This is my HG of concealers. I've tried others but always go back to this one and buy it in bulk. If you have oily skin like I do you'll love it. It wears well all day and completely hides acne scars, sun damage or any other facial blemishes you need to cover. I have hyperpigmentation and I use this in conjunction with Revlon Colorstay foundation for total coverage of my damaged skin. I just wish Clinique would make more colours as there are only 2 in this line. I can work the the Medium but it would be nice to have other colours available.

This concealer is really effective. I use the lightest shade, and it blends easily, dries evenly, and has a long lasting matte finish. I also love the packaging--it's more convenient and sanitary than a pot or wand. The price is also reasonable compared to other higher-end brands, and since a little goes a long way, one tube will last forever. I wish I had known about Advanced Concealer sooner. I would have started using it after my beloved Shu Mark Cealer was discontinued.

This is a nice concealor. It's really smooth with great coverage! I bought it at a make up factory outlet place and I got it only for $8.95!!! I usually use the wand kind, which I like better, but the tube is alright. The colour choice is pretty minimal. No. 2 use to work well for me, but I had tanned a bit last summer, and now it's a tad light for my skin, but I still really like it, and would re-purchase later.

Best concealer i've used (full coverage, matte finish, blendable), but it doesn't match my skin. Light is too light and Medium is too dark. I wish they had more colors. Will not purchase again.

3 for this due to super crappy shade selection. All of two colors to choose from, which is a real bummer because I love the consistency and coverage. I also like the fact that the product comes in a tube, which to me seems way more sanitary than a wand concealer, such as the company's line minimizing. Unfortunately, I'm going to have to break this out again in the summer, once I'm a bit more tan-the lightest shade is way too dark on my winter white skin.

Let me start by saying that I don't like anything from Clinique, except this concealer!!!It blends so well and covers even the worst break-outs. I love that it's matte, but too much use can be drying. Also it isn't great under the eyes because it "balls up" a bit. But for the face you can't beat it! I'm 01 and it's perfect. LOVE IT!
EDIT**** Just kidding! After a year of use I have discovered that this clogs my pores! It ended up being very drying too.

Best concealer ever. The color matte light was a perfect match for me. I'll probably switch to matte dark when I get a tan in the summer. I mix it with a tiny bit of clinique moisture surge oil free moisturizer and it glides on beautifully and dries to a powdery finish. After I apply it, I pat my face with powder and my face is flawless. I've gotten 3 compliments on my skin already this week.

Like: The matteness, great for using under foundation. Pretty well priced at 12.50. Cute packaging.
Hate: The color choices!!! There are only two. I am a light MMM and the light is too light the dark too dark. I tried to wear it alone under my foundation, but you could see the dark splotches the concealer made no matter how much I blended before putting on foundation! Im not sure how suitable this would be for undereye, as I only use it for blemishes/blemish scars. All in all, I would only repurchase if they came up with a shade closer to my skintone! As it is, I have to mix it with an Almay concealer that was a gwp! I will finish the tube up and move on.

It's a pretty good product for pimples and such. I've been using it for about 3 years, and I always get the feeling that I could have better coverage for my under eye circles. It has a matte finish which makes it possible to wear alone without powder or anything else on your face. I don't believe that it makes you break out as other reviewers have said. Breakouts can occur from more than just makeup. If the person using the makeup is prone to breakouts than any particular product could cause them to breakout. I do not get pimples much, so I don't break out. Those who tend to get pimples more often do break out and it's a little unfair to blame the concealer. If anything may cause someone to break out more than concealer it would be moisterizer, foundation, or powder.

I have used this for years and it is my HG concealer. This applies and blends smoothly and provides great coverage. I have never had any breakouts as a result of using this product. A little goes a long way so you really get your $'s worth out of the tube. The only down side is that if you aren't used to using this concealer you may have some waste the first couple of times due to the fact that a little does go a long way.

It's so true...what the other reviwers have mentioned about this concealer. It does make you break out even more. I use this concealer to cover dark spots from previous pimples and it just doesn't allow the skin to breathe. It makes it so much worse. What's grosser still...is that you get more little tiny pimples all over the area. It doesn't happen all at once. I've had this for about 2 weeks now and never really thought of it as bad. But these past days, it's like an eruption of little pimples by the eyebrows. Plus, the matte coverage is just too cakey on my skin. Yuck!!

HOLY GRAIL: Okay I've been using this concealer for about 7 years and honestly when I had major skin issues back in the day this stuff covered and didn't move and I could relax that my spots were concealed! There were days when I couldn't leave the house without it. The concealer comes in a small tube and goes along way and I'm only on my 3rd in 7 years so I think thats pretty good and cost efficiant. The formula dries to a matte powder finish and usually I use the Line-smoothing from clinique under my eyes and this for and imperfections I need to cover but after being frustrated with concealers lately I decided to use this sparingly under the eyes and WOW covers my dark circled and NO creasing! Hallelujah sp? I'm in love all over again! I'm done straying!

I'll start out by saying I am very acne prone and have many scars on my face but I really have been saved by this product. I dont think the color choices are that great so if you dont match youre out of luck but if you do i think it covers really well. Ive used a billion concealers and love this one and always buy it.

Ends up looking cakey, and draws more attention to areas you're trying to hide.

I don't understand the bad reviews on this at all! This is the most awesome concealer I have ever used for acne - it will fully cover the biggest, brightest, reddest zit you can find so that not even a trace of red remains, and somehow the formula even seems to makes it appear flatter. It is very matte (a wonderful smooth powdery matte) but that's one of the things I like about it! Liquidy makeups often have crappy staying power. Because it's so matte, not only does it last, but I can use it on problem spots and then apply foundation OVER it (patting it on with a sponge) without worrying about any of the concealer coming off in the process. A little of this stuff goes a long way, so at $12.50, it's a very economical purchase. Even when my skin does get drier, I just pat it on, and I don't find that this emphasizes flakes or dry spots anymore than any other concealer (of course as always be sure to moisturize underneath if you're dry). This is also one of the few makeups that doesn't break me out. This is more for use on blemishes and small spots than undereyes or large patches of skin, but I do on occassion use the tiniest amount of this on top of my eye moisturizer and undereye concealer, and it does a good job of adding a little extra coverage on those days I really need it. If you're looking for something with this kind of coverage that has more moisture and is more blendable, than I recommend Clinique Line Smoothing Concealer. It has almost as opaque coverage but can be used on undereyes and spread over large patches of skin. I took off a lipstick because of the crappy color selection, and the fact that "light" is WAY too dark for really pale skin.

This is great because it covers very well, even my birthmark on my forehead. I dries into a powdery finish, and contrary to the reviews, if you apply and blend quickly it can work for under eye circles. Shade no.1 is a perfect match for me, but I could understand why it would be hard to find shades for some people. I just wish it was bigger.

Overrated as all clinique products I've tried on clients. I'm always searching for the perfect products for my models, and clinique products are just way over rated. I'd compare their quality to W and W. It's not worth spending your money on ladies.

I've used this for years as a primer for my eyeshadow. It's also very good for spot concealing, although a bit too matte for under-eye circles. A little goes a LONG way, because if you overdo it, it tends to cake up. Like most Clinique products, it may not be trendy, but it's serviceable and well-priced.

ugh, what's the point of a concealer if it makes you break out??? its thick, heavy, dry, and chalky, so do not apply this to dry skin! it wont' blend easily. at first i thought i liked it, but found out later while everytime i use it, i break out MORE at that spot. too matte for me, dont use on undereye circles, won't work. it'll work better if the skin is a little bit moisturized (or damp) before application so it can apply more smoothly. i use this to cover up acne scars or dark spots (which is does pretty well) besides the break outs afterwards. when i'm desperate, a pimple, but like i said, it'll make me break out even more! that's just prob my skin tho, i dont really have acne prone skin either.

I like Clinique's compact powder foundations so I thought this might be a good addition, but it didn't perform well at all. It comes out nice and creamy, but it dries horrible and chalky. My skin is very fair with yellow undertones, so I chose the lightest shade. I have tried to wear it out twice, and every time people have said, "Hey, you've got an orange spot on your face..." Not very attractive. I don't like the tube either, even with the cap on it tends to let air in and the concealer gets stuck in the tip. Overall opinion? Stay away!
