I really did not like this lotion. The packaging is pretty but that's the only positive thing I have to say about it. The person who said it smells like a scented tampon hit the nail on the head. I didn't like the consistency. It was too too sticky and it made me itch after I put it on. I paid $7.99 for it so I am a little disappointed. I will definitely not but this product again.

i love this product! i usually don't have dry skin but i bought it to use during the rough Canadian winter, which was rougher than usual this year. i mostly put it on my legs as i shave them all the time which leaves my skin dry in the winter. it does wonders to soften your skin. i'll use it in the summer to moisturize my freshly shaved legs - it doesn't sting and leaves them amazingly soft. my fiance can't get enough of my legs ;)

This is my favorite lotion, even thu i do not have dry skin, but this keeps my body (especially my legs) so moisturized for a very long time (3-4 days). I love the scent and how non-greasy it is. A little goes a LONG way, funny story is i now have 3 unused ones cause my mother got me another one due to forgetting we got 2 for 10$s (it is normally around 8$), so even thu i will NOT be buying any soon, but after i am done with what i have i will surly buy more of it! I had some scratches on my legs (playing with kittens) and i noticed this makes them heal much faster than applying Vaseline's petroleum jelly to the marks. I can't stop touching my legs or wherever i have applied this to!!
ADDED 4/10/08-I just noticed the little shimmer after reading the reviews, it is VERY nice and pretty, hardly noticeable. I t looks like little natural sparkles on ur skin. It goes away soon, but the moisture lasts a LONG time.

Not a fan. I have really dry skin and normally I stick to Vaseline lotions, but I picked up Olay on sale. I really don't feel like my skin is absorbing the lotion, it just sits on top. My skin still feels uncomfortable and flakey after using this, and it doesn't last. I'd have to reapply at least three times a day to get the results I get with Vaseline. Plus, the glitter in this is over-the-top. It's not cute and doesn't make your skin glow, it just looks weird and shiney.

VERY moisturizing and it really feels like a "quench" to my body whenever i apply it. it has a pleasant scent and the glitter isn't so bad and barely noticeable unless if you're under super bright lights.. which i don't mind at all :) definitely a keeper!

This has become the only body lotion I can use on my skin. I have sensitive skin on my body, and just about any other body lotion makes me break out in small pimpley-hives all over my chest and back. This is wonderful. It's not greasy and leaves my skin super soft - even in the winter when I tend to have drier skin - and no breakouts.
The shimmer is really not that noticible. At first, I was a little put off by it, but it's barely there and adds a nice touch with a summer tan.

I LOVE THIS PRODUCT :)
This is my favorite body lotion -- hands down. I use this everyday after a shower and put it on my legs. My legs were noticeably soft in a week and the lotion smells quite nice. I really like the slight shimmer it has to it because it gives a nice effect on your legs. This is a must have if you're planning to wear skirts or shorts in the summer.

I absolutely love this product! (I have the version with vitamin E and B3.) I have extremely dry skin that can be scaly, and in the winter it literally can become chapped around my abdomen, which is really painful. In the past, the only thing that could heal this was Eucerin, but I always hated the smell and sticky texture of it. Before this, I was hooked on C.O. Bigelow's Lemon Body Cream, but that was too expensive to maintain and seemed only strong enough for summer use. Quench appears to work a lot better anyway, as it seems to penetrate a lot deeper in repairing my skin.
When I first used it, it initially didn't feel as though it completely absorbed into my skin. I think this was because I was so incredibly dry. However, I faithfully applied it every day after showering and within 2 weeks there was a complete transformation. It also really does keep me moisturized for 24 hours, as promised. I highly recommend it for anyone with extremely dry skin. This stuff has truly changed my skin into a smoothness / softness I have never had in my life!
As for the shimmer / smell:
I personally think the shimmer in the lotion should be advertised on the bottle for those that don't want it, but I have really barely noticed it. I wouldn't have even known it was there if not for the reviews! Also, the smell (to me) is a light vanilla that fades pretty quickly and seems pretty compatible with any fragrance one might wear over it. Overall: a must have for me!

While I enjoyed the effects of the normal to dry, I really did not like this formula. I do think it moisturizes if you apply it right after your shower, and it keeps my skin nice and soft. But recently, I started to notice a dusty, old furniture sort of smell hanging around me. At first, I thought it was my antique furniture "scenting" my clothes, but then I realized that it was the lotion!!!! I cannot wear it again obviously. So, I won't be using it anymore unless they come up with another scent and I certainly won't begin to try this particular formula again. I do hope they make an unscented version!

I like this lotion but not purchased regularly as there are cheaper alternative out there. I use this lotion in the winter months when my lower body, especially around mid section is very dry. I recently read ingredients and noticed that most cheap lotion are made with either mineral oil or petroleum (or petrolatum), which made dryer in the long term. Petroleum even causes breast cancer in an article and banned in EU! (http://www.health-report.co.uk/petroleum_petrolatum_health_concerns.htm)
Anyway, when I finished my current bottle, I am not buying again. I'll check carefully or non-mineral oil or petroleum/petrolatum lotion in the future.

I normally like Olay products but this lotion sucked big time. I was sooooo disappointed because there was so much hype surrounding it when it came out. I did not like the scent, I really hated the stupid sparkles and it did not even moisterise my skin. I returned it to the drug store and got my 7 bucks back. Big thumbs down.

I really wanted to like this product... I am a huge fan of glowing skin, and i wear lotion every single day. I thought this was just a basic lotion, nothing spectacular about it. The smell is too powdery for me, and the shimmer in it is pretty tacky. Does an ok job of moisturizing, but i have used many other products that are better. Too expensive for a mediocre drug store lotion. BBW lotions are the same price and far better! I will use it till its gone, but will not repurchase. Jergens ultra healing is much better for less money, and contains no glitter :D.

i've been using this product for a few years now. I apply it every morning after I get out of my shower. It feels great and has a very slight shimmer to it. I also put it on my hands throughout the day. I love how it doesn't feel oily, but still hydrates. During the winter it is not strong enough for my hand and feet though, so I use other products for those areas. During the summer I can use the normal to dry formula, but I will probably just stick with this one from now on. I also love that you can buy a smaller size, which is better for traveling.
Packaging Downside: On the larger size, it is a pump, but the tube doesn't go all the way to the bottom. When I get towards the end of the bottle I have to scoop out the lotion with the tube.

I really like Olay products in general, and I got this at Walgreens when it was BOGO half off, and I used up one bottle, but now I'm stuck with my 2nd bottle. I like this product in that it actually works, and isn't too sticky, however, the SMELL just puts me off totally! And my nose isn't even particularly sensitive! I think its the shea butter smell, because most products with shea butter seem to smell like that to me (you'd think that the amount of shea butter they put inside wouldnt be enough to cause a smell!). So if you don't like the smell don't buy it. I'd recommend smelling it first before buying, so you can figure if you can live with the scent or not. I can't, so I wouldn't ever rebuy. Also the glitter is a huge issue with me. No one actually notices it when I put the lotion on to be honest, and it rubs off onto your clothes so not that much is on your skin, but still! I prefer my Jergens lotion, it smells nice and doesn't leave glitter on yoru skin, just a nice glow.

I really love this lotion the best... I keep "Wanting" to come back to it because it works so well, but i just can't. The smell just really bothers me and makes me kind of sick, and I HATE how there is glitter/shimmer in it. However, I love how well it hydrates, but because of the other factors against it, I will not repurchase unless they change the scent and lose the glitter.

Seriously fantastic! I was searching for something that would really help moisturize my skin during the harsh winter. The lotion sinks right into your skin and is not greasy or "thick" like some others in this price range. Packaging is tidy and the cap snaps on snugly with no leaks. The smell is pleasant and not overpowering - my boyfriend loves the way I smell after using it. Best of all - it instantly stops the "winter itchies" - that horrible itchy feeling your skin can get after being outdoors during winter. I would definitely re-purchase. A wonderful product for the $7 price.

If there were to be a HG of lotions this one would be mine! I love the fact that it sinks right into my skin and really does what it says.. moisturizes for 24 hours!! This is the best lotion I've used to date. I've been using it since it first came out and I will always be a loyal user. Just to test the lotion.. one time I tried buying another brand comparable to Olay that stated that it had similar effects. I asked my boyfriend how my skin felt and he could tell it wasnt as soft and moisturized. The other brand made me feel greasy and sticky... and Olay is not greasy at all and quite soft. The scent is ok... I do wish it smelled sweeter but the benefits of this lotion far outweigh the cons. Another draw back is that it does have some very small finely milled sparkles in it so dont use it on your face.

Moisturizes really well and sinks right in. No greasy feel, yet my skin is fully hydrated. Not fond of the smell because it's not light and doesn't really fade quickly. I'm also not sure if I like the sparkles because I'm African-American with dark skin. Would buy again if they made it fragrance-free and without the sparkles.

I had been looking for a lotion that could truly moisturize my very dry scaly legs for a long time, so when I saw the commercial for this lotion I was really hopeful. I bought it and immediately put it on when I got home. It sunk right into my skin, but the real test was whether or not it could last. And it did! I didn't have to reapply it 4 hours later like other lotions. In fact it lasted even longer - whole day longer. There is also some subtle shimmer, not gold sparkles like I read in another review. I love this lotion, and I'd use it more - if only I hadn't broken the dispenser pump. But I bought two more that I'm going to try not to break. Anyway, if you have very dry skin, like mine, I strongly suggest you try this stuff. It's awesome!
