This is the best hand cream I've ever tried. At least compared to tbs' soft hands kind heart. It is expensive but the consistency is very thick, I don't need to use a lot. And it does moisturise so well, I have very dry skin so I don't only put it on my hands, I put it on my eczema patches and my feet as well. I don't re-apply it so many times because it's expensive and I've only tried the travel size but I'll definitely repurchase.

The skin on the back of my hand started peeling and becoming red from the cold, and no moisturizer was helping. I hate those moisturizers that sit on the skin and SEEM to repair dryness, but after a few hours, all that it has done is either 1) sit on the skin without absorbing or 2) absorbed but did nothing to help dryness. I am slightly OCD so I wash my hands all the time, and this is the only hand cream that has ever worked for me. Ever. It boggles my mind how well it works for me. It's smooth, creamy, and soaks right in without feeling oily (I can't explain the consistency. Slightly "matte"/baby powder but still hydrating). Usually I hate shea butter because its too oily, but this one is the only exception. It's not cheap, but a tube will last you FOREVER (it lasted my mother a year, and I'm still using it at the end of 4 months)

This is not a bad hand cream. But it is far from the best on my list. I do lots of gardening in my backyard and therefore I am completely dependant on some good hand cream. I also get extreamly dry hands in winter when my skin tends to crack and bleed at the tips of my fingers. So probably someone with less severe skin problems will find this good enough.. Hemp hand cream from TBS is much better and costs far less than L'Occitane. Won't repurchase.

I bought this because one of friends strongly recommend it. she even force me to use it whenever she brings it to work. lol. it is quite expensive for hand cream. and to be honest i don't like any other product made by L'Occitane. but this hand cream is worth it for me. i use a very small amount at night cause i want it to repair my dry hands from lack of reapplying hand cream during the day. yep, too lazy lol. I have to say it's working pretty good. after a week my hands are smoother and the dry lines have improved. my cuticles have improves as well. the peeling is reduced. i would not use it during the day for summer but in the winter i would definitely use it more often. I also use it as foot cream as well. it smells like baby powder and it's quite strong. this could be a problem for people who don't like strong fragrance.

There are so many people raving about this product; I see it used everywhere and I get it recommended repeatedly, but I need to say, it is highly overrated! The packaging is awful, with sharp edges and soft metal which easily tears, letting the pricey product ooze out at odd angles. The product was useless on my hands. I loved the smell and when applying it, it left a slightly greasy feeling - which is good - making my hands feel less rough. But after using it over a longer time, I felt as if it dried out my hands instead of moisturizing them. I thought it might have been "just me" and weird skin, so I gave it to my mom and sister, who both experienced the same. The product was left unused for almost a year, before I decided to apply it to my feet instead of wasting such expensieve product. I won't recommend this and I would never think of repurchasing. The only people who might enjoy this product are those who aren't really in need of a hand cream. Those of us with actual dry hands should stay away. In the case that this cream might work for you, I'm certain there are many many other creams out there who will work better, so give those a try instead, that's my opinion.

I couldn't stand the smell. The cap broke after one month in my purse. I didn't feel anything special about this hand cream. Totally not worth it.

Even though I have found far more superior hand creams, I still buy this one in different scents over and over again. The downside, it only contains 20% shea so if you have really chapped hand you can find products that are 100% shea (which give you the moisture). Also I hate the little tiny cap that can easily get lost if you don't tie it on right. Why i like this product? It does give the perfect amount of moisture to my unchapped hands since I use it almost everyday. It is small and won't take much room in your purse. I have severl of them I leave them all around the house.

This is my favourite hand cream ever. It is pricey, so I use other ones as well; but I keep this in my bag or briefcase (it looks pretty and "appropriate" to be seen by colleauges.... neither too precious or too medicinal! I love the fragrance and the texture. I have dry hands and this makes them feel so much softer; and the skin looks better too. I love the smaller size for the bag.

Hands feel coated by the grease and yet dryer than ever underneath the coating..

I have chronically dry hands and rough flaky patches because I'm a bass player. They're always dry but after washing, facewashing, showers, etc they are just plain terrible. This is a nice hand cream that does a pretty good job at moisturizing but does leave behind a greasy film. I like that it's 20% shea butter. Sadly to my wallet, I have a love affair with La Mer hand creme. It absorbs so fast and moisturizes even better. This is far better than any other hand creme in it's price range but unfortunately doesn't hold a candle to La Mer.

I do think that this is a nice hand cream, it's a thicker cream and that is what I like. It makes my hands soft but I just don't like the scent, I always wanted to try this one out but I can't purchase it anywhere near me. So when I finnaly got my hands on this I was dissapointed by the scent, I thought it would smell better then it does. It's not a bad scent it's just not for me.

This is my HG handcream and I've been using it since forever! Love the smell of shea butter, and it is absorbed into the skin quickly, leaving my hands soft and smooth. I also realised that it makes my nails healthy! My nails used to peel easily, and after daily usage of this made them stronger and imparts a natural sheen to my nails.

I purchased a travel size of this hand cream as an impulse buy at Sephora while I was in the US. It was $10 US. Pretty pricey and was hesitant at first but then thought oh well what do i have to lose? I can always use it at night time before going to bed if its too greasy. Well I was pleasantly surprised! I don't find this greasy at all unless i slather on a lot. The amount I use is perfect for moisturization without the greasy feeling. i really like the smell too as its light and fresh. I use this throughout the day and am loving it alot. I will buy the full tube next when I am in the US as its difficult to find it here in Canada. Total repurchase. My ultimate HG hand cream for sure!

I love this - it's really moisturizing and long lasting. The trick is to not use too much, otherwise it'll be greasy. My hands are so soft :D
