First off, I transferred it to a tub - hate tubes. The scent is not all that obnoxious and it doesn't really linger. As to the tanning effect, it is very gradual. Use circular motions and it won't streak.

This is a good, inexpensive, easy to get your hands on, fast acting self tanner. That being said, I think its definitely worth the money. Under 10 dollars and you get instant results within a week. The tan looks very natural, no orangeyness, no uneven-ness. Its definitely moisturizing. The only cons are the smell and the staining of the hands. The smell isn't pleasant but isnt unbearable, doesnt smells chemically and that's all that matters to me. The staining on the other hand was definitely avoidable lol. I had made the mistake of not washing my hands right after applying the product. But after I had began washing my hands directly after, the staining went away. I think this product is a great buy, it works and its inexpensive so why not? :)

This is such a stinky lotion! I didn't think it was so bad at first, but because this is a moisturizer as well as a self-tanner, you're supposed to use it everyday or it wont build up the tan, and boy oh boy it smells so bad. It gave me such bad migraines. It didn't even seem to build up any color and I used it for 5 days in a row before I had to stop. I saw much quicker results from my Victorias Secret $12 tube.

This is a great product that produces reliable results every time, but you MUST follow the directions. I noticed the tanning results after using it the first time. I have now used it a week, and the results are wonderful! I have not had any problems with staining or streaking, but I was careful to read and follow the directions. The smell is strong when I first put it on, but after it dries and I put on my pajamas, I don't even notice it. The next morning, I rinse it off in the shower. Not only have I acquired a natural looking tan, but my skin has benefited from the moisturizing. No product is idiot-proof, so be sure to read the directions.

I quite like this product. Maybe it's not an HG product or anything, but it definitely leaves a natural tan that builds gradually. The color is nice, especially on the legs, and one starts to notice a difference after a few days of use. Just wash hands after, since it will turn hands an unsightly orange.

Hi it's BeautyxxLover :) So starting off with first impressions. The packaging design/artwork is pleasing. On the 2011 bottle, it shows a gradual color darkening on the front and back showing you how tan you could get. I bought fair/medium one. Let me just say, this is like a thick moisturizer. It does not "tan" you. It is gradual to get tan, but you will notice a glow. I don't like this because this has golden SPARKLES in it. Good for an in - love or pregnant mother glow, but not for serious tanners. The cap applicator is good, since i don't have to worry about screwing on the cap when applying. Do exfoliate, because it will look a little weird with streaking, but not terribly noticeable. But seriously, this advertises to be a self TANNER. The back of the bottle shows white skin becoming dark. If I wanted a glow, i'd go get pregnant.

Haha, on the bright side, the color developed slightly over 8 hrs. so it's perfectly fine to apply in the morning and by the afternoon, it won't be obvious. you'll just look flushed. i think this is good for a little glow like maybe for breakfast with friends or something. not for the "OMG ur a hot sun kissed babe" reaction. More like "your skin is glowing, what are you using? r u really happy?" I won't be buying it because i want to be super dark this summer. Btw, if your really fair, idk if u should buy this because it leaves the skin a little yellow. don't get this for tanning. if ur a medium skin tone or asian, go ahead and try it for that little glow. also, i hate using this in the summer because its so thick that it feels heavy and i'm scared to death of sweating it off and being streaky. good for winter because it's so moisturizing. i'll probably use it till the last drop cuz i'm so cheap, but i will have to spend most of time outside and in the mystic tan *sigh* i won't buy this again tho.

I like this product. It's okay. Would I buy it again, no.
I am very light skined and it's hard for me to find the right self tanner.
I like this one alright as long as I mix it with another moisturizer, because it tends to streak on my fair skin.
I think it is okay, but I like Sublime Glow better(:

I've been using this product for about 5 years now it delivers a nice tanned look without looking orange and is easy to wash off your hands. It also doesn't leave you looking streaky. My only issue with this product is the very strong self tanner smell, I generally apply the night before and shower the next morning which gets rid of the smell.

This product is much better for the body rather than the face. Its funny how people desire to be tan, i wish there was a product that would make you lighter

I've tried this in the past and didn't really like it but thought I'd give it another shot.

I thought maybe last time I used the wrong color, so I opted for the fair tone (it also helped that it was on clearance).

The smell alone will force me to never buy it again. My boyfriend HATES when I put this stuff on. Not only that, but I didn't see any different at all except for some splotches/streaks on my shins.

The price was good but you're better off investing in something that works.

I recently started using this product in the fair to medium version, and I'm surprised at how well it works. A little background - I am new to self tanners. I have always been very fair skinned and like my skin tone, and besides which I always burn very easily without tanning much in the summer. I have also always been turned off by the stinky, orangey, streaky formulas I watched my mom applied when I was a kid. I always figured it wasn't worth the effort and that I couldn't find a product subtle enough to look natural on my skin tone. But my legs do not tan AT ALL in the summer time, and they are a bit pasty even by the end of summer, so I decided to take the plunge and try Jergen's Natural Glow. It is easy to use - I either apply it over a moisturizer or mix it in with lotion and massage into my legs and feet thoroughly after showering. I have not had any problems with it streaking at all btw. After doing this for about a week I do have a nice, even color going on my legs! Now I apply it every 2 or 3 days to maintain the color. True, it may be too subtle for some people who like a deep, dark tan but for me it was exactly the color I am going for - enough so that I don't blind anyone with my legs in the summer. The smell is a bit strong when you first apply it, and I agree that it's better to apply it at night for this reason. But it's not that bad, actually quite pleasant after it wears down a bit. I have already purchased a back up of this product, because I know I will be using it throughout the warmer months. If I ever want a more obvious color I may try the tan in a spray can product, but for now I am totally happy with Natural Glow :)

This stuff actually did give me a pretty even glow/tan; but I couldn't use it because of the smell. As a rule I have no sensitivity to fragrance, but this stuff made my eyes sting, and gave me a bad headache, Sad because other than that; it worked well for me.

I bought this in "fair skin" in hopes of giving some colour to my extremely pale legs. Be warned..this smells really bad. Its a very strong scent that gave me a headache ( I am sensitive to fragrance, though). Before buying this you probably should smell it first..
Anyways I don't understand why this tanner gets such praise! It left my legs streaky with orange spots. I followed the instructions and was careful too. I suggest looking somewhere else.

This stuff sucks. Has a nice fragrance though I suppose. Its messy, will stain your clothes even if you wait for it to dry (just from moving), and it starts wearing off unevenly.

This has got to be one of the worst products I've ever tried because of people 'raving' about it. I truly don't get it. The commercial says that a subtle glow will emerge after 4-5 days. Well let me tell you, after one application (and I'm not a moron, I can apply this stuff according to directions and of course I exfoliate before), within hours I had big bright orange splotchy things on my legs (I'm olive with yellow undertones). My legs had no tan to start with. I looked like I had some odd disease. I also used some on my arms and chest which already had nice brownish color.... they turned out brownish-orange. Ugggg! Don't waste your money on this garbage unless you want to look like a fake tanning reject. Oh.. and it leaves you sticky and stains towels too, blech. MUCH better products out there!!!

I have been using this product for a few years now and I'm pretty satisfied with it. I haven't tried any other self tanners. A lot of people complain about the smell, but it doesn't really bother me. Some people also complain that it gives them a yellow or orange coloring. I have natural yellow undertones and this product seems to enhance that a little bit which is fine with me.

I have found that this lotion has gotten a bit streaky or has collected on certain parts of my body more than others. If you shake the bottle a bit before squeezing out the lotion it can help. In order to decrease the chances of the color from becoming splotchy or streaky, you MUST EXFOLIATE! I cannot stress this enough. You have to exfoliate before you start the one week process, and then exfoliate after a week of using it. If you do not exfoliate, splotches and streaks are more likely to appear because you'll just be piling layers of tanning lotion on top of dead skin cells.
