sensitive skin and I went back to it. In 2 days it clamed my skin completely and restore it to soft, clear stage!! Now, I use the cleanser along with the Hydrating Lotion, and love it! No acne, no irritation! I recommend it to all my friends. BTW, my mom uses only Olay and she gets so many compliments on her skin!

Love this cleaner! It's not harsh at all, doesn't upset my sensitive skin. It removes my makeup very well without stripping it of it's moisture. It's exactly what a gentle basic cleanser should be. Will be using this from now on.

I have the new packaging style (blue and white squeeze tube). I wasn't impressed with Olay products in the past. But, Olay Sensitive Skin Foaming Face Wash is the exception. I love the way this cleanser is working out for me. It's perfect for my skin because it's oil free and it doesn't dry out my skin. Also, it works up a good cream lather that works well with my Clarisonic. I find that it removes makeup decently yet still leaves the skin soft. I find this works better then Philosophy Purity, Cetaphil and Purpose. Olay Senisitve doesn't cause clogged pores, redness or breakouts.
Age: 25-29 Skin: Combination Hair: Blond Eyes: Blue
This cleanser makes my skin really soft and smooth. IMO, This is better than Cetaphil (and a lot less cheaper). I buy this at my local Dollar General for $4.35.
Age: 30-35 Skin: Sensitive, Fair, Warm Hair: Blond, Wavy, Fine Eyes: Green
I can only use this in the summer when my skin is oilier as it can dry me out a bit. It helps remove sunscreen and makeup without any residue. Does not irritate my very sensitive skin.
Age: 30-35 Skin: Combination, Fair Hair: Brunette, Wavy, Fine Eyes: Hazel
My bottle looks different than the pictures, it is all blue. But I like this stuff, it is simple and no frills and does not break me out. Suds up nicely with my clarisonic. Doesn't dry me out at all, and I am prone to dryness. Love it and would buy again.

In general, I don't believe in using foaming washes on any skin type as they are simply too aggravating. Although this didn't strip as much as others I have tried, it contains a variety of sulfates which are known skin irritants. I cannot get my head around how companies can market products with these ingredients as "sensitive". Having said that, this cleanser was better than I thought, it wasn't too harsh but I will definitely be sticking to more (truly) gentle products such as Moogoo.
Age: 19-24 Skin: Combination, Fair, Neutral Hair: Brown, Wavy, Fine Eyes: Green
I'm not that impressed with this. I guess I have to stick with a cleanser that has some kind of active acne-fighting ingredient (which this doesn't) to help with cleaning pores out. I wouldn't really say this was suitable for sensitive skin either. The pump bottle is okay if you leave it upright but DO NOT through it in a travel bag without locking the pump dispenser, the product leaks out the top if you tilt it over!! Got all over EVERYTHING! Kinda my own fault...they do I think make this in a tube with a cap which would have been better but I don't think I will be repurchasing this again anyway.

Great basic cleanser, removes my face makeup easily, and leaves my skin feeling fresh and clean. Love this.

I have been using this for several months now. I have highly reactive, sensitive skin thats mostly tight and dry due to a dry skin condition. I can use various moisturizers though cleansers are another story. Funny stuff that stays on my face all day does not effect me as much as stuff I put on for a minute then rinse off, hence my inability to find a suitable cleanser. I am sure there are better, but for the price and availability, this works well.
I can also use it to remove my mu including wp mascara (be cautious around eyes as always, will sting if it gets in them), or use it after a makeup remover. One bottle has lasted me quite a while and I will buy again because its non irritating. No bells and whistles to promise anti-aging effects, but maybe thats why its non irritating, its just that basic. Everything else in the ds, and even high end products, were problematic for me till this.
Age: 25-29 Skin: Combination, Medium, Warm Hair: Brunette, Straight, Medium Eyes: Hazel
I bought the sensitive skin version of this by accident. I was pleasantly surprised to see that this little gem could easily remove all of my makeup, including WP mascara and still leave my face feeling smooth and moisturized. My hubby has even used it and commented on how nice it makes his face feel afterwards. :)
Great product for about $5.00 from the DS.

Works great at not stripping my sensitive facial skin, while still giving a clean feel. Will repurchase!
Age: 36-43 Skin: Combination, Fair-Medium Hair: Brunette, Curly, Medium Eyes: Brown
This face wash worked great for my sensitive skin. It takes off my makeup without stripping my skin. Love that I can get this at the drugstore. Most face washes are too harsh and make my skin red, including cetaphil. This is one of the few products that didn't do that. Will buy again.

I have been using this cleanser for the past 2-3 months and I think it works really great for my skin. I have combination skin, my skin is oily but I do get random dry patches especially during the winter. I think this cleanser helps balance my skin better, it doesn't feel as oily anymore and with the warm weather approaching my skin isn't getting any dry patches. I love the way it foams because it makes my skin extremely clean after I finish washing my face. And I have been breaking out less lately, the only problems I have are the redness in my cheeks, scarring and the occasional pimple or two but it isn't as bad as it used to be. I think this cleanser also helps calm my redness just a little. I am almost done with this product, while I am tempted to go try new products I think I will repurchase this again.

I know this cleanser has a cherished spot in the hearts of many, but it's just not for me. I originally bought this product after seeing rave reviews online. I've tried the pump version and the tube version (they're the exact same product, check the ingredient labels). I used it for a few weeks at first, wasn't too impressed and moved on to other products. I tried it again after trying other cleansers and concluded that I just didn't like this particular cleanser. While I felt it cleaned my face just fine, I did not like the filmy feeling left behind after cleansing and rinsing thoroughly. When one has oily skin, one wants his (or her) face to feel clean and not dirty after cleansing. It wasn't a slimy feel, just felt like something didn't rinse off all the way. I don't know what would cause the filmy feeling but I suspect it might be the polyquaternium-10, which is often used as a texture enhancer in hair conditioners. Also, I think this cleanser dried out my skin too much. Might be worth considering if your skin is on the dry side and the filmy feeling doesn't bother you.
